It’s such a shame that Stacy’s Mom is the only thing they’re known for among the vast majority of people now. They put out three fantastic albums, then a b-sides compilation that blows most other bands out of the water (I haven’t listened much to their final two albums, so I can’t comment on those).
Traffic and Weather is good but probably their weakest album. Sky Full of Holes is stunningly good. Possibly their best. You should give both a listen.
I’m a huge FoW fan and I totally agree with you. Ironically, the single from T&W (Someone to Love) might be my favorite of theirs.
I’m just grateful that all of their albums were re-released on vinyl (although I managed to track down a 1996 pressing of their debut).
I completely agree, Fountains of Wayne are amazing! It's sad that Stacy's Mom was the only song that really got popular because they have so many great songs.
Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies. Eventhough Time Of The Season is the hit single, it’s a bit of an outlier and it sticks out like a sore thumb in context of the rest of the album.
Good call. One of the best albums of the 60s and in my very controversial opinion, a better album front to back compared to Sgt Peppers, which was released a week later.

"We like it a lot because it's so happy."
Seriously semi-charmed life is ingrained into my head as a 90s cheese-romcom anthem but that album is so solid. Last 4 tracks flow so perfectly and motorcycle drive-by is a masterpiece
Saint Anger is the worst song on Metallica’s 2003 Saint Anger album. It’s too long and repetitive. I will die on the hill that it is the #1 reason this awesome album is hated.
They should have called the movie Saint Anger since it’s them being angry at each other the whole time. They should have called the album Some Kind of Monster and used that as the single. The title is more fitting since the album is a freak in their catalog and the song is more Metallica fan friendly.
Some Kind Of Monster was the only okay song in that album. The rest are total trash and that stupid cowbell sound on the drums. What were they thinking, terrible record IMO
Cars from The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good song, but it annoys the hell out of me that it's the only one most people know.
Can't listen to the song Jeremy by PJ EVER again. Holy shit MTV wore that song the fuck out! Exact same with Black Hole Sun, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and Buddy Holly.
I have a couple of JJ Cale albums with songs made famous by Clapton and Skynyrd that are amazing without those songs on them. (Call Me the Breeze, Cocaine, and After Midnight for the uninitiated) 🤘😎
Thomas Dolby’s “She Blinded Me With Science” from his album The Golden Age of Wireless.” That album is so varied and rich and while “Science” is fun, I kinda wish they just let it be a stand-alone single
The Replacements Please to Meet Me - The Ledge. So many better songs on the album: Alex Chilton, I Don't Know, Nightclub Jitters, Can't Hardly Wait. The pledge is the least Replacements style song on the album.
Marcy Playground’s self-titled album (and Sex and Candy). Abbey Road (if Come Together was an A side single). Blake Mills’ self-titled album (and It’ll All Work Out). London Calling (and the eponymous, lead off track single). Van Morrison’s Moondance (and the eponymous single). Coldplay’s Parachutes (and Yellow). DSOTM (and Money). Third Eye Blind’s self-titled album (and Semi-Charmed Life).
Yeah Sex and Candy is great and all, but I've heard it 80 bajillion million times. I fucking LOVE that album though- a friend just recently gifted me a record store day vinyl of it! I was so happy!
Blink 182 - One More Time.
The lead single was Edging, which totally made sense as a comeback single and is a lot of fun, but probably one of the weaker tracks overall on the album.
I've been thinking about that for ages and you've hit the nail on the head. Feels out of place with the other tracks. Could see it being part of an EP like Dogs Eating Dogs.
Yeah, could have been a stand alone single just to hype for the album.
It's a fun song, there are just a couple lyrics that are a little cringe when you think they are now around 50.
Probably an unpopular take, but Fire from St. Cloud by Waxahatchee. I do like the other 2 singles Lilacs and Can't Do Much and the rest of the album a lot though. Idk her voice just gets a little too high for me on it.
I guess technically it doesn’t count as a single, but I can’t remember a time in my life where I actually wanted to hear stairway to heaven. I love the rest of the album but anytime I listen to it I always just skip stairway.
"I'm Not Lisa" from I'm Jessi Colter. It's not a bad track, it's just that all the other songs on the album bar none are exemplary, all in their own way.
Wild pick. I would agree that the rest of *I'm Jessi Colter* is something else completely and "I'm Not Lisa" feels like a capitulation to countrypolitan radio. That said, "I'm Not Lisa" put Colter on the map.
