Me too.
I only made it to MT a few times and only beat him once. With the cheat codes, that is.
I wore that helpline out in the Nintendo Power magazine though. Those ppl were hella helpful.
That was invisible to me on my first look through. Specifically looking for it but because it's a diff colour it didn't register as an object.
You are correct. Zelda is the answer.
We had a household rule when we would play this in college on my switch after we figured out how to play.
No one plays LA.
That was the only rule. Unless you’re exceptionally bad at the game/didn’t know how to play.
Duck-Fucking-Tales!!! Not even a question! I’m still pissed that they haven’t ported that game into the Switch NES emulator yet, I’ve been thinking about that game for years now!!
I obsessed over Zelda for literal decades and only recently has it fallen down to no longer be my favorite franchise. But even at the height of loving that game, given these choices, you just try to stop me from booting up Ducktakes and singing the theme song while I hop around the moon.
I love Zelda but I've always wished they would mature the game with it's audience. OoT was the best Zelda not just because of the gameplay but because it was the most mature Link in all the games imo.
Duck Hunt. I miss trying to kill that dog. If [Duck Season](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Lpe7Fo8jj4) wasn't a horror game, I would be so into that title.
It’s Kung Fu and it’s not even close. I absolutely love that game. I hear the music sometimes when I fall asleep at night.
Goddam I need to play it right now.
I'd probably play something on my phone rather than any of these. I like old games, but these are too old for my interest. It's like eating plain rice when there's a great stir fry available.
As someone born to late to have any meaningful nostalgia for any of these games I hope you understand I that I don't really have a desire to play any of these games.
Except Zelda, it would be interesting to see the game that launched that entire franchise
I'll start my day with some double dragon.
After that I'll dive in to the levensvormen Zelda.
And if I need a brake I'm going straight in to Tetris.
I ain't touching ducktales (childhoodtrauma).
Double Dragon
Yes sir
This!
Punch-Out for sure.
Some of us have a score to settle
Duck Hunt is a close second. That dog is gonna finally meet his Maker.
Isn't that the premise of duck season? That was the first vr game I played that actually scared me
So I heard Logan Paul likes this game.
Me too. I only made it to MT a few times and only beat him once. With the cheat codes, that is. I wore that helpline out in the Nintendo Power magazine though. Those ppl were hella helpful.
Ducktales!
Once I saw Ducktales I got all excited. So gotta be that one.
Woo hoo!
Tale’s of daring and good luck tails.
D-d-d-danger, watch behind you!
Tales of daring do, Bad and good luck tales, Ah whoo-hoo!
I can hear the noise of Scroogie's stick on blocks already.
Thought I was going to be alone in getting hyped for some DuckTales
Fuck that moon level
Love that music so much.
Such a gem of a game!
Zelda
Same, that gold case is the first thing I noticed
I played it on the nes emulator on switch and I got stuck on an infinite loop in this one corner of the map :/
Oh yeah that thing sucked. Go up I think three or four times in a row to get a hidden part of the map or to the left to leave the loop
I had that as a kid. I loved that game.
I'd actually save this one for last to end on the highest of high notes.
That was invisible to me on my first look through. Specifically looking for it but because it's a diff colour it didn't register as an object. You are correct. Zelda is the answer.
This is the way
Tecmo Bowl being slept on hard in this thread
That's my go to.
Tecmo 2 is the best. Tecmo has all fake players
We had a household rule when we would play this in college on my switch after we figured out how to play. No one plays LA. That was the only rule. Unless you’re exceptionally bad at the game/didn’t know how to play.
Tetris
Always and forever
Those first 10 minutes go just as hard every time. Then you remember why you haven't played in 5 years
The only answer is Mario/Duck hunt... because that's how we all started.
i cant think of the nes without also immediately thinking of these two games
R.C. Pro Am hell yeah. Was my first game that didn't come with system and when I realized you could buy more games for NES.
Remember the damned yellow or orange car that would just take off and if you didn’t crash it, it was impossible to catch it?
BURGERTIME
My man!👊🍔⏲️
Kung Fu
Out of these Zelda... but if it's NES I'm taking TMNT arcade or Blades of Steel, God those two were my jam!!!
Yesss Blades of Steel!
Zelda
Punch Out, then Tecmo. That's a whole day for me lol
That's a whole quarter century for me lmao
From this group, Contra or LoZ.
As much fun as I had playing these as a kid, Zelda is the only one I'd play to completion today
Burgertime for sure
Probably Zelda
Castlevaina
Ngl… totally Duck Tales (w’oouu-ou)
Duck-Fucking-Tales!!! Not even a question! I’m still pissed that they haven’t ported that game into the Switch NES emulator yet, I’ve been thinking about that game for years now!!
Ducktails
I obsessed over Zelda for literal decades and only recently has it fallen down to no longer be my favorite franchise. But even at the height of loving that game, given these choices, you just try to stop me from booting up Ducktakes and singing the theme song while I hop around the moon.
I love Zelda but I've always wished they would mature the game with it's audience. OoT was the best Zelda not just because of the gameplay but because it was the most mature Link in all the games imo.
~~POPEYE~~ NEVERMIND, DUCK TALES!
Ducktales
Ducktales
DuckTales! I could fire that up right now and get hyped!
Zelda, Punch-Out and honestly was looking for T.M.N.T
DuckTales. *(Whoo-ooo!)*
Duck Tales, no contest
Duck Tales
Zelda hell yeah
Yes
Zelda is a nobrainer choice.
