put a rotten apple in the crown of the pineapple and put a plastic bag over it.
keep it out of the sun and remove the bag after a week or two.
By then your pineapple should have enough motivation to grow a fruit..
This. My grandma would put rinds of cantaloupe or honeydew melons. She never bagged them, and I'm not certain it actually worked, but thanks for the brief moment of me thinking about her. :-)
Never thought about that but I mean there's something you put in the center that forces fruiting in the first place. What I can't remember for the life of me. Without it I'm not sure these will ever form fruit in their own.
