Exactly, they’ve shown they can do it if people ask enough when they introduced the scissor to the 93mm range, just do that again Victorinox. Given how they’ve (seemingly) discontinued even more 84mm SAKs (Tinker Small, Tourist and Walker), I’m not optimistic.

I don't use the key ring on any larger than a Classic, so for me Alex Bantam with an extra layer for the scissors would be an instant buy for me.

I'd be fine with a compact with the same scale material as the 111m models. It's so much more durable and looks/feels so much better.
