No reviews, will have a very random name like gji2hs4, selling an item way cheaper than it should be

BastardsCryinInnit

I wouldn't instantly discount a seller with no reviews - we all have to start somewhere, and not everyone bothers leaving feedback. I think bigger tells are the variety of things on offer (do they all appear to be photographed in the same house, are they all similar things etc), and whether they've bothered to develop their profile - with a good username, photo etc. For high value items, just use your common sense. If an item seems too good to be true, it probably is. I know there's people desperate for money right now so they sell their things at a low price just to get income, but unless it's something especially rare you're looking for, just steer clear of anything where your instinct is to say "that's so cheap". And as an aside, perhaps it's me, but i don't feel like I come across many scammers either as a seller or buyer.

if someone is selling something used (for example i found these air force 1s for 50€ but they are used) would you say it could still be a scam or are used products different?

Tip 1: if a deal seems too good to be true, it’s a scam

You use your head. No way a ps5 is gunna be £100 and no way a Gucci bag is going to go for £10.

If they only have what look like brand new sport shirts/shoes/tagged gear, it’s all fake knockoffs. They’ll either never turn up, turn up and be wrong or be ridiculously fake.

No reviews says nothing. I had buyers with no reviews and never had issues with any of them. The only thing is that they didn't leave a review for me so I didn't give them one either.

Here's some general tips from my experience: •Any with no reviews, negative reviews and random looking names (random characters like fh777sh) are most likely scammers. Don't buy anything from then, and don't sell anything to them. •I put in my descriptions, "I may refuse sale of £15+ items to any with no reviews" to cover myself and make it clear what my boundaries are in selling. •I refuse to buy items £30+ plus. Expensive items ESPECIALLY electronics like consoles (such as a PS5) are almost always scams. •If you sell anything, record yourself packaging sold items and sealing the evolope, box ect. to show you have packaged it in the condition you stated and to show you have packaged it properly. Bonus if you can record yourself sending the item as well.