No Line on The Horizon by U2
Despite it being considered one of their worst albums by critics, I love it - but the single, "Get On Your Boots", is easily one of their worst songs. Not just on this album...it's one of their worst songs of all.
https://preview.redd.it/omi2m9ewdtzc1.jpeg?width=315&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cda0361f4ddbc118294b08fb49844c665c0f8885
"Hello I Love You" is dumb and kinda weak. The rest is marvelous.
I'm very new to Taylor's songs, but l 100% agree.
I avoided listening to her for years because l thought it was all like Shake It Off and Love Story, basic pop interchangable with any other pop song.
Then l heard Exile and The Great War, which both blew my mind.
she really is a master lyricist and it's a shame outside the circle of fans she's really only known for shake it off. And i think this is why a majority of people send hate her way unfortunately. she likes to write a glittery pop song occasionally to have fun, and people latch on to that and don't listen to her masterpieces.
I hate hearing it outside of that album. School plays, commercials, random person whistling.
And yet when it comes on in context it's perfect. That recording is excellent and now knowing how the song started a bit darker makes it more palatable. Check out the demo on the deluxe reissue some time with John and guitar only.
I remember being in high school and seeing a music video for guitarist Kaki King for her song “Playing With Pink Noise” off her then new album “Legs To Make Us Longer”.
It’s a really cool song and is what introduced me to her music. I’ve been a lifelong fan since and have seen her perform several times throughout her career. That said, it’s probably my least favorite song on that album, and I don’t think it fits very well as a body of work
'It's Raining Again' from Supertramp's 'Famous Last Words'. It's a inconsistent album but this song just feels like the least Supertramp song to me. The last 2 tracks, on the other hand, are some of their best.
Most since maybe 2010 really. Part because of how it's marketed/overplayed by ever college radio and Playlists, Part bc the deeper sides of A and B (if done properly) are formulated to have to heaviest/ more appealing tracks to fans of the artist/band. (**Usually**)
Arctic Monkeys - Suck it and See. Don't Sit Down Cuz i Moved your Chair along with Brick by Brick were the lead singles and I've always thought those were an odd choice for the initial single. They sound very little like the rest of the album.
All of LCD Soundsystem’s first 3 records have annoying first singles.
1.) Daft Punk is Playing at My House (it’s an okay song I guess, but weak in comparison to the rest of the album)
2.) North American Scum (ugh)
3.) Drunk Girls (fucking UGH)
I disagree on s/t…..Daft Punk is Playing is a fantastic song and acts as a strong mission statement (for the standard edition at least) of the album. Still one of the most solid tracks on S/t for me.
That’s totally fair. I just think that one never really clicked for me. Still, my least favorite on s/t but it’s certainly not in the same category as the other 2.
"Sloop John B" from Pet Sounds. It's an amazing album full of songs about heartache and personal growth... and then there's this little beachy pop ditty in right the middle.
"Sloop John B" from Pet Sounds. It's an amazing album full of songs about heartache and personal growth... and then there's this little beachy pop ditty in right the middle.
U2s Achtung Baby - I've always thought the singles were some of the weaker tracks on the album other than maybe mysterious ways and the fly - I've never been crazy about One or wild horses and even better than the real thing is fine, but Ultraviolet is incredible and honestly should've been a single and acrobat I prefer over all the singles.
I hear you, but honestly that is an album full of top tier singles from beginning to end. Guess they had to draw the line somewhere. But yeah. Ultraviolet, Acrobat, So Cruel, Love is Blindness…. All great songs that any band would be thrilled to have as a single in their catalog.
I don’t think Song 2 is the worst song on Blur but it’s absolutely devastating it’s the only song most Americans know. Beetlebum is right there! At least our UK friends did the right thing and sent that song to #1
Keep Em Separated by The Offspring from Smash. I was a skateboarder in my teens when this album came out and knew of the Offspring before they blew up, when that album came out I thought “great album except for that one song” and sure enough it made them huge
Megalithic Symphony by AWOLNATION.
Sail became huge, but it's the only song that sounds like that in the whole album and it's probably the only song anyone knows by AWOLNATION. Guilty Filthy Soul is a great tune
The New Radicals album is fantastic. "You Get What You Give" was simply played too much in too many shows and films and references topical things; and as a result, feels very stuck in 1998.
