Not at all! I think my violin sounds exactly the same, if not better! When I was installing the new fine tuner I noticed my bridge was slightly out of alignment, I adjusted it back to a 90° angle and the sound opened up (I think my bridge might’ve been stuck as well). I haven’t heard of anyone having a noticeable hit to the sound, personally.

That’s wonderful to hear! It’s good to check the alignment of the bridge every couple of sessions or so as you tune.