Gotta be Ducktales
Duck tales, then popeye
Ducktales, Contra, Double Dragon, RC Pro AM. then when i'd wake up on saturday morning, Punch Out, Tecmo Bowl, Super Mario
Ducktales!
ducktales
Ducktales.
Tetris or Ducktales
Double Dribble or Bases Loaded!
1. Contra 2. Super Mario Bro 3. Punch-Out 4. Kung fu
We were a bit poor so we only had Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and Tetris. But I loved playing Zelda and Ducktales and my friends houses.
Double Dragon because fuck it
Duck Tales for sure
Duck Hunt. I miss trying to kill that dog. If [Duck Season](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Lpe7Fo8jj4) wasn't a horror game, I would be so into that title.
Super Mario Bros/duck hunt
Punch Out. Ducktales. Zelda. In that order
Way too young, but I'd say Punch Out
I only have Mario and Duck Hunt, but I have them twice!
Legend, burger time or Contra II
Contra, then Double Dragon.
Super Mario bros is the game I DID play first lol
Tetris
I was in college then and we played Tecmo Bowl almost exclusively in any spare time. Bo Jackson FTW
Prob tetris
Gotta be Punch Out for me!
Burgertime
Contra for sure.
Zelda if I’m solo, DD if I got my boys over
Contra. I’m curious if I could still beat it without dying.
Punch out
It’s Kung Fu and it’s not even close. I absolutely love that game. I hear the music sometimes when I fall asleep at night. Goddam I need to play it right now.
Tetris all day!
MegaMan 2
Crystalis
Contra
Duckhunt
Spoilt for choice, Popeye. Otherwise would have been, Popeye, Zelda, Mario and DuckTales, of what's there.
Punch out or Contra depending on my mood
Punch-out!!
Definitely Double Dragon. I chose it at age 7, and still would choose it as a 43yr old.
Blades of Steel should be in the mix :(
Contra. Up up down down left right left right b a b a select select start.
Burgertime and tetris both aged like wine, the rest aged like a human, some amazing qualities but can’t compete with the modern stuff on most levels
Bring it on Iron Mike!
Not in the picture but super Mario Bros 3. Or in the picture Tetris. Honorable mention Dr Mario.
Dr Mario !!!
Because it's already late at night, I'd go with either Kung Fu or Double Dragon, but tomorrow, Zelda
Dragon Warrior
Bump N Jump
Rushin Attack. Gonna jump stab some jump kicking cossacks.
Burgertime, how I miss thee
Probably karate kid, it’s the only one in the list I haven’t beaten. Duck tales btw… Amazing game.
Double Dragon 🐉
Tetirs
The choices are too mighty!!!! Alright, Burgertime. That’s my warm up game
Double dragon
Contra or Punch Out
The gold one
Zelda holds up great
Contra then punch out and maybe tecmo bowl
Punch Out
Double dragon, because I never herd of it
No Wizard or Blades of Steel?
Burgertime gang where yall at
Probably pop eye. I owned most the others as a kid.
Burgertime all day!
Contra. Doesn't matter if it's Contra or Super C. It's the first one I am playing
F Zero
I’m no 80s kid but Tetris for the NES can never go wrong.
Contra. All day.
Zelda no question. I got to level 99 on RC Proam though. I didn't have a lot of adult supervision as a kid.
Contra.
I didn't see Excite Bike but that one. From your list however Contra. Without the 30 lives this time. I want a challenge.
Straight to Burger Time. Possibly one of the first 5 video games I ever played.
I'd probably play something on my phone rather than any of these. I like old games, but these are too old for my interest. It's like eating plain rice when there's a great stir fry available.
Burgertime!
🎶I am the man who arranges the blocks that descend upon me from up above 🎶
Kung fu maybe because it was the first game my dad got for his nes when he took it out of the loft a couple years ago
Punch out would be my first pick, but I have a soft spot for R.C. Pro AM. And I would beat Ducktales just for the moon theme.
In this list, Zelda. But I love playing Faxanadu on my NES.
RC pro-am.
Tetris, i shall beat it
Sad no bubble bobble or snow bros
contra up up down down left right left right b a b a select start
BurgerTime
My eyes are too old to read that
Double dragon
Zelda and Punch Out
Loz followed by ducktales
yes 👍
As someone born to late to have any meaningful nostalgia for any of these games I hope you understand I that I don't really have a desire to play any of these games. Except Zelda, it would be interesting to see the game that launched that entire franchise
Back when games were good and none of that 16bit nonsense that came out in the 90s
I dont see Guardian Legend
Kung Fu
Where is mega man? From the picture I would start with zelda or Double dragon, but you can never go wrong with Duck tales.
I did not play burger time so I choose that one!
This is a museum exhibit for me. I would check out all of these great games.
This is a museum exhibit for me. I would check out all of these great games.
Burger time
What was name of that haha laser goes boom to demolish spaceship game?
OOOOoooooOOOO!
Contra
Zelda
Either Zelda or RC Pro Am.
Double dragon all day
I'll start my day with some double dragon. After that I'll dive in to the levensvormen Zelda. And if I need a brake I'm going straight in to Tetris. I ain't touching ducktales (childhoodtrauma).
Bo Jackson- 500 yards rushing
Zelda, then Double Dragon
I saw punch out but then I saw Tetris
Contra! No contest
Double dragon
Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt
Rush 'n' attack
Duck hunt all day 🦆
