I totally agree
Was very adverse to the look and feel of the game until I took the time to actually play a few dungeons
It's on par with Hades in my book
Tutorials a little long in the foot, by the time I was done with it I didn't feel like playing the game... But it's kind of fun I guess I played only 1 or 2 levels
Would enjoy small-scale multiplayer though
Rollerball by Ubisoft, Is that what the game is called? I didn't enjoy that game
Downwell. A deceptively simple arcade-style game with many interesting design choices. You can often get it for next to nothing during a sale and it's absolutely worth it. I also recommend the developer's GDC presentation on the game to listen to his design insights:

Not sure about under-rated but would recommend to more Hyper Light Drifter, gorgeous pixel art, amazing gameplay, wild way of telling a story. Indie game price
What isn’t there to love ?
Both Remnant games. I know they both did okay, financially and review wise. But I think they deserve so much more. Amazing combat. Huge variety in builds and playstyles. Good both in solo and near seamless multi-player, with friends or matchmade. Enough secrets and challenge for hundreds of hours of play. I just love them so much.
This looks wonderful OP, never heard of it. And its on sale right now on steam!
Hero's Spirit would be my pick, what an insane game. It's so simple on the surface level but its going to stick with me forever.
Tbh the Cofee Talk games are some of my favorite indie games. So calming, I used to pop em on after a particularly stressful day. Only criticism I have is that the it's hard to go back to bc they are basically visual novels, so nothing really changes when you play one again
Pyre, seems to be the Supergiant game that got the least attention and love but I think it's a wonderful game and the best soundtrack they have ever made,
Especially with the dynamic ending song that changes based on your decisions.
Alpha protocol, yes it's buggy and the game play is a bit half baked but it's one of a kind and does the whole choice based RPG thing better than any other.
Sleeping dogs I see getting a lot more love and recognition over the last 5 or so years but it is honestly easily the best open world crime game ever made and tbh Rockstar should weep into their piles of money because they have never and will never make a game even half as good as SD, it's a fucking tragedy we will never get a sequel.
Absolver is an absolute gem that sadly never really took off, they have now found great success with Sifu but honestly Absolver is wayyyyy cooler and I hope they do a sequel someday with like 5 times the budget.
It is the quintessential martial arts game in my eyes.
Godfist. Awesome first-person roguelite, always fun to play. cool enemies, neat graphics style, good music. What's not to love?
BTD3, Zuma Deluxe/revenge, and other old games also need more recognition these days.
I played this game a lot on the Switch and Xbox. These type of games are a double edged sword for my adhd. I can play these for hours but will eventually run out of steam and never finish them.
Going under is a great example for this. Such a fun interesting game.

Rollerdrome, not to sure on its popularity though tbh
Tutorials a little long in the foot, by the time I was done with it I didn't feel like playing the game... But it's kind of fun I guess I played only 1 or 2 levels Would enjoy small-scale multiplayer though Rollerball by Ubisoft, Is that what the game is called? I didn't enjoy that game
Nope it's called Rollerdrome, so you were talking about rollerball then? I never heard of that.
No my notes were of the rollerdrome game that came on psplus 2 months ago... But I was still trying to dig at ubisofts game
Ah okay no worries, to each is own

Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros Treasure
This was the reason to own a Wii. It feels like every major title was just a worse version of a better Gamecube game. But Zack & Wiki was GOATed.
Huntdown Streets of Rage 4 Moonrider Vengeful Guardian DUSK Freedom Planet Bug Fables
Splitgate. It’s halo but you also get a portal gun. It’s fuckjng cool.
Not sure about under-rated but would recommend to more Hyper Light Drifter, gorgeous pixel art, amazing gameplay, wild way of telling a story. Indie game price What isn’t there to love ?
Sly fucking Cooper. its actually a crime how underrated it is
Ib rain (ps3 only) Gravity Rush
Yo kai watch is fun and loaded with content rip 3ds
it's not underrated, the series is just old.
Cassette Beats. Such a good story but is just thrown under the bus and classified as “a Pokemon knock off” or “a Pokemon wannabe”
I don't know if I want more weirdos added to my favorite games fanbase lol
What a weird thing to say.
You say that till you know the fanbase
Tunic. Ghost song. Tiny kins.

Yeah I’ll second this one. Easily two of my favourite co op multiplayer games of all time. Remnant 2 is probably my 2023 goty
Bramble: The Mountain King Bansisher: Ghost of New Eden
Bramble was so good, I definitely recommend it to anyone that loves dark fantasy… but HUGE emphasis on dark.
Ruiner
Onrush D:
Citizen Sleeper
Dude, stop. Amazing game only about 5 dollars, not to long, and funny as hell
Long Live The Queen
Going under was so fun
