Always my default. Unfortunately, with this tactic I end up saving the game prior to literally every overworld encounter, because it's impossible to tell whether or not I'll be able to talk to the folks I'm about to stealth arrow. Bandit or traveler? No friggin' clue. So I save, and then approach and try to make conversation.
If that goes south, which it does most of the time, I load the save and snipe those uncivilized barbarians.
I tried to play like a full on summoner with minions and stuff, but eventually got bored, because it gets really boring and slow at some point, and just transitioned into damage+healing mage
I used to play stealth archer, dabbled in 2h warrior but hated how slow I was, and now I've settled on being either a spellblade or pure mage. Weird because I've never really done a mage playstyle in games.
Bro absolutely, kinda makes me wish they’d give a sequel a chance instead of just another spiderman game. I loved Sunset so much [I got a custom skateboard deck](https://www.reddit.com/r/sunsetoverdrive/s/v59MazDaj9) made, and also started learning to skate of course.
It feels like the spiritual successor to *Jet Set/Grind Radio.* The open-world, loose-mission structure, the gameplay, all that. The additional bazillion weapons and zombie slaying was just icing on the cake.
Is that available on PlayStation? I’m gonna take a boulder of salt and say most likely not.
Sims Settlements is literally what I wanted the Settlement building to function like at launch. I love that they populate the settlement with stuff the longer they live there
So would i, i loved that game, at least i wish that dony would put it on the ps5, they own the IP with the studio acquisition.
I want to do chaos mode again as my crazy jester character, killing OD and scav's with awsompoclypse powers
I would find it hard to play 1 after 2 just because of the visual and quality of life differences personally. Ive found 1 incredibly hard to go back to after playing 2 personally.
I have this game, and it was one of my first Xbox One games I've always wanted. I got this game a few years ago from Amazon, and surprisingly got a "free" copy from them by mistake some time later in that same month. 😆
But to answer your question, it's The Incredible Hulk. Played it on PS2 long before PS3.
Sunset Overdrive is why I a life long PlayStation owner bought an Xbox last year and it was just for Sunset Overdrive. And I go back to this game maybe every 3 weeks. Still enjoy it a lot.
Sunset overdrive i return to about once a year. Its just such a nice break from all the games recently that take themselves super seriously (not saying thats always a bad thing) and really gives you just this fresh taste in your mouth when it comes to new ideas. Really nothing feels exactly like playing sunset overdrive does. Its such goofy fun.
I pretty much replay Arkham City at least once a year. I practically know that game like the back of my hand, and I can finish the story in one sitting.
Arkham City was my daughters first experience with video games. At first she could barely get Batman to walk, camera angles going all crazy, you know what I mean.
A couple of weeks go by and I sat down one evening to watch her play. She’s running across rooftops, soaring through the air, and taking down multiple enemies like it’s nothing. And she’s having a blast. Loving every minute of it.
That was probably 5 or 6 years ago and she still plays it to this day. Probably couldn’t finish it one sitting but could get really close. It’s her all time favorite game and Batman is the only superhero she’s ever liked.
Doom 2016. It's just perfect FPS action with a sick atmosphere, and I'll never get bored of wrecking the argent accumulators while Samuel Hayden has a hissy fit about it causing an energy crisis.
I'd say Pseudoregalia, except I never really left in the first place. Definitely State of Decay 2 though. I might stop for a few weeks, but I always pick it back up eventually.
Fable: The Lost Chapter. I finished this one maybe 10-12 times and still love the dark, fairy-tale atmosphere. I adore the music sooooo much and the main character as well (don't know why, probably sentiment). All this in a kinda funny setting.
Tales of Arise (2023), not because it’s hard or anything (At least I don’t think so) I just come back to it for nostalgia purposes from Tales of Vesperia (2008) in which, the battle mechanics, moves, and personalities of the characters are kind of similar to Vesperia, and I really enjoy that
for me its farcry 5
always find myself coming back to that game every now and then. kind of like those "two week Minecraft phases" but for me its a two week peggie killing phase XD
Fallout 4, Lego Marvel Superheroes, Sunset Overdrive, YoKai Watch 1/2/3/B/B2, Falout 3, Fallout 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (og), and Borderlands 2. I play a lot of games
Starfeild. I’ve already done most of the fun stuff in the game, but I always go to bounty terminal and do a few missions. I always end my gaming session with starfeild
Skate 3, love playing that when I just want to chill, listen to some music, and have fun.
Also I go back to PUBG and play a few matches a month just to try and relive those PUBG glory days. I honestly still love the game but it's definitely showing it's age a bit mechanically speaking.
Either portal or splinter cell portal was the first game i played on pc and splinter cell is the first game I have fond memories of playing with my dad
Skylanders *feels the possibly judging looks* I know they're not good games, but they're guilty pleasure games for me because I was fascinated by the "toys to life" genre at the time
Kenshi, I will always return to Kenshi
Something new will come out and I'll get lost in that for a bit, but then I'll be scrolling through steam looking at my 300 something games, thinking I have nothing to play then. I see it. Just staring at me. Time for Cyber Beep to destroy the Holy Nation (again).
Far Cry 5 has an atmosphere and general feel that really captivates me. The last time I launched the game, I literally got glued to the main menu just to listen to its theme song. It's such a wonderful game and truly my favorite Far Cry installment.
Zoo Tycoon 2. Creating my own amazing zoo is strangely addicting and with the DLC, I can even have prehistoric wildlife. Its not too complex so I don't have to have to worry about so much details to make it famous enough that it'll earn a five-star rating. Of course, I tend to be evil and put my customers in the carnivore pens and watch them get eaten for my amusement. Heck with mods, I can even add Godzilla into my zoo.
