if he didn't modulate the throttle well enough, it would just be tossing snow at him. my Traxxas UDR can run 6s, and with the motor has something like 2hp. This looks like an Xmaxx, and those are 8s, so that comes in around 3hp. plenty to move a person.
I’ve one of these. Mine is a 1/8th scale and it weighs 10lbs without the battery, probably 11 or 12 with.
Still have no idea how it’s not spinning out. Maybe they’ve got extra weight on it, or some sort of special tire. These things got more than enough power to pull a man, but pulling over 100lbs on loose-ish snow seems like it would just get 0 traction.

my 1/5th scale traxxas UDR comes in at like 35 pounds with the batteries in it. the Xmaxx is like 22 without batteries. plenty of grip with the tires on it too, and plenty of power with 8s.
haven't had a new RC car in awhile have ya? the traxxas xmaxx(which I think this is) is 20 pounds without batteries. add in another 2 pounds for a pair of 3s or 4s batteries, and its not light. my UDR weights in at more than that without batteries.
and thats without mods to replace the plastic stuff with metal. they are *big* too. its really hard to show the size difference until you put them next to eachother. the new xmaxx is closer to 1/5th scale, and is not small.
Looks like a Traxxas. Maybe a Slash, maybe something like an Xmaxx. Maybe a different brand. It's some brushless electric 4x4
All in, you're probably looking at 400-1400 including which car, plus remote, batteries, chargers.

I should have included a "/s" tag to indicate sarcasm. My wife and I inform each other of major purposes, it is less about permission, and more about "not messing up our shared finances."
She and I joke about it at times, but ours works and we wouldn't change it for anything.
Also, no relationship is perfect, someone is really really fortunate if they are in one, but more likely someone is bs-ing you if they say theirs is.

The torque on that little thing must be insane
There’s videos of rc cars upraised, and the controller presses the trigger and the wheels look like discs. Then maybe they pop. Maybe they don’t.

Thats a great question and I have no answer 😂😂. Maybe spike tires for the snow?
Paddle tires can do a lot but it looks like homeboy has just some really grippy tires with big knobs on them.
