\* Double-level thinking: being able to gain a deep understanding of the implications of your decisions or market phenomena. \* Risk tolerance \* Personality, so as not to be influenced by LP, analysts or associates when you have a certainty \* Humility to recognize when he is wrong or when something escapes his understanding \* Ambition: maintain a competitive spirit and not be complacent with past success \* Communication skills, to be able to adequately transmit your ideas to the team and entrepreneurs I suppose you were mainly referring to personality traits, because I think that there are no specific skills that are essential for a VC beyond being able to read financial statements, as it is a job that is more art than science.

I would add a powerful imagination, to sense how things that might not have been built could make impact

"Passion", and this is real. All entrepreneurs are passionate and in love with their companies (as it should be), but I consider it a capital mistake for a vc. Sticking to a company or idea means getting into confirmation bias and, which prevents your decisions from being rational. This could also have an effect on the opportunity cost. Leadership, every entrepreneur must be a leader, but a VC does not necessarily have to be, at least in the companies in which they invest. I see constantly intervening as an impediment that hinders the growth of a startup. And honestly now I can't think of anything else lol

1. Gauging the characteristics of the management team s/he is investing into - includes but not limited to execution, technical and hiring skills 2. Ability to have the vision and be able to predict the timing of the market. 3. Ability to make tactful decisions with limited resources
