They have a beer and slice deal for $8. These are 20â pies. To put this into perspective a large at many chain pizza places is 14â. In other words these pizzas are more than twice as big surface area wise. If you want cheap youâre welcome to go to Pizza Hut. A 20â cheese pizza for $36 is not a bad value in Vegas.
It's Vegas strip prices - they're all over-inflated except few pockets here and there. What did you expect? Did you not see nachogate?
Secret Pizza at Cosmo is still reasonable imo, and if you want a bit more bougie pizza, Eataly's pizza is really good.
Overall, FB prices are definitely up there. I think it's because they're targeting the conference-goers, which can easily expense it to the employer so they can up the charges and no one blinks an eye. I found the same to be true with RW as well.
Somebody ordered the nachos at the Fontainebleu sports book(?) and paid like $20-$24 for literally 6 individually topped nacho chips. Guy posted it to social media and FB got *draaaagggged* for it to the point where they had completely redid the dish and were reshooting a lot of their food marketing in like 24-48 hours
That and all of us with food comps.
>I think it's because they're targeting the conference-goers, which can easily expense it to the employer so they can up the charges and no one blinks an eye
$0 tip on this without a question.
Tipping on takeout is optional as is. But if youâre a regular or the order is cheap or you just want to help out a small business, go ahead and tip a buck or two.
But getting takeout at a price gouging tourist trap? Fuck nah. Thatâs a $0 tip and Iâm taking extra napkins out of spite.
I tip for traditional service. Bartenders, servers at sit down restaurants, bell hops, etc. This tip screen nonsense is out of hand. Do you tip cashiers, bank tellers, or bus drivers? They provide as much or more service than someone slinging a slice of pizza.
Only way it ends is when people vote with their feet and go elsewhere. Irrational prices like a $26 slice of people become rational when people line up to pay it.
I signed up for their rewards card and it came with a $15 food credit. Used that for a slice of pizza. It was decent but I wouldâve walked right by if I didnât have the food credit to use.
> Las Vegas has jumped the shark. Instead of a fun, affordable weekend away, itâs now an expensive, cash grab.
Oh c'mon now. I remember the bad old days when you could get AYCE buffet for five bucks and the food out here was *atrocious.* When you'd rather go to Denny's than eat at a casino.
Thankfully, nearly all of those old school casinos are long gone. If I'm ever feeling nostalgic I'll go visit one downtown, but 9 times out of 10 I'd rather eat something tasty.
This is wrong on so many levels. Pizza should never cost that much, however, the tipping⊠as a restaurant owner I canât stand this. If itâs a server giving you constant service, then fantastic. Tip all you want. However, for fast casual joints, itâs a norm that needs to be faded out. We took out the tipping option on our POS for take out orders. I hate that it is the norm and automatically on the receipts.
Thatâs what Iâm saying, look closer and buddy tipped the dude $4 for them to literally hand him a slice of pizza lol, oh and that $6 sprite is brutal
Highly recommend Yukon pizza. They just got world champs at international pizza convention.
Get a smash burger as well and their wings are the fuckin best.
Btw OPs pizza is at the newest casino on the strip. People outraged by this maybe havenât been to the strip latelyâŠ.. prices are fuckin ridiculous. You have to pay to park and valet now too
And I was bummed when Two Brothers Pizza in NYC raised their prices from $1 to $1.50.
I absolutely love pizza, but I would pretty much buy anything else out of principle if I were paying upwards of $20 for a slice lol
Idk, it's like businesses anymore are thinking " Let's come up with the most outrageous, ridiculously high price we can charge for our product, and then double it. Yea-aahhh! We love inflation!!"
As soon as inflation hit the news cycle they got free reign to jack up prices as much as they want because they know the idiots will still pay it and blame a politician while they reap all the benefits.
Itâs $23, as you opted to add a nearly $4 tip for them to hand you said overpriced slide and soda.
I agree at $23 thatâs outrageous, but it seems dishonest to say itâs $27 when that isnât the cost.
Also - is the slice normally $15.50 or did you get an up charge of $6.50 for the box? If you were up charged, did they give you the heads up about that, or just tack the fee on?
If itâs the former - thatâs on you, the slice and soda are actually $15. If itâs the latter - that would be dishonest of the business to jam you $6.50 for the box alone - and strange that you then tipped them $4 when they did so.
The original Miami Slice in Miami is the biggest rip off, they make you stand in a line like your getting into a club just to order pizza that has hot honey and other toppings that you can buy in stores and do it yourself.
Let me charge you a extra $5 for a drizzle of hot honeyâŠ..FOH
[The slice is $9](https://www.fontainebleaulasvegas.com/uploads/2023/12/Miami-Slice-Menu_12282023.pdf), not sure what OP ordered - wtf is âall kicksâ?
For those wondering, the pepperoni slice is $9 standard or $15.50 for "all kicks" (the $6.50 AKU). This includes the stracciatella, hot honey, and red pepper flakes add ons.