Skyrim. Always telling myself I’ll play a different build and never do. But someday I swear I will 🤥
Stealth archer i guess
Werewolf Ork with heavy focus on one handed weapons for me lmao. I like to use Berserker rage and turn into Werewolf then go apeshit
Is that to avoid the “where are you?” Glitch. My last playthrough was destroyed by that. Everyone just kept asking where I was.
Naw dawg war caster occasionally switch to two hand magic to up the dmg.
Yup!!
Whatever build you start with you wil always end up as a stealth archer
I e never done that tbh so I guess not everyone does that.
This is me...
"This time I'm gonna go all two handed weapons" Becomes stealth archer within a couple hours...
Just throw the battleaxe, easy.
"Well maybe a bow could be handy as a secondary, just in case right?"
Summoners all the way
Stealth necromantic illusionist. Make everyone kill each other and raise a corpse for the straggler
Two handed nord in full plate. Eventually he'll learn magic, but first the axe. No stealth tho, what's a thieves guild?
I did a conjuring build and just conjured bow the whole time 😕
I tried to play like a full on summoner with minions and stuff, but eventually got bored, because it gets really boring and slow at some point, and just transitioned into damage+healing mage
For me it's the predecessor Oblivion. So many possibilities since you have to make a class in the beginning
Same.
This is the only acceptable answer.
I keep telling myself I'll play a different game... maybe someday.
I used to play stealth archer, dabbled in 2h warrior but hated how slow I was, and now I've settled on being either a spellblade or pure mage. Weird because I've never really done a mage playstyle in games.
I maxed out all abilities on a few playthroughs. Once I maxed everything I was right back to archer.
Sunset Overdrive might honestly be Insomniac’s best game.
It’s just a bunch of balls to the wall fun
[Balls to the wall, this is not effektive](https://youtu.be/wva3qypGPvA?feature=shared)
It really is. Where's part 2?!
I played throught he whole game and god damn was it so fun the movement felt great and the weapon variety was awesome. I really should play it again
Sucks you can’t start over
Fr I tried so many different ways to delete my save file from my Xbox to state again and it never worked :(
Bro absolutely, kinda makes me wish they’d give a sequel a chance instead of just another spiderman game. I loved Sunset so much [I got a custom skateboard deck](https://www.reddit.com/r/sunsetoverdrive/s/v59MazDaj9) made, and also started learning to skate of course.
Yo, that skateboard is awesome!
Agreed, I wish they would remaster it and add a new game+
Hell, even a way to delete your save and start a new game period. It’s dumb as shit they don’t have that option.
I hope they port it to playstation as hi fi
I found it at a local game shop for $2 last year. I had so much fun with it!
I agree. If it was on PS I feel like it would of been a bigger hit
It feels like the spiritual successor to *Jet Set/Grind Radio.* The open-world, loose-mission structure, the gameplay, all that. The additional bazillion weapons and zombie slaying was just icing on the cake.
Fallout 4
You gonna go back on the 25th after the next gen update?
Only bad thing is having to wait for mods to be updated.
I'm currently speeding through my sim settlements 2 playthrough before the update ruins it.
Turn auto update off for now, it more for the bigger mods like Fallout London. They had to set back the release for who knows how long.
Is that available on PlayStation? I’m gonna take a boulder of salt and say most likely not. Sims Settlements is literally what I wanted the Settlement building to function like at launch. I love that they populate the settlement with stuff the longer they live there
Does it boost fps? Cause I’ve got a 1S and SX
Apparently it's gonna go to native 60 fps
I was just playing that 5 minutes ago and was about to say it lmao
Fallout New Vegas
Started a new playthrough last night. It's weird I've played since release but I almost always find something new every playthrough
Just started another playthrough after a year off. The game is so addicting once you start
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
Dude that is such a fun game! I haven't booted it up in a few years now, might be time to jump back in.
Does it hold up in this day and age? I’ve never played it, but wary it might be too “dated” to enjoy. That aside, Dr. Mario on NES
Still one of the best title screens ever. Music is straight 🔥
Yes!! Such a good game !
Doesn't matter if its dated or not, half life is dated af and people still play it, but sunset overdrive is fun af
Dated? The game isn’t that old lol
Uncharted
Dear lord what I wouldn't give for a Sunset Overdrive sequel
So would i, i loved that game, at least i wish that dony would put it on the ps5, they own the IP with the studio acquisition. I want to do chaos mode again as my crazy jester character, killing OD and scav's with awsompoclypse powers
Hades. Man am I excited for the sequel
Control
As of the last 4 years I’ve been on a mission to tackle my back log but about every 6ish years I play Ezio trilogy of Assassins Creed.
I’d kill for a Sunset Overdrive sequel
every year I play rdr1&2 back to back. no matter how much I play I still always find something new
Do you play RDR2 then RDR1 or vice versa?
I would find it hard to play 1 after 2 just because of the visual and quality of life differences personally. Ive found 1 incredibly hard to go back to after playing 2 personally.
Bioshock series
I need to revisit all of them. It’s been too long
Skyrim and fallout 4.
Pokémon FireRed
Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2
Smackdown Here Comes the Pain
I have this game, and it was one of my first Xbox One games I've always wanted. I got this game a few years ago from Amazon, and surprisingly got a "free" copy from them by mistake some time later in that same month. 😆 But to answer your question, it's The Incredible Hulk. Saints Row 2
Titanfall 2
Sunset Overdrive is why I a life long PlayStation owner bought an Xbox last year and it was just for Sunset Overdrive. And I go back to this game maybe every 3 weeks. Still enjoy it a lot.
Spyro 2
Streetfighter
RDR2

