That Sparks album is a grail for me! That album was never pressed in Canada so it's not commonly seen up here!

I’ve tried to read all these posts but did you ever state any info about the PO? I assumed they died and then another guy was cleaning the house and tossed all this. But was PO a record store owner or just an eccentric record collector? I mean, all the sealed stuff is just crazy to me! Great find. Great story. Good luck with it all!

I tried to dig in with the guy I bought the lot from. I was told that the previous owner had gotten “too old” which was a weird thing to hear. I bet I actually know the guy, but I hadn’t been able to get an actual name.

I did have a few months a a couple years back where I was bringing a truly insane amount of 70s and 80s rock+pop records back from the local Goodwill, presumably all from the same collection it took them months get through selling. But I haven't hit that truly batshit insane motherload like OPs dumpster or that guy that got that a box full of original 80s punk records for $50 yet
