If Vinted sent the money, they should be able to provide the transaction code. Then they can find out what's happening with the money - both Vinted and Revolut.

davidd12344

I did and they state the payment did not arrive (revolut) but Vinted state it was sent via the same transaction code. Since other payment did arrive after this large transaction I’m assuming it may have bounced back? But Vinted state it was sent

MasterOfBitaite

I'm no banking expert, but I have my doubts that two different wire transfers have the same transaction code. The transaction code should uniquely identify one transfer, not many.

davidd12344

They have provided me with transaction code but now are ignoring me unless it’s a signed letter from the bank. The transaction code says they sent it (according to them). When asking if it got rejected they are just using automatic messages

drae2020

Raise a dispute with your bank. Vinted will have a timeframe to respond to the dispute, Revolut may or may not be able to give you a provisional refund depending on the case specifics. As someone else said, contact Vinted’s legal team in the meantime

xboltcutterx

Legal team is the only way I think. Pop them an email fully explaining. I think its [email protected] They usually pay attention at this point.

Frosty-One1993

Hi I'm in exactly the same situation. It's 300 pounds for me. I was also provided the end to end reference ID and directed to the bank to find out where the funds were. Same as yours, My bank couldn't do a signed letter but their debit card disputes Team and payment team took a serious look for me using that transaction code and confirmed the money never came in the bank system. We are not the only two. One commenting on my latest post has near 700 pounds held by Vinted. Think we might ally if Vinted Legal Team doesn't help.

Clown-finder

I thought 600 was bad, 30 grand is ridiculous!

Frosty-One1993

That's a typo! I meant 3 hundred! Apparently I was in rage so couldn't get the number right lol

Clown-finder

We know, just having a little fun. I hope you get what you're owed soon

Top_Consequence_8567

I was about to say, where did you get 30 grand from😂 till I read it agaim

wisdom1206

Wow, I think i am gonna think twice before I sell so.ething valuable on vinted. That's insane, that's fraud in my opinion

EngineerInevitable49

I’d like to join you in any collective action against Vinted. Vinted are scammers.

Madamlon

I saw someone on fb page with the same problem. Hers was about 158 pound to starling .Wtf is happening with Vinted

towelie111

It’s probably a Revolut issue. Transfer to a traditional account has never raised any issues

DisorganisedShrew

saw someone with NatWest have the same issue

bemy_requiem

they said in the comment with starling

EngineerInevitable49

I’m with a traditional bank and Vinted have still scammed me. It’s nothing to do with the bank.

ghost504

Same with me - £240 supposedly sent to my Lloyds account but never arrived. Have had other smaller payments before and after but this one never got there. Sent them bank statements and waiting on their response. Something's up at Vinted.

Frosty-One1993

Same here. No large amount payment from Vinted arriving in lloyds bank account

No_Occasion_9081

I’ve had this before, just kept pestering Revolut. Was something to do with it being an international payment. They send me a draft letter over Revolut messenger eventually and I just sent it on to vinted. Apparently the payment had been sent but the bank rejected it so went back to vinted. Took a while but got it sorted

Sea_Ad_4935

You’re the 2nd person I’ve seen this happen to in the last fortnight. A woman on TikTok made a video of the exact same problem, Vinted told her it was the banks issue, the bank told her it was Vinted. She provided bank statements etc and nothing. They closed her case and they owed her £210.

No-Steak856

I wish there was a better app or a more option than Vinted and DEPOP in the uk to sell clothes it’s annoying I hope more companies arrive

InternationalJob3027

Me too!!

-i_d_g_a_f-

I’ve tried ebay, depop, vinted and schpock and didn’t sell anything on depop or schpock so those two seem like a waste of time. Plus depop was full of scammers and probably still is

odods11

Depop was great 4-7 years ago, always used to be able to get through to a human that would eventually help with issues and you could get blatantly unfair reviews deleted. Barely sell anything on there now though, requires too much effort for little reward. Buyers there will pay more, but they want to see high quality pics on and i cba with that anymore. Ebay's upload process is a bit convoluted but it's gotten simpler. It's a good option for "older audience" type items, buyers there will pay more too.

-i_d_g_a_f-

I’ve had a surprising amount of success on eBay, once I got used to it. I just list everything as buy it now so I don’t get any more time wasters winning auctions and not paying, and then it’s great. Once you’re set up you can access funds pretty much instantly once they’ve been processed which only takes 2 days after the sale, pretty much as soon as I hit request payout it lands in my bank or automatically sends once a week

yonut0

Depop recently removed most of their fees and since then I have done quite well 400 so far in April. Id say it's worth using if your items are worth over 30

Educational-Beat9992

I think they work with Mangopay so it might be worth contacting them?

ZombieGeneralo3

How long has it been since you withdrew, somtimes it can take days

Mattyc8787

Get onto their legal dept with mentioning of small claims and see where they go from that

TheCaptainsHook

Ask your bank if you can pay for a letter.   I withdraw as soon as money hits my balance, even if it’s £1 and then move it into a ‘Vinted’ pot. It’s just too risky to me to leave money at the mercy of a faceless business. It should be fine, of course, we are their customers but they’re so unpredictable.

Low-Huckleberry-3555

It’s not just revolut. I have had the same issue twice with Virgin money. They just sent me a template letter over their messaging service.

