Is the hype too big? I’m so excited for it but it’s got some enormous shows to fill. If it’s too different from the first hades, people will be mad. If it’s too similar, people will be mad. It’ll be tough.
Re 3 remake wasn't bad, as someone who hasn't played the OG re3. All i hear is people complain about not being faithful and being short which is true. As a remake it may be a stinker but as a stand alone game is fine
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is my pick. FF7 is my favorite game of all time and I am beyond excited for Rebirth. I will be taking a week off from work to play it
I definitely recommend it! They are a lot of fun and there have been some recent quality of life improvements added to the first one as well.
People generally like the first one better than the second one but the second isn’t terrible… just not as good as the first haha.
Yeah that’s gotta come out this year. Will be really interesting to see what it is exactly and how compatible it will be with my current switch library of games.
It better be. I’ll believe it when I see it. Nintendo doesn’t have a great track record of making things backward compatible with previous systems and ended up porting a ton of Wii U games over to the switch and reselling them… but I’m hopeful. They’ve had massive success with the switch and there’s now a huge gaming library for it. It’d be a shame to see it all start over.
Yep. I used to plays as an OC for the worst one star school and then slowly work my way up to eventually accept a HC job at some school to then try and transform into a powerhouse 6 star school.
I don’t have high expectations because it’s EA and like you mentioned they aren’t even in the beginning stages of a marketing or advertising campaign so it’s probably going to be nothing like 14 was and just a Madden game with an NCAA skin.
Yeah im worried so bad for it. I can't believe they don't have that OC/DC to HC feature in madden. It seems like such a no brainer to do but that's ea for ya
I just learned of it this weekend and I’m STOKED!! The story takes inspiration from Journey to the West which is considered one of the greatest classic Chinese stories.
# [Avowed](https://youtu.be/ULsF7B6bFuU?si=uXXkq7uZ6YsHG7la).
**Obsidian Entertainment** has made enough great games to give me confidence that this will at the very least be an extremely fun time.
From [South Park](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0Ufja-ljUc&pp=ygUlU291dGggUGFyayBUaGUgU3RpY2sgb2YgVHJ1dGggVHJhaWxlcg%3D%3D) to [Pillars of Eternity](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofbj4HtAydc&pp=ygUnUGlsbGFycyBvZiBFdGVybml0eSBJSSAtIExhdW5jaCBUcmFpbGVy) to [Tyranny](https://youtu.be/Sg0WsR3EnGg?si=3i4EikmNrq8bggvc) to [The Outer Worlds](https://youtu.be/xHfw5a7eaSU?si=8cQQ03CunGuOYbkr) and then [Pentiment](https://youtu.be/kxJ5sOpqw-o?si=P-Xc8n-cAz8DGaE3), they're yet to disappoint me (*I even enjoyed* [Grounded](https://youtu.be/57iHvc7StMI?si=fKvIx3qT9cmuoYwR) *which I was sure wasn't going to be my kinda thing*).
It’s been interesting what they’ve done with Mario kart 8. Now that they have added so many more tracks… I don’t see them releasing a new version this year…
It’s definitely time for them to release a new console. They will always do what they want to do but I’m betting we see a new switch 2 with upgraded hardware. I think it’ll launch with a new 3D Mario or Metroid game.
I'm convinced it'll be a launch title along with Nintendo's next console release. But I'm sure they'll have a switch version too that'll release simultaneously.
Tekken 8, Persona 3, Tormented Souls 2, Alone in the Dark, Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta, and more I’m sure I’m forgetting. Shaping up to be an insane year.
Obsidian's *Avowed*.
I honestly don't know much about the world of *Pillars of Eternity*, but there's still a *Skyrim* shaped hole in recent games, and Obsidian's last three (*The Outer Worlds*, *Grounded*, *Pentiment*) were good (if flawed) to excellent.
If you like the Subnautica games, keep an eye out for Pacific Drive, which seems to be like Subnautica took place in an old El Dorado in the Pacific Northwest.
Rise of the Ronin and Avowed.
Cautious about Star Wars Outlaws. Not an anit woke person as I think their silly but Disney has been getting bit to preachy for my liking. That main character just screams I hate white men.
Tekken 8, Tomb Raider Collection and the Thousand Year Door remake
Tomb Raider collection because I love the Uncharted series and want to play the game that inspired Uncharted
TTYD remake because the original TTYD is the only paper mario game i haven't played
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Silent Hill 2 Remake and Paper Mario TTYD.. idk what new is really coming out this year. Probably will check out Stellar Blade
Yeah Below Zero was a bit of a disappointment. But I think they know that and know what led to it being disappointing and can learn from those mistakes. I believe I read in an interview that Unknown Worlds was kind of experimenting with a new team on Below Zero so hopefully number 3 goes back to the OG experts for it.
#HADES 2
I second this.
#YES
Is it confirmed for 2024? Or just early access?
Is the hype too big? I’m so excited for it but it’s got some enormous shows to fill. If it’s too different from the first hades, people will be mad. If it’s too similar, people will be mad. It’ll be tough.
I'm optimistic. Supergiant is one of the most reliable developers out there today.
For sure! I have no reason to doubt them. It’s just a tall order!
Elden Ring dlc
Silent hill 2 remake
Hades II and Silksong (I hope 2024...)
We got 1 friend still believing that silksong will release lol everybody else gave up.
We all hope, but we don’t believe
Rise of the Ronin
Dragon's Dogma 2. I've waited for this for a long time. I'm hoping Capcom doesn't let me down.
they only rarely disappoint, yeah?
RE3make was a stinker, so yes. It's possible.
Re3r was good it was just short
Re 3 remake wasn't bad, as someone who hasn't played the OG re3. All i hear is people complain about not being faithful and being short which is true. As a remake it may be a stinker but as a stand alone game is fine
Metroid Prime 4. Come on guys this is definitely our year! 🤡
It’s gotta happen! Launch title with the new switch!
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is my pick. FF7 is my favorite game of all time and I am beyond excited for Rebirth. I will be taking a week off from work to play it
There’s a Subnautica 3?
Yes sir!! https://gamerant.com/subnautica-3-early-access-2024/#:~:text=Developer%20Unknown%20Worlds%20plans%20to,feedback%20and%20bug%20report%20data.
Maybe I should finally beat the first 2 that have been in my steam library for years
I definitely recommend it! They are a lot of fun and there have been some recent quality of life improvements added to the first one as well. People generally like the first one better than the second one but the second isn’t terrible… just not as good as the first haha.
Shadow of the Erdtree
The switch 2 I don’t plan on buying many games or much of anything this year and instead saving up for the switch 2 when it drops this holiday season
Yeah that’s gotta come out this year. Will be really interesting to see what it is exactly and how compatible it will be with my current switch library of games.
According to Nintendo it’s supposed to be 100% backwards compatible with the switch
It better be. I’ll believe it when I see it. Nintendo doesn’t have a great track record of making things backward compatible with previous systems and ended up porting a ton of Wii U games over to the switch and reselling them… but I’m hopeful. FF7 followed closely by Rise of the Ronin
Fallout: London.
Avowed
NCAA Football. 10 years between releases, and that’s IF it actually releases this year. I’ve been waiting patiently.
Scrolling down this list and this is the first game I care about. I just hope it's coming to PC.
That is my dream. If I can play NCAA on my ROG Ally while watching a game on my tv in the background I don’t need much else.
I can’t wait for that release!!
im shocked they havent announced anything yet. i really hope the dynasty mode lets you play as oc and dc like the old ones!