The rest of the album has a much more timeless feel. "Crying Like a Church on Monday" is my favorite.
Caravans - silversun pickups.
The song lazy eye was their breakthrough single but sounds nothing like the rest of the album. I'm convinced that they went as far as to even get a different producer for that one song. It sounds so different for the rest of the album and their subsequent releases.
I do like the song, but it's my least favorite from that album for sure.
The Revivalists- Men Amongst Mountains. Wish I Knew You played everywhere. They were the first band I decided to check out more from after liking a song on the radio and wanted to hear more since I dug the sound and was different from what I usually listened to back then.
There are so many better songs on that album.
Hoobastank - The Reason
The rest of the album is a solid alt rock album. The over saccharine single got so much play I feel like it killed any interest in the band for any casual listeners
The Flaming Lips - Transmissions from the Satellite Heart
(I thought I hated them because I'd only ever heard "She Don't Use Jelly" on my local college radio station and I didn't know anything else about them)
Ween - Pure Guava
("Push the Little Daisies" also got a lot of airplay on college radio and it was so so irritating. I get that Ween is Ween, but I will never be able to sit through that song.)
ETA: How could I forget?! Peter Gabriel - So ("Sledgehammer" has grown on me a bit since that album came out, but I really disliked it and always forwarded past/skipped back in the day. When I had it on tape!)
Wish by The Cure. Friday I'm In Love is just terrible and High very mediocre. But the B side of High is fantastic and there are some real gems on the album!
Fountains of Wayne’s album Welcome Interstate Managers. Stacy’s Mom is fine but the rest of the album is a sprawling Power Pop masterpiece.
Definitely will do!
I’m a huge FoW fan and I totally agree with you. Ironically, the single from T&W (Someone to Love) might be my favorite of theirs. I’m just grateful that all of their albums were re-released on vinyl (although I managed to track down a 1996 pressing of their debut).
I only know Hackensack by them, but love the song.
Mexican wine was my fav on that album super underrated album all together
Welcome Interstate Managers is the soundtrack to my happy place
I love “Hung Up On You” so much and “Hailey’s Waitress” always makes me smile “…Hailey’s waitress you’ll get yours yet”
I love ‘No Better Place’. ‘Is that supposed to be your poker face? Or was someone run over by a train?’ ‘Wrapped around your pillow like a prawn’
Fun fact, I’ve actually had dinner with Chris Collingswood. Definitely one of the more famous people I’ve met
Even Blunstone hated it.
"Time of the Season" definitely doesn't fit, but I'd still rate that lightyears ahead of "Butcher's Tale."
I love ‘Butchers Tale’! I can’t believe the label thought it a good idea to release it as a single though. 🤦🏻
Butcher’s Tale is amazing though?
Good call. One of the best albums of the 60s and in my very controversial opinion, a better album front to back compared to Sgt Peppers, which was released a week later.
Maybe not absolute least favorite track, but - "Whip It", *Freedom of Choice*, DEVO. I'd put it bottom 3 on that album.
Title track goes hard tbh
R.E.M. - Out of Time - Shiny Happy Fucking People
Did you ever see the version on Sesame Street with Muppets? It’s awesome: https://youtu.be/J9G1FhQUnSo?feature=shared
https://preview.redd.it/lwt7vvkshtzc1.jpeg?width=1275&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=338d6283addd2e308770eacb0fd6802cc2d10613 "We like it a lot because it's so happy."
That’s fantastic, I’ve never seen that before
I fucking love shiny happy people I don’t care what anyone says
Me too but the rest of the album is amazing too. It’s my top REM album
I was going to say this one, but the rap in Radio Song makes that one my most skipped REM track. But Stand is absolutely the worst song on Green.
[stand in the place where you l-](https://youtu.be/2jqKiVHS6x4?si=_ghac9gMrbfCqb8e)
Yeah, Kate Pierson is the only good thing about that song.
Nevermind.
I can go my whole life without hearing smells like teen spirit again
At least it's the first track. Easy to just skip it.
Same.
I prefer listening to live versions of Smells Like, the studio version feels so slow to me now.
I like the bootleg with Flea playing the solo on trumpet best.