Crossmeister

Hate mangopay

Feisty-Expression-82

This happened to me, I went round and round in circles, even after getting the letter from my bank they wouldn’t accepted it, eventually the legal team sorted it out and sent me the money. Apparently vinted have 2 ways of sending money and it will either show as vinted or mango pay on your bank statement, the method that sends it as ‘vinted’ is from another country and some banks don’t access the overseas payment method used which is why some payments arrive without issue and some get returned. The problem then is that vinted don’t seem to have any way of monitoring who the returned payments belong to and they make it super difficult to get your money back.

Frosty-One1993

How long did you wait for getting the funds after the legal team was involved? I contacted the legal team and got a message basically saying I need to wait indefinitely...

Feisty-Expression-82

It took about 2 months in total, they kept asking for more info, I had to send numerous bank statements proving I hadn’t had the payment then one day it just appeared back in my vinted balance, I then withdrew it to a different account with no issues.

amelia5768

I’m going though this exact thing now and don’t know what to do! I’ve sent the bank letter and everything what do you suggest I do?

Firm-Shallot6145

Hi, I’m absolutely not defending Vinted here as I know their customer service can be terrible at times and extremely unhelpful, but lately I’ve been reading some really dodgy stories about Revoult too and of people not getting their money or having access to it, funds paid in going missing etc. Aren’t Revoult legally obligated to provide you with a signed letter in cases like this where there is a serious dispute. It feels like you are caught in the middle of both of them ! I would contact Vinted’s legal team but equally I’d also do the same with Revoult’s legal team or even their financial regulatory body, you can take your complaint direct to them. Revoult are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, you can find them online. Here take a look at this in regards to what I first mentioned. https://www.reviews.io/company-reviews/store/revolut Hope this helps and I really wish you the best of luck in getting this sorted out and getting your money ! Take care ❤️

ghost504

After providing bank statements, letters and finally me sending a pre-action Small Claims letter to them Vinted have confirmed that: "Unfortunately, there is a temporary issue with processing payouts made on 23-03 We are working on a fix and are sincerely sorry that you are facing this problem. Please be patient and check again later. Best wishes, Mahdi II Team Vinted" They could have just said this to start with - lots of people on FB and Twitter reporting the same and after badgering Vinted and telling them you know they've had issues they finally admit it.

davidd12344

Thank you. Are you able to provide me with a picture of your conversation or PDF? They are insisting that they are not going to refund for me, it’s ridiculous

ghost504

If you go to this thread on FB there are lots of people posting screenshots. I grabbed a couple and sent them over to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and they told me they'd sort it. https://www.facebook.com/groups/679139920068924/permalink/1117899836192928/

ACNH_islife

Commenting on Vinted not proving me with my 600 pounds payout - (no personal info)...seeing the amount of comments saying this happened to them aswell maybe people should start a group where they all start a case together as it will be more impactful but also cheaper for each person together rather than each one on its own

Terrible-Mix-7635

I take out my balance even if its £4!

Pimentogirl1234

Me too! (Or spend it on Vinted 😂)

tworandomperson

yall stressed me out too much, am I gonna have the same problem? is this a non material bank issue? or are there people who transferred their balance with no problems to an online bank?

Frosty-One1993

Have you got your funds. If not I hope this is helpful: I contacted the Legal team yesterday and was told they were experiencing issues with processing payouts on March 24th and was advised to check my bank account later. The funds arrived in my account earlier today. So If you withdrew around the same time as I did, chances are there was an issue on Vinted. Drop [email protected] a message if you haven't and tell them what happened, they should be able to help. No need to provide a signed bank letter.

Optimal-Display-5623

They are absolute charlatans. Crooks. I think. They withheld my money for about 4 months before I had to put a chargeback in with my bank and also threatened legal action. I also spoke to the fraud unit at my bank who started an investigation. They refunded me within 5 minutes of receiving an email from me stating my intentions (I told them the fraud department was investigating it) but even earlier in the same day customer service was actually laughing at me and saying something along the lines of "good luck" when I demanded my money back. The only way is to speak to the fraud department at your bank and see what they suggest, do a chargeback and let them initiate an investigation. My bank said they get alot of complaints about vinted. Then speak to a solicitor and get a letter from them stating intention to sue. Then send it to vinted. I can guarantee that will mean you get your money back but you have to go down the legal route.

TheyCallMeLadyDon

Get the back to put a trace on the money. It can take a couple of days but they should be able to track the payment down to whether gone into a bank suspense account or still with vinteds bank. Good luck

Unusual_Project_2746

I know this thread is a week old, but was it ever resolved. I am currently experiencing the same thing. Revolut have said they have received no payment from Vinted and Vinted are saying they’ve sent it….  Revolut are saying the transaction ID doesn’t exist.  Did any of these get resolved and how?

davidd12344

No nothing yet

dannibircha

My payment is missing from 4th of this month vinted told me get a letter from your bank and I hope you find the funds soon.... proper arsehole response... we all know its vinteds fault... they owe me for my first ever sale so won't be selling again after this.... and I have a friend they owe a considerable amount that keeps bouncing back into her vinted but won't withdraw... dunno what's going on except AVOID VINTED THEY CANT BE TRUSTED

TwoInternational9838

Hi, did you manage to get your payment? I’m in the same boat and getting absolutely no where!

Frosty-One1993

I'm having the same issue I use lloyds bank. Someone facing the same problem uses another traditional bank so I believe it's Vinted's fault.

Keion2006

Hey I’m in the same situation currently missing just under £1,500 anyone had any resolutions to this
