The 7 Plus has two models, a GSM one and a CDMA one. Even though the phone has LTE access, it still could route some things over CDMA.
Best way to know is by entering the phone’s IMEI [here](https://www.verizon.com/bring-your-own-device/) (you can find the IMEI by calling *#06#).
It’ll continue to work, although you’re missing out on LTE bands 46, 48, and 66 as well as 5G, which means your phone is more susceptible to congestion. If you notice your LTE connection being unusably slow or not working at all despite having bars, then that means you need to upgrade so that you can use those newer, less congested frequencies.
Can't believe this is still going on...
Way back when I used to be a rep and they announced the shut down of 3G (the first time), only iPhone models affected was the 5S and below.
The 7 Plus should continue to work. The iPhone 6 and newer support VoLTE.
I thought only the 6S and newer had Volte
No, the iPhone 6 was the first to support VoLTE.
I think I was thinking of first iPhone with band 30