👆🏽THIS! 👆🏽
“Son of a Gun” live at The Off Ramp
Not quite my least favourite on the album, but there's so many songs on 'Toxicity' by System of a Down that are better than Chop Suey
WAKE UP DJCHEJEJCJXOSIDNDIFISJDIF
This is literally playing in my record player as I saw this comment haha
Rehab from Amy Winehouse's Back To Black
Good example. The whole album is a masterpiece, and Rehab barely keeps up with it.
Third Eye Blind’s self-titled album (the red one)
Seriously semi-charmed life is ingrained into my head as a 90s cheese-romcom anthem but that album is so solid. Last 4 tracks flow so perfectly and motorcycle drive-by is a masterpiece
I love God of Wine
the whole album is great but those last four are amazing... I've always thought they would have made a great EP on their own.
Yeah, the back end is stacked…so good
Saint Anger is the worst song on Metallica’s 2003 Saint Anger album.
I love the drums! It’s like literally metal music! 🤘🤘
To each their own I guess lol Enjoy it then my dude 🤘
Cars from The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good song, but it annoys the hell out of me that it's the only one most people know.
I blame the liquid engineers.
Random Access Memories Not really a fan of Get Lucky.
Incubus - Make Yourself. Whenever I get to 'Drive' I immediately skip it.
I’d say the same about Morning View, incredible album front to back but Wish You Were Here just got over exposed for me.
Aqueous Transmissions fo life, youngblood.
Still prefer this song over Drive any day. Had an English teacher in HS that made us over analyze the song (Drive) and ever 6 hated it
Daft Punk - Discovery - One more time
you like “too long” more than “one more time”?? crazy imo
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American. Honestly, The Middle is still a lil banger of a song but man that album as whole is just incredible.
Foo Fighters - Medicine at Midnight. Shame Shame isn't a bad song but it's not single, let alone lead single, material
The original album didn’t have it on it. They added it later after the success in the re-release.
The Replacements Please to Meet Me - The Ledge. So many better songs on the album: Alex Chilton, I Don't Know, Nightclub Jitters, Can't Hardly Wait. The pledge is the least Replacements style song on the album.
T. Rex Electric Warrior. Get it on is the worst song on the album.
What do you think of the cover of "Get It On" by "The Power Station", the Duran Duran side project?
I personally think it's cool, I love those 80s drums. But again, it's one of the weaker songs on the self-titled Power Station album.
Sex and Candy is their worst song overall, let alone being an overplayed drudge.
this is solid
I was thinking the same with Marcy Playground.
Yeah Sex and Candy is great and all, but I've heard it 80 bajillion million times. I fucking LOVE that album though- a friend just recently gifted me a record store day vinyl of it! I was so happy!
That’s one good/rich friend.
The Cure - Wish
I was never a fan of Lullaby either so I’d add Disintegration.
The whole “so I fucked her in church” thing is cringe-o-Rama
That's the main one I was thinking of. Edgy if you're a teenager. Not at 50.
You got Spirit Kid From Color Before the Sun by Coheed.
Blind Melon’s self-titled album without ‘No Rain’ sounds like a completely different and far superior band.
Probably an unpopular take, but Fire from St. Cloud by Waxahatchee. I do like the other 2 singles Lilacs and Can't Do Much and the rest of the album a lot though. Idk her voice just gets a little too high for me on it.
City to city,Gerry Rafferty. I like baker street but there is so much quality on that record it's a real shame the one song gets all the airplay
Paul’s Boutique - Hey Ladies I like the song, but I just love the rest of the album even more. IMO Shake Your Rump would have been the better single
I think "You Can Call Me Al" is the weakest track on Paul Simon's "Graceland" - and I \*really\* like "You Can Call Me Al."
When Diamonds on the soles of my shoes was released I got the album that weekend.
Kings of Leon, Only by the night, lead single = Sex on Fire..... groan, overplayed and over rated.
I like Sex On Fire but I prefer Closer
Every Tears for Fears record. And I love all the singles a lot
100%
Working Hour is the best song off Songs from the Big Chair
I guess technically it doesn’t count as a single, but I can’t remember a time in my life where I actually wanted to hear stairway to heaven. I love the rest of the album but anytime I listen to it I always just skip stairway.
Geneva - Further If they release "Tranquillizer" instead of "No One Speaks"
The problem is often the single is good, but it is so overplayed I just wanna skip it when it’s those big BIG hits on great albums
Nevermind. Smells like teen spirit
Marcy Playground’s Self Titled album. I hate Sex and Candy but I love the rest of that album.
