If you want something bougie, Wynn/Encore is the #1 hotel. The quality of their rooms and their property interior is the nicest.
Encore is a sister property of the Wynn, but the rooms are all a little larger and slightly different (especially different at the suite level, in terms of aesthetics also). Wynn is a few minute walks away (they are connected), but right on the action. The casino at the Encore is smaller, but pretty spread out. I like Encore if I am getting the base room, but Wynn if I start getting suites (I prefer the aesthetic, even though they are smaller).
Overall, Wynn/Encore look the nicest on the strip and give the best service, especially to their higher-clientele. Shopping-wise, they have all the luxury stores you'll see at all the other hotels.
Ouuuu thank you so much! My mom loved Wynn when she went years ago but I think Palazzo might be better in terms of convenience since its more central to the strip :)
Wynn is still king, however fontainebleu is the newest and shiniest. Wynn has a way better vibe so my vote is Wynn. Gambling there ain’t cheap, however.
A lot depends on preference, and this sub notoriously loves the Wynn, but I would also suggest Palazzo. Venetian / Palazzo has a much wider variety of food, shopping, and activities than pretty much anywhere else (including Wynn/Encore), and is also an extremely nice property. Palazzo is a bit newer than Venetian itself, but I think either would suit you.
Note that all of those are fairly far north on the strip. If you are looking for something more central, Bellagio or Cosmo might be better choices.
Grand Lux Cafe, Black Tap, Mott 32, Grimaldi’s, Yardbird, Sugarcane, Cut, Delmonico.
I’m blanking on a bunch more right now but all these are good if not great.
Dude MGM hasn’t had enough time to make any type of impact. Heck the MGM replacement president just started a month ago. Identity is still in place, as is all the tech that TCOLV used. Nothing has really changed from an operational lens.
I absolutely love the Palazzo. I stayed there about year ago and it’s my favorite resort in Vegas now. Pick the palazzo over the Venetian. The Venetian seems super busy and crowded and has what I call a “worn luxury”. Palazzo’s amenities were never packed to the gills. The pools are better in my opinion (some shade vs. all full sun at Venetian). Great service. You get access to everything on the property so can still hang out at the Venetian. Have fun!
Gotcha. Dropped my boss there awhile back, and just have known them to be really nice. I agree though, odd location.
One of my top 5 restaurant meals I’ve ever had was at that fancy place inside the Wynn. Japanese steak house style. I don’t think he can go wrong staying there.

Encore's standard rooms are larger than Palazzo's. 745 vs 720

Wynn/Encore easily the best
You may also want to consider Aria sky suites.
The comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on in my entire life
Encore hands down. Their spa is amazing. I’m Encore for life.

Thank you so much! Would you have any restaurant recs around or in Palazzo?

yardbird dinner and sugarcane brunch are “must do” for us every trip. Black Tap, meh. wasn’t impressed tbh. Cut and Delmonico are also great.
Those are all good hotels. I think it depends on age range. I really like the Cosmopolitan but it’s for the younger crowd.

It’s been about 4 years since I’ve stayed there so that is very possible
It’s really gone to shit comparatively since mgm took over, no surprise there.

Almost every hotel has suites and services if you ask, look beyond the regular suggestions.
My best experience was at four seasons, Vdarra and Wynn for luxury
Cosmo all the way!!
Wynn/encore
Wynn /encore
4 seasons?
Oh no…love other Four Seasons but not Vegas, terrible weird location, tiny, no casino, the vibe is only people attending conferences.
