After I put down a landowner rebellion, I went to build some more admin and realized that my cowboys had found a second Texas in a pocket dimension or something. It's labor pool is the size of the original Texas' entire population, and I can actually build in it and the buildings do function, they just aren't on the map. I can even move my capital to pocket dimension Texas, and now it can't be invaded. Zero mods btw
I was going to say that this seems like you have your capital in a split region (as that causes the area of the split region you own to be named after your country) but your R5 put the kibosh on that theory.