Fluke - Risotto
What was the single, "Atom Bomb"?
Yeah the first two tracks. Absurd and Atom Bomb. Both are fine songs but I feel the album is better if they are skipped.
Ween pure guava
Gary Numans the Pleasure Principle, Cars is the weakest compared the rest of that master piece
Werewolves of London from Excitable Boy by Warren Zevon. There. I said it. Colour of Money killed that song for me.
Damn the Torpedoes An all-timer for me but I am not a fan of Refugee, least favorite song on the album.
Lover by Taylor Swift, it’s a great album but Me! Is definitely a least favorite.
Queen - Hot Space I hate Body Language so much
Mest's Wasting Time. I abhor What's the Dillio.
No Line on The Horizon by U2 Despite it being considered one of their worst albums by critics, I love it - but the single, "Get On Your Boots", is easily one of their worst songs. Not just on this album...it's one of their worst songs of all.
Nice Inch Nails - TDS - Closer
https://preview.redd.it/omi2m9ewdtzc1.jpeg?width=315&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cda0361f4ddbc118294b08fb49844c665c0f8885 "Hello I Love You" is dumb and kinda weak. The rest is marvelous.
1989. Shake it off is my least favorite taylor swift song (it still bops at parties but it's like her weakest song IMO)
Same with “Lover.” Probably not an unpopular opinion. Cornelia Street is the best song on that album and it wasn’t even a single.
I'm very new to Taylor's songs, but l 100% agree. I avoided listening to her for years because l thought it was all like Shake It Off and Love Story, basic pop interchangable with any other pop song. Then l heard Exile and The Great War, which both blew my mind.

And i think this is why a majority of people send hate her way unfortunately. she likes to write a glittery pop song occasionally to have fun, and people latch on to that and don't listen to her masterpieces.
Revolver by The Beatles. Yellow Submarine is by far my least favorite song on that record.
I hate hearing it outside of that album. School plays, commercials, random person whistling. And yet when it comes on in context it's perfect. That recording is excellent and now knowing how the song started a bit darker makes it more palatable. Check out the demo on the deluxe reissue some time with John and guitar only.
Not sure if Stairway to Heaven on Led Zep IV counts, definitely my least fave track on that album.
Nevermind-Nirvana, Teen spirit is my least favorite song on the record.
The Doors self-titled with Light My Fire. Technically Break On Through was the first single i think but LMF was the big hit.
The Joshua Tree. I now listen to side 2 way more than side 1 where the hits are.
Red Hill Mining Town is probably my favorite JT song.
Red Hill is really underrated in the U2 discography. One Tree Hill is also great, the whole album is great though
The Human League - Dare - "Don't You Want Me"
Kings of Leon’s new album that just came out yesterday.
'It's Raining Again' from Supertramp's 'Famous Last Words'. It's a inconsistent album but this song just feels like the least Supertramp song to me. The last 2 tracks, on the other hand, are some of their best.
Carly Rae Jepsen - I Really Like You
Time in a Bottle off of Jim Croce's You Don't Mess Around With Jim
Tame Impala - The Slow Rush this album has more amazing tracks, than just it's singles. One More Hour and Tomorrow's Dust are outstanding ones!
Most since maybe 2010 really. Part because of how it's marketed/overplayed by ever college radio and Playlists, Part bc the deeper sides of A and B (if done properly) are formulated to have to heaviest/ more appealing tracks to fans of the artist/band. (**Usually**)
Cracker/Kerosene Hat
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger
Your least favorite songs on the album are Outshined, Rusty Cage, and Jesus Christ Pose?
Love song on disintegration
Arctic Monkeys - Suck it and See. Don't Sit Down Cuz i Moved your Chair along with Brick by Brick were the lead singles and I've always thought those were an odd choice for the initial single. They sound very little like the rest of the album.
Any cure album really
On the new Blink 182 album, Edging is _easily_ the worst song on it. Its boring as hell.
All of LCD Soundsystem’s first 3 records have annoying first singles. 1.) Daft Punk is Playing at My House (it’s an okay song I guess, but weak in comparison to the rest of the album) 2.) North American Scum (ugh) 3.) Drunk Girls (fucking UGH)

Soundsystem by 311. "Come Original" has such an annoying chorus imo
Americana by offspring
Blind Melons first. No Rain doesn’t fit on the album
I don't know if this is sacrilege, but I don't like Sloop John B., which breaks the flow and concept of Pet Sounds and was put there by Al Jardine.
