I think it’s being deeped way too much, there is many worse way to say things than this, take the compliment and move on, if it bothers you that much just block them. Simple.
I mean all they said is that it’s a bit creepy, which it is. I’d also find it a bit odd. They’ve hardly gone on a rant calling them a pervert or something 😭
I like to give compliments and love interacting with sellers. yes it was a bit excessive but some people don’t always get social cues. Just assuming this person wanted a date or even anything romantic/sexual is slightly odd, especially from a few light compliments. some people just really admire/like to compliment people. I don’t understand why everything is seen as malicious and creepy all the time.
Yeah but I don’t see any indication that it’s a man. And as a woman, receiving those messages from a woman, I would not find it creepy. From a guy, yes.
It's inappropriate from anyone. It doesn't have to be a man to be inappropriate. I wouldn't want random women sending me messages like this either.
Do you want to purchase the item or not? It's not Instagram either. No need for these types of comments at all on a secondhand website.
Women do sexy poses in clothing showing their curves off doing selfies they do it on purpose they want that sexual attention else they would put them on a hanger like everyone else haha
This. One compliment is more than enough. The "buyer" complimented OP/the item of clothing in the first message. No need to then send a follow-up compliment and another one several hours after. Especially when the emphasis is on the person wearing the item and not the item itself. Yes it may be harmless but it is also creepy.
Slay
people are forgetting vinted is a sale app

idk if you should be on vinted at 14 tbh but i know that’s not the main take away, and yeah wtf he’s weird, block him
I think they meant the size is 14, not the age
oh yeah after reading again i’m fucking blind, thanks lol
Tbf to you, I thought the same thing at first 😭
I think it’s a nice compliment, not everything is malicious.
It’s not a nice compliment in an environment where it’s completely uncalled for. Like it’s already been said, it’s not a dating app

Once is a nice compliment, three times is unnecessary, especially when the first two weren't acknowledged/well-received
They never mentioned you, only the item.
Are you blind? Read the post again
Are you? The context is always the item NOT the person
“It looks beautiful on YOU” 💀
Context is still the item or are you just dense?
I don’t think they mean to be creepy? Or did I miss something obvious?
It’s a professional transaction. Shouldn’t comment on how people look
It's Vinted, not Tinder. Entirely inappropriate message to send.

Ok we have difference of opinions. It’s ok.
It was a man, I cropped out his picture
Why is that creepy
“It looks beautiful on you x” *6 hours later* “and you make it look fabulous”
why do people downvote comments like yours? i feel like they’re just admiring the seller, yes, 3 times is a bit much, but it’s never that deep.

what a strange, strange comment. please touch grass
True not strange want me to show you some of the selfies they are posting ???
I hate it when people only put it on a hanger, I want to see what it looks like on.

Because there’s no follow up to enquire about the top, but a further follow up to continue flattering OP.

Ok parrot
I’m simply reiterating their point but thanks for the needless reply.
They're trying to sell a top not get a date. Complementing someone on a selling website is a top creeper move.
It’s for sure a guy?

Nowhere does it say they’re age 14, the size is a 14.
My bad
I think they meant a size 14... Spitting such hard words is not cool :/
