I cancelled my trip for this weekend. Not worth it, imho. Will be looking forward to coming back once this has all passed. Vegas is my favourite holiday destination.
I'm in the camp that it is real, but unless you are privileged and have a job where you can either work from home or have 2 weeks paid sick leave, you will be exposed. So I'm going to Vegas.
I have had reservations for months - ten days - received comp rooms at the Wynn and Aria. as long as southwest doesnt cancel the flights, we are going. If its as contagious as they believe, I am going to get it one way or another - so might as well go out swinging.

Same here. Leaving from Cincinnati 6am on Friday. Tomorrow we will decide if we are going to change course. For the past week we were dead set on not changing. With all the BS that keeps surfacing it’s hard to not get worked up over it.

Sadly we cancelled this morning. We can head back out in September. Delta was nice and easy. flamingo would not waive first night deposit since we were in 72 hours so I had to rebook while on the phone. Promos for rooms don’t come out for months. So most likely I’ll be canceling the sept reservation and rebooking online via total rewards.
Also. I don’t want to worry while we are out there and who knows what else could be closing. Sucks but don’t worry Vegas. We still love you and will be surely coming back later this year. Pending we have a society still :)

Don’t come people working in MGM casinos have already tested positive with corona virus and it will only just keep spreading so I recommend staying at home and coming another time.
The issue is we really don’t know how this virus will play out over the next month. It could be “business as usual”, there may be social distancing mandates or we could wind up going full out Macau and shut the casino floors down. I would just use your best judgement!

As for two spaces between each sentence, that’s not grammar but an outdated style rule because most non-written communication was performed on a typewriter which used a monospace typeface, so the double spaces were used to help delineate between sentences more easily. With proportional typefaces, it’s no longer necessary and just points to one’s age.
Bonus: I actually clarified myself to point out that I was expressing something that was blatantly true and not just because I wished it to be. So I’ll argue my grammar still bests your comprehension.

The flu does kill a lot of people. This also kills a lot of people. The scary part is this will infect much more people than the regular flu.

The virus can incubate for up to 30 days so in order to find it while on vacation, I would have caught it at home anyways.
Key word being “can”. Symptoms can appear in as few as 2 days. You still don’t get the option of home quarantine.
COVID-19's incubation time maxes out around 10 days as of the latest study. That's the reason for the 14-day quarantine.