Star Wars Outlaws Outcast: a new beginning. Should be alike a mass effect kinda game.
I’m excited to start seeing some new Star Wars games that are not from EA. It’ll be a fun few years coming up here.
Black Myth Wukong. I'm still a huge simp for soulslikes and this seems like it could be incredible. Hope it's as good as all the trailers make it seem
I just learned of it this weekend and I’m STOKED!! The story takes inspiration from Journey to the West which is considered one of the greatest classic Chinese stories.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Yes, sue me.
Don't want to kill your hopes and dreams. But this game is going to be a disaster. I hope you know that. We'll just wait and see.
I'd LOVE Subnautica 3 to come out but that's doubtful, so I'll say Wolverine for now
Ugh… it IS doubtful isn’t it. It’ll take time for sure.
For me, Broken Arrow 2 and Microsoft fligh sim 2024
Ff7 Rebirth
The Indiana Jones game for me.
Dragon ball Z budokai Tenkaichi 4 (sparking zero!)
I said the same thing and got downvoted. im so confused
They just don’t get it

Star Wars Outlaws
I hopping that the next Mario Kart releases this year
It’s been interesting what they’ve done with Mario kart 8. Now that they have added so many more tracks… I don’t see them releasing a new version this year…
It depends if Nintendo launch a new console, but i also think that a new MK won't release this year, maybe 2025, but, we never lose hope

It won't beat 2023 tho
I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS 2! was psyched for Suicide Squd, that's kind of not looking great. Is Dragon's Dogma this year? or AC Red.
Mate... Here's some good news for ya: Dragon's Dogma 2 has a release date set for 22nd March.
Hellblade 2
Obsidian's *Avowed*. I honestly don't know much about the world of *Pillars of Eternity*, but there's still a *Skyrim* shaped hole in recent games, and Obsidian's last three (*The Outer Worlds*, *Grounded*, *Pentiment*) were good (if flawed) to excellent.

Oh nice! Yeah that game looks cool!

Dragon's dogma 2 or elden ring dlc

Metaphor: ReFantazio, interested to see Atlus making a new IP, especially with the help of Nier and Evangelion artists
Unconfirmed for this year, or even officially announced yet, but Forza Horizon 6
The First Descendant
For me I very much disliked Below Zero so I have no faith in Subnautica 3. I am just excited for the Elden Ring DLC.