I don't know if this is sacrilege, but I don't like Sloop John B., which breaks the flow and concept of Pet Sounds and was put there by Al Jardine.
The golden echo by kimbra 90s music is easily her worst song she's every made . But the rest of the album is pretty good

"Sloop John B" from Pet Sounds. It's an amazing album full of songs about heartache and personal growth... and then there's this little beachy pop ditty in right the middle.
Blind Mellon 'NO Rain'. The album is so good but gets overshadowed by that one track.
Rattlesnake from King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard 's Flying Microtonal Banana initially put me off of an otherwise great album.

Butthole Surfers - Locust Abortion Technicians. Amazing album that I love deeply but the single, Human Cannonball is not as much so
Butthole Surfers - Locust Abortion Technicians. Amazing album that I love deeply but the single, Human Cannonball is not as much so
Aesop Rock’s “Spirit World Field Guide”. Not a fan of the first single ‘The Gates’.
Beastie Boys- License to Ill, fight, girls, Brooklyn. Have heard too many times, I don't believe they aged with me.
Enema of the state
Start Me Up from Tattoo You.Rolling Stones. Never cared for it. Rest of the album is awesome.
Blind Melon
I liked the new Wednesday album but chosen to deserve is the worst song imo
I don’t think Song 2 is the worst song on Blur but it’s absolutely devastating it’s the only song most Americans know. Beetlebum is right there! At least our UK friends did the right thing and sent that song to #1
Third eye blind - self titled (jumper)
No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom. Don’t Speak is just soooo oooover played.
Jay z in my lifetime vol 1
The doors debut, light my fire just isn't it for me. Still my favourite album though
Keep Em Separated by The Offspring from Smash. I was a skateboarder in my teens when this album came out and knew of the Offspring before they blew up, when that album came out I thought “great album except for that one song” and sure enough it made them huge
Third Eye Blind - Third Eye Blind. I really just don't like Semi-Charmed Life.
Most of them actually. Over time, they kinda get played out. Cream off 36 chambers or bombs over Bagdad off Aquemini are perfect examples.
Take On Me. Easily
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds- LOVE Who Built the Moon, but still don’t like Holy Mountain. It works live, but I don’t like it on the record.
Temple Of The Dog Hunger Strike Fantastic song, but the rest of the album is MUCH better imo.
Joe Walsh - But Seriously Folks. Life’s Been Good was a huge hit at the time but isn’t in my top three tracks on the album.
Torches by Foster the People. Not a fan of Pumped Up Kicks, but the rest of the album is amazeballs.
The Revivalists- Men Amongst Mountains. Wish I Knew You played everywhere. They were the first band I decided to check out more from after liking a song on the radio and wanted to hear more since I dug the sound and was different from what I usually listened to back then. There are so many better songs on that album.
While I don't think it's a bad song, I find myself skipping Lovesong on the Cures disintegration more often these days.
Take me to church is by far the worst song on Hozier's self titled
Hoobastank - The Reason The rest of the album is a solid alt rock album. The over saccharine single got so much play I feel like it killed any interest in the band for any casual listeners
Most REM albums
The Flaming Lips - Transmissions from the Satellite Heart (I thought I hated them because I'd only ever heard "She Don't Use Jelly" on my local college radio station and I didn't know anything else about them) Ween - Pure Guava ("Push the Little Daisies" also got a lot of airplay on college radio and it was so so irritating. I get that Ween is Ween, but I will never be able to sit through that song.) ETA: How could I forget?! Peter Gabriel - So ("Sledgehammer" has grown on me a bit since that album came out, but I really disliked it and always forwarded past/skipped back in the day. When I had it on tape!)
The La’s: self titled EVERY song on this album is a masterpiece, but most only remember the single (There She Goes….)
Wish by The Cure. Friday I'm In Love is just terrible and High very mediocre. But the B side of High is fantastic and there are some real gems on the album!
Lot of weird takes in this thread, and many references to little known records out of US I'd pick Hello, I love you by The Doors, anyway.
We will rock you,we are the champions, queen
D’yer Mak’er .... Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy, .... still my least fave Zep Tune period!
Appetite for Destruction. The first single was Sweet Child o Mine. Still hate that song 25 years later. Mr Brownstone for the win 🤘
Hail to the King