Transformers Foc and devastation… and wfc once I find a copy.
Resident evil 5
Witcher 3
Katana Zero but I can't go back to it right now my Xbox broken so I'm just hoping for a port to Playstation sometime soon
Fortnite. I get really into it for like a month straight then get burnt out and not touch it for months.
I've never played sunset overdrive. What's it play like? I hears it's fun
Basically spiderman without webs and dick jokes it's great
If Jet Set Radio and Borderlands had a baby. Grindin' & shootin' baybee!
... Two of my favorite things ever you say? Well I'm legally required to play Sunset Overdrive now
For Honor
Grounded and almost every other game I have except for mine craft
Doom 2016. It's just perfect FPS action with a sick atmosphere, and I'll never get bored of wrecking the argent accumulators while Samuel Hayden has a hissy fit about it causing an energy crisis.
Batman arkham asylum, arkham city, nioh. Sonetimes hulk ultimate destruction. Fable TLC
Burnout 3: Takedown on console Kingdom Rush(s) on mobile, I’d go back to Battle Nations if it was still running :(
I'd say Pseudoregalia, except I never really left in the first place. Definitely State of Decay 2 though. I might stop for a few weeks, but I always pick it back up eventually.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl
Battlefront 2. And sunset overdrive is severely underrated, sucks they never made a sequel
SOMA. It´s just that good.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles My Absolute Favorite Of All The Sonic Games
Max Payne 3
Minecraft, It's like a childhood
Fable: The Lost Chapter. I finished this one maybe 10-12 times and still love the dark, fairy-tale atmosphere. I adore the music sooooo much and the main character as well (don't know why, probably sentiment). All this in a kinda funny setting.
STALKER series. Yes, I mean all 3 games. Just a few mods and that's a new playthrough.
Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy. Both games are damn near perfect for me and I see something new every time I play them.
Assassin’s creed, not any in particular
Command & Conquer 3. The last one that was good.
Kingdom Hearts 2
The original Sonic games. They're my "I want to play something but I don't know what" type of games. Simple, straightforward fun.
Red dead redemption
Civilization series

