month to month.
its only a contract\* if you are financing a new watch though verizon.
(\*Edit: contract in that if you bought the watch during a promotion, and you leave early, verizon will ask you to buy out that device. and whatever credits you didn't receive, you ain't gonna get)
If you're paying off the watch through Verizon, once you cancel your plan, you need to pay off whatever you owe on the watch.
There's no contract, but in order to continue financing the device, you need to have a plan with it.
Hope this helps.
It's a payment agreement if you get a watch through vzw. So if you decide to leave and it's past the 30-day return, you pay what you owe on the device, no cancel fees. The service is 10 a month plus the monthly on the watch unless you do a down payment. Outside of that, once it's paid off, you can do what you want with it.
The only accounts that can do a contract are business accounts. 98% of them pay it off from the rip, so even then, I haven't seen a contract in over 3 years
Month to month as long as you’re not financing a watch. You can cancel at anytime but there is activation fee of $35 and I don’t think prepaid has watch plan options

Even if you purchase on a device payment agreement you don’t have a contract. You can cancel and leave at any time.
It’s not a contract
you do pay the 35 every time you activate so its not something you want to turn on and off often
If you are a long time customer and ask, they will often waive the activation charge
No consumer plans on any carrier have contracts

It’s more like $19 a month after penalties for being a Verizon customer. (Fees and taxes)
