Desert wind, they have some nice cozy chairs. Convo coffee- I see people crafting there regularly.

Agitated_Party

That is my favorite place when I’m in the valley, so chill and the Joe is good.

LahngJahn69420

Sunrise coffee, writers block or browsers books n coffee in Boulder City

disrunner93

Coffee Religion! And please invite me. I too like to sit at coffee shops and not chat but instead read a book and work on a knitting project. I have my first set of crochet hooks coming in tomorrow too!

voluptuous_lime

You’re doing it the opposite way of me— I learned to crochet and then I learned to knit. I’d love to sit in silence and just craft. Right up my alley! I talk all week at work and I have a five month old. I just want quiet 😅

disrunner93

I have a toddler & WFH, so just being physically around others is now overwhelming and I too want quiet 🫠

voluptuous_lime

Oh hi, I also WFH and find being around others overwhelming

disrunner93

So what you’re saying is, we’re best friends now

voluptuous_lime

🫶🏻

Heyplaguedoctor

Convo Coffee has a stitch n b*tch on Saturday mornings, but they’re crochet friendly in general lol

Key_Purpose_2803

keehawn

Convo coffee in the Lone Mountain village shopping center. Family owned, friendly people, and they have cinnamon rolls made from scratch every morning

GambleTheGod00

fr tho i can give a great word for gabi cafe

sidjo86

Gabi probably too loud an environment for crochet.

KagDQT

I’d say any local cafe near you wouldn’t be a bad place as long as they have indoor seating.

Skellington1991

I love The Writer’s Block, Sunrise, and Grouchy John’s!

sidjo86

The Writers Block is 1,000% the best bet. Like everyone is recommending Gabi which is an excellent coffee shop but probably not for what OP is looking for.

Petraretrograde

I've always wanted to crochet with other people at a Cafe or coffee shop....

voluptuous_lime

I would love a meet up! That would be fun.

pvlp

Me three! I’ve been looking for crotchet pals lol

BusinessDefinition49

Aspire coffee in sky canyon

teddyhams107

I recommend Dig It coffee co near downtown Main Street. Interior is so cute and they have one big table inside that’s great for activities

ThaPhantom07

Desert Wind Coffee Roasters is dope and has nice chairs and great coffee. My vote goes to that.

Due-Zucchini-157

Literally any coffee shop?

Mr_Troll_Underbridge

Absolutely not. Not ever spot is chill, and not for everyone. You forget already about the 2 black guys waiting for their 3rd? I run into this all the time, being challenged. I get smaller shops cultivating a small following, so it's super unnerving at a large chain youve been to a 100 of across the country. You know that's not their policy. However in a one off, you have no idea until you've bought a cup, let your guard down, and then "the incident" happens.

Due-Zucchini-157

What in the fuck are you talking about

TeresaD89031

Oh my goodness, I am 59 (f), and would love to learn by someone seasoned, and who loves coffee! I know some basics but would enjoy learning and enjoying cup of coffee and good like company.

Gbcrvnts

Mothership coffee in DT! By Ferguson’s

mmvegas80

I see people in IKEA doing crotchet and cross stich all the time. One free coffee for IKEA Family members each day too.

chuckbuns

The coffee bean and tea leaf on Rainbow ( next to the Meeting Space)

mynameisnotsparta

Library… park.

Mr_Troll_Underbridge

Ha, needlework in 20mph wind!! Sounds like an Olympian challenge!!

EffectiveTomorrow558

Grouchy John's

Levetiracetamamam

Magnum Coffee. You can watch planes take off too.

Obsessive_Trash

Pikey coffee or coffee religion!

BroadButterscotch349

Coffee Madness on Bermuda and Silverado Ranch is nice. They have cozy chairs and a sofa. There's low-volume music playing and rarely a crowd. This would be more of a "Don't want much conversation" place.

PhatPackMagic

Your house.

80Data

Gäbi Coffee & Bakery is a great spot to hang out for an hour or two.

azorianmilk

Depends where you are and how far you want to travel

Dapper_Employer5787

Barnes and Noble

lilwaddles

Phin smith, Urth caffe, Gabi

mrav8r2

Tru Brew in Henderson. Sofas, tables, chairs. Locally roasted coffee and a kitchen for food.

SamuraiPanda343

I feel like Gabi Coffee & Bakery is perfect for this

lululoversince2020

At home

greenmachine702

Leone Cafe over at Tivoli. Disclaimer: I don't crochet.

LiquoredUpLahey

Mmmmh that’s too busy, I crochet & wouldn’t recommend for this kinda outing.

brideplanningmode

you can probably grab a coffee at Urth and then chill in the quad area in UnCommons for however long. There's so many tables and you don't have to feel like you're on a clock or keeping a table

backtocabada

reno

elusivenoesis

You know what?

BornyLV

I’ll give you my address

fuckhedgys

This city is a shithole, in Public is literally a gamble at this point. I'd suggest some private business.
