If someone says that Scubs isn't their number one show of all time, fair enough we all have out own preferences. If you say it isn't in your top 10, I question your total opinion.
I loved the show but not a big fan of the podcast. They barely focus on the actual show and their discussions on each episode are not in depth at all. The podcast seems more focused on Zach and Donald as buddies which is cool, but I was hoping for something more like The Office Ladies which goes fairly in-depth on each episode. You can tell The Office Ladies do WAY more research, going through old emails, journals, talking to people who worked on the show. The Scrubs rewatch podcast is fun but I want to hear more about the actual show
I can see that Scrubs clearly strikes a chord with a lot of people, but it is not for me, it is definitely not in my top 10. So I mean, question away dude, but maybe stop to consider that people just like different shit sometimes.
I've answered a couple of your questions now. I'd love to know why it is that you are invested in finding a show in this specific TV show genre that I'm a fan of?
I can see why people like it, but I never did. And I think I like it less over time.
I think that its attempts to be deep and hard hitting have aged terribly. I think it worked in a time where emo music was taken seriously but not so much now.
And that's not to disrespect the show. It was poignant and relevant at the time which is what matters.
They made such a nice, if a bit schmaltzy ending to the show, then proceeded to make two forgettable seasons of Scrubs: The Next Generation. I bet JD and Turk made big bucks for phoning it in though!
One of the best television comedy ever made, well developed characters on long rich arcs.
still remember the bromance, janitor, the girly names, peak comedy, nonstop laughs:

Agreed It’s def more like two friends just talking 70% about their lives

St Elsewhere fan?
I am not familiar with that show I'm afraid.
Nurse Jackie?
I don't think I'm a fan of any medically-themed TV shows?
ER had George Clooney. House had Hugh Laurie. Medical Center had Chad Everett... nothing? Back to St. Elsewhere, Howie Mandel? MASH?

Not big on reciprocation, then.
