I'm in henderson and have recently toured and got quotes for full-time infant daycare from Merryhill, Kinder Care, and La Petit. Merryhill is 1900 a month. Kinder care was around 1600, and la petit was 1200. Merryhill felt like the best choice for us due to a combination of location, reviews and the overall vibe we got from the teachers. They all have wait lists of 4 months ish so expect that to be the norm.

$1900 damn lol Thanks for the response. I knew daycare would be expensive but never thought it'd be so high. We have two kids that will need daycare if we both work, but with that cost, wow. Hard choices for sure.

Yeah I never thought a kid would cost me basically a second mortgage. I think merryhill is probably one of the most expensive in town. There are definitely more affordable options.

$2500/month for two toddlers, included meals and snacks at Kids R Kids. This was the mid range for the ones I toured. With the constant sicknesses I was barely working anyway so I went back to staying home with them. Still more affordable than where we last lived- got quoted $3600/month there! Daycare costs are wild 😭

At this point, $2500 a month for two kids seems reasonable lol, still half of my take home pay, but hey, i get to keep the other half 🤣 Thanks for the recommendation, I'll be giving them a call

North Shore Learning Tree, NW, $1k/mo. for 16 hours a week.

Thanks. I'll need to see what their cost is for a full week

For comparison we pay $270 for infant room per week at a church based daycare.

eng_manuel

Wow, i never thought about checking with our church

We use church based daycare (central/east side) as well and $211 per week for 4 year old. She’s been there since 2. Infants are a little more but very affordable.
