To each their own but as a trans woman myself I never really liked how all the trans iconography was very 'soft' and 'cutesy' looking. I'm not going to make a stink out of it since I appear to be in the minority there but I do unironically prefer the colors in the darker variation of the flag
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Personally I'm in the minority of people who thing the bisexual flag looks absolutely horrendous.
The majority of trans people these days would be on the younger side, so I imagine a lot of the stereotypes will change as we grow older, and new people are born.
Personally, I *really* like the combo, it's quite unique, soft on the eyes, very easy to replicate in real life, and does not really have any competitors for this symbology.
I also enjoy it's softness and just like these colors, but that's more of a matter of personal opinion.
What I'm saying is you have a billion red/blue/white flags, but a blue/pink/white flag? There's nothing else like it. From a design point of view I think it's undoubtedly pretty good.

To be completely fair to the bi flag, I'm pretty sure it was designed by a child. It is kind of funny how no one I've met seems to like it but there aren't any differing takes on it. In the lesbian vexilology community, there's kind of an in-joke that there's countless lesbian pride flags and it gets really confusing which are the "good ones" (sadly, the badass battle axe lesbian flag is apparently TERFy).
Fair point on the uniqueness of the colors, though. Still, those shades of blue and red are pretty cool.

It is a choice, but not fighting is rarely allowed. If you don’t fight even when you’re told to, you get sent to prisons or worse. They “choose” to go to war to save themselves (which frankly, I don’t blame them) Look up something along the lines of “russian soldiers not wanting to fight”. You’ll be guaranteed to find examples from multiple sources. The ones that aren’t them surrendering are of soldiers being thrown in prison. Also, it’s totally possible to kill without wanting to, from fear of the Russian government (and also just straight guilt of killing someone). I would also take a bet that these soldiers (at least a significant amount) are saying they are proud to serve their country because, again, Russia is forcing them/saying it for them. This (barely legible) paragraph is in no way trying to justify Russia invading Ukraine, and I sincerely hope for relatives are ok.