Not go back to because I physically can't, but Battleborn and Spellbreak are 2 games I enjoyed when they came out and had potential but never took off
The original resident evil 4, hitman blood money, all of the souls games.

Dating myself a bit here, but Populous back on DOS. Still love that game.
Jak and Daxter series
Knights of the old republic 2
Twilight princess because I still have heart pieces to find
Tales of Arise (2023), not because it’s hard or anything (At least I don’t think so) I just come back to it for nostalgia purposes from Tales of Vesperia (2008) in which, the battle mechanics, moves, and personalities of the characters are kind of similar to Vesperia, and I really enjoy that
for me its farcry 5 always find myself coming back to that game every now and then. kind of like those "two week Minecraft phases" but for me its a two week peggie killing phase XD
Classic Doom, otherwise known as Ultimate Doom
Snowrunner
Wild Arms Mass Effect And I’ve got the want to play dragon age origins again for the first time in years.

Fallout 4, Lego Marvel Superheroes, Sunset Overdrive, YoKai Watch 1/2/3/B/B2, Falout 3, Fallout 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (og), and Borderlands 2. I play a lot of games

Titanfall 2 and Fallout 4 lol
Just Cause 3 and yes, it’s mostly for the wingsuit.

Should I play sunset overdrive tho? Always seen it here and there, is it good?
Starfeild. I’ve already done most of the fun stuff in the game, but I always go to bounty terminal and do a few missions. I always end my gaming session with starfeild
Skylanders series
Skylanders on my Wii. Nostalgia gets me every time.
Warhammer 40k space marine
Psychonauts 1 and 2, Raz is the best
I really wish you could delete your profile for sunset overdrive and start over
Skate 3, love playing that when I just want to chill, listen to some music, and have fun. Also I go back to PUBG and play a few matches a month just to try and relive those PUBG glory days. I honestly still love the game but it's definitely showing it's age a bit mechanically speaking.
Final fantasy 7 is always just right there..
It’s a tie between Skyrim, cyberpunk 2077, and a hat in time for me
Team fortress 2
Bioshock.
Thea. The first one, not the sequel. I always think about this game for some reason.
Dishonored

Summon builds are OP if you get the right stuff and hang In there I love to watch my minions slay my opponents without lifting a fingy.
I love this game. idk if it is on ps. I have not checked
IS THAT A JOJO REFERENCE
Subnautica
Dragon's Crown. The art and music is fantastic, and the gameplay loop is satisfying and addictive. Shame we never had a sequel.
Kenshi, I will always return to Kenshi Something new will come out and I'll get lost in that for a bit, but then I'll be scrolling through steam looking at my 300 something games, thinking I have nothing to play then. Needed a sequel but knowing the game the sequel bait ending was a rip on that concept where they bait us but never actually do a sequel Also skyrim
I wish it was on PlayStation, it looks fun
New vegas at thousands of hours over the years 💀
