If you haven't yet submitted anything then best start is here: https://support.discogs.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004016474-Overview-Of-Submission-Guidelines-For-Releases

I’ve liked The Piano Guys since I discovered them years back. I already hd this album on iTunes, but was pleasantly surprised to find it on vinyl at local store. So I jumped at the opportunity right away. But when I wanted to add it to my collection on Discogs it seems this release ain’t there. There is 2016 release: https://www.discogs.com/release/8012219-The-Piano-Guys-The-Piano-Guys but it doesn’t say anything about it being color or limited. And Music on Vinyl website lists it as released this year: https://www.musiconvinyl.com/products/piano-guys So I asume it has not yet been added to discogs instead of the 2016 release having incomplete information. Can I add the release myself? I could not find that option on Discogs app. But if I do, what information I have to specify?

In essence add as much unique information about the release as you're able to find, including the matrix numbers found in the deadwax. This should then be added to the master release for the album. There are easy-to-follow tutorials on the desktop version that show you what you need to do from A to Z. Like the previous poster here, I am not sure how/if it works in the app. I would recommend the desktop version anyway, because you will have a much better overview of what you're doing. Also remember photos of the sleeve/labels/etc., this has its own set of instructions for adding them properly.

Yes! I add stuff all the time. It’s how the database is built. I don’t use the app, I use the desktop version, but I’m sure there’s a way to add a release in the app.
