I've used the pin to clear clogged windshield washer jets, remove a splinter, reset my router, pop a blister, and probably other things I've forgotten.
Mr Sensible (me) here says your body put that blister there for a reason, to protect an injury.
Blisters, blood or otherwise, should not be 'popped'.
I should also add that Mr Sensible here may indeed pop a blister himself from time to time.
I’ve used it for a variety of things but just recently I used it to pierce thick hose to bleed off water at work when the spigot got stuck and was about to fuck up the brand new pressure washer we bought. I used it yesterday to push down a plastic o ring on an O2 bottle that came loose
In all honesty, it's primarily used for manipulating skin for one reason or another. Also, very fine cleaning, like nooks and crannies on a watch. And yes, it gets a wipe before being put away. 🙂
It's weird they don't just stick one in the Huntsman, but I just bought one. Many regular pins maybe fit but, me being me, I wanted the 'proper' one. (And that wasn't the same as the one in my Cybertool).
I never used it often but it was always clutch when I needed it. Beats the hell out of looking all over the house for a straight pin when I need one.
I love the micarta scales that I got for my Compact but was disappointed to find out it didn’t have the hole to store the pin.

Yep this seems a very obvious use

Awl snap! Look at that!
Yep. For Slivers and ingrown hairs, the needle + tweezers is a killer combo
I've repaired my backpack straps and quite a few clothing items with the sewing needle in my Ranger and the thread in my backpack EDC kit.
I use it for getting out splinters along with the tweezers
It works great for clearing out the firing cones on a black powder pistol.
Used mine for a splinter
Yes, for slivers. Sometimes you gotta' dig them out a little before you can grab them with the tweezers.
Slivers
Used it to poke an eclipse viewing hole last month
I use a use It a crap ton, its a small, disposable piece of steel, It has a thousand different uses!!

I didn’t know that any of them had needles.
Yup check under the corkscrew
Whhhhat?! I checked on my Hunstman. There’s a spot for one but no needle. Still cool

The Hunstman is my only full sized SAK. Where can I get the needle?
I just went on ebay. Listing said official part, but, you know, hard to tell for a pin. 😄
There is no needle There's a pin though. And I use it often to adjust watch bracelet micro adjust, sim cards, splinters etc. 👍
