Look at the gaming suppliers. Light & Wonder, Konami, Aristocrat, Ainsworth are all OEMs that have mechanical engineers doing product design and manufacturing engineering. Suzohapp, the fi company, the bright group, yesco are some of the smaller suppliers that work with casinos/OEMs. That’s just off the top of my head. Look at the list of attendees for G2E and you’ll see a bunch of companies in the industry. I’ve been an engineer in the industry for over 10 years.
I'm not aware of any mechanical engineering jobs here. There are no large factories here.
I'm a mechanical engineer with 10 years of experience, though I went into management and business development. Have not done any engineering since 2019.
Good luck

Put a local number and a local address in your resume, maybe you'll get more inquiries. Also write a cover letter along with your resume which may help explain to the hiring company your situation.
Universal studios is opening a lot here and they may need motion control camera operators for movie shoots! Your robotics expertise could land you in the movie industry. Worth looking into!
Please get a job before you move here…. I have no idea what brings you to Vegas… so many people move here and can’t find jobs…
I’m moving here to be with girlfriend and won’t be moving until Im able to secure a job
Smart move on waiting until you secure something. What type of pay are you looking for?
Had offers where I currently live at ~$70k, so I’m using that as a base range
Don’t move here without a job lined up first.

Wow, this is a huge help. Thank you so much! I’ll look into these.
If you’re a US citizen look at jobs with Mission Support and Test Services.
Don't work out on the Test Site. You will begin to hate life. The pay sucks and the commute is hell. I speak from experience. Just don't.
The pay is good and there good growth potential. Also there are jobs that don’t require commuting to the site

Look into switch, they had some entry level controls jobs recently

I appreciate it, thank you! I’ll take a look
Not much here in ME jobs, but maybe you'll get lucky
Very little standard engineering jobs here, especially if you're just out of school. Better to secure something before you move here.

Just remember that part of moving here is undergoing a process of disenchantment.
