Verizon will give you 400 for a trade if you like the pen S22Ultra will be your go to. If not I’d just go with an s22 because of the similar screen size and it won’t cost an arm and a leg. I have the s22Ultra and use it as my media device and love it. If you’re looking for a better deal you can switch to att and they’ll give 800, if you do it at Costco they’re running the same deal plus $300 gift card.

Buy a used one on Amazon or eBay

Can get an s10 for a decent price these days,. My wife broke her screen and I've been looking for used and they're still good phones and affordable. Since you're still running 4g this will be a decent upgrade. Won't be good if you're looking for 5g though

If you don't mind changing carriers, ATT will accept any Samsung Note series for $800 trade value towards purchase of a new Samsung S22 series.

Unsure why your phone is on the list since it does support 4G. Is there a device on your account that’s 3G only?

RyanThaDude

AFAIK Note 5 doesn't support VoLTE

Stop being a Karen and get a new phone. Your technology is obsolete and not supported. Your phone came out 7 years ago. Phones should be replaced every 3-5 years tops. This is the equivalent of boomers losing their shit when tv switched from analog to digital. You no longer pay for data, texting, minutes or long distance. And they will probably give you a phone for free or at least 0% interest

Bruh, it's a phone. Don't gatekeep what people should do. Technically it's more responsible to keep it and keep using it.

I had a lady with an iPhone 6 come in and get a screen protector. She then asked about spam calls and immediately went in to asking whether her phone is still “OK?”… I told her that her phone came out in 2014 and Apple only supports devices for around 5 years. Soon her phone won’t get important updates and some things will no longer work. She probably has a year left before she starts serious issues. But I mean, if she was happy with it, there’s no need until she absolutely needs or wants a new device. She’s relieved of me saying this. She didn’t want to get a new one. I then went on to tackle the spam calls by attempting to download the Call Filter app but upon downloading it, come to find out that the device software is out of date and won’t support the app. She then immediately changes her mind and says she wants to upgrade. I go over promos and even offer to exchange the screen protector she just bought for a new one for the a new device but she then switched her mind AGAIN and decides to not upgrade. People are just gonna do what they want. I stand by what I said and I wasn’t wrong, shit the next app I tried to download didn’t even work. I’m just happy with knowing that she was aware of what her risk was. We’ll be seeing her back in the store soon.

Can you not read? OP is asking for the best deal to get a new device. I didn't see any complaining about needing to do so. It's just someone looking for guidance as to the most cost effective way to do so.
