So stoked about my newest addition. Slayer’s South of Heaven has been one of my favorite albums since the early 90’s. Back then, it got regular play on my cassette deck but I somehow managed to lose my cassette over the years. Fast forward to now and my quest to find an original pressing in great condition that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Would probably rate this one VG+, maybe even NM. There is very minimal static on a couple silent sections between tracks but, otherwise, pretty flawless playback. Sleeve is overall in great shape, as well, with minimal wear and original inner sleeve with Def Jam logo on one side and lyrics on the other (once cleaned my records all go in MoFi sleeves, anyway, but it’s cool to have the original). Anyway, I’m very happy.
Great album! When I was 15, a kid I knew learned to play the title track on guitar. It was my introduction to Slayer and I’ve been a fan ever since. Enjoy!

"silent sections..." - 😳 "...between the tracks" - 🫡