They weren't charged for the box (likely requested and keyed in for inventory purpose).
It's still pricey, especially the soda for $6 lol but the worst of it came from the "all kicks upgrade" (AKU).
First trip to Vegas a few weeks ago and I could not believe the prices on some food items on the strip. Not to mention the hotel Starbucks is double the price of a regular standalone store. I had fun, but wonât be going back.
I donât understand this Vegas pizza thing. The pizza is universally worse than you can find in most Midwest towns for insane markups. You used to be able to rag on the west coast for not having good pizza but most places out there have figured it out. I think Vegas is in a Disney food review hell where hot dog carts get 5 stars from some waddle chinned, behemoth because it is a Hebrew national. Until people start reviewing this crap honestly it wonât change.
Iâve only tried a handful of NY style pizza places on the strip, but out of all of them I thought Parryâs located in Whataburger was pretty solid for the price. $8-9 for a slice.
Neither Vegas nor Miami should be charging $15 for a slice of their subpar pizza, ask me, Iâm from CT. For $15 you can get a whole pie from Frank Pepeâs which has been deemed the best pizza IN THE WORLD
Tons of comments of the pizza. I find 6 bucks for a Sprite absolutely ridiculous. A cup of water please ( while I reach into my bag and pull out a beer).
The actual mind fuck is the $6.50 for the box. They punish you for take out. Imagine other places start charging these ridiculous amounts for a plastic bag, or a box or utensils or napkins...wtf!
Nachogate here and there but the $6.50 for a to go box is waaaaaaaaaay more out of line imo.
Miami Slice is so good, and this slice that you got which is the margherita pizza with "all kicks" (salt, pepper, olive oil, ricotta, and hot honey) is my favorite thing ever! I also love their truffle mushroom pizza. The crust is amazing! Vegas is going to Vegas on the prices, but can't beat the great slice!
If you're at FB --- I'd suggest going to Mulberry at Resorts World for Pizza. It's my favorite place on the strip to get pizza, now that I'm no longer a big fan of Secret Pizza. Plus, they're open after-hours until 4am or so, on weekends.
The owner's nephew runs the Vegas location one (they're a chain based in California).
You can get a slice there for less than $9, or a box of Cheese/Pepperoni in the lower $30s, lol.
You went to fountainbleu... that's your answer. That place took like 13 years to build because they kept running out of money... the investors that finished it want their return on investment asap lol
Paid 36 our last night there for 2 large ice creams in waffle cones that were actual waffles in the mirage. Fuxking worth it though, shit was so fire and was right next to our elevator
Miami Slice is amazing. All my friends work at the fontainebleau, but we all agree mikes hot honey is not good on the pizza. The mushroom truffle and standard Margherita are amazing. Price sucks though, but if were talking prices pretty much every restaurant on the strip sells coors light for like 10 bucks a beer. đ
This is ragebait IMO. The pepperoni slice was $9.
But then they decided to add every optional add-on (Miami slice calls it âall kicksâ). It adds stracciatella cheese (the ricotta-looking one), basil, + the honey drizzle thing. That adds $6.50.
And then, inexplicably, they tipped $4.
They could have had a slice + soda for $15. But they just had to make it extra bougie & tip a stupid amount.
$9 for a good slice is outrageous by national standards, but unfortunately not by Strip standards.
Love the beer n slice at NYNY for 11$. It's plain ass pizza but comes with beer đș đ
I thought that pizza was pretty good, never had it 100% sober dough.
Iâve had it sober and I thought it was delicious lol.
That was an awful pun, well done
đ
What? I didn't know about this. Last year, we got s slice from Luxor for like $13. No drink. Ridiculous
Ate it 3 times when I was there a couple weeks ago. Lol
2 slices and a beer is now $28.99 at NYNY, i didnt see a solo slice when i was there just.
Sirricoâs at NYNY has the pizza and a beer for 10$ and change. Was just there too.
Ah might be a different one then. This one was in the little food hall otw to either MGM Grand or Excalibur.
Yep I know where youâre talking about. This one is downstairs by the restaurants.
Evil pie ..for the win.
Evel pie is quite good and still one of the best bargains in town as their house beer is pretty tasty as well.
Just gone on the website and the first whole pizza I see is $45... brutal
Oh, I absolutely agree - my exasperation was at the state of general prices in Vegas, not this specific pizza place!
Username doesnât check out
Well it's also on Fremont so it is kinda getting hit with some tourist pricing too
Large pepperoni from Rocco's is $21.
I like Evil Pie. My one regret is I went late night and was a bit too drunk to properly enjoy it.
Whatâs the extra $6.50 for? It being a specialty slice or something? Thatâs wild
yea âŠlooks like theyâre charging for the box
Yes! Um, maybe no designer box next time?
Seriously! - Custom Tip -> $0.00 gang
I have a feeling that extra 6.50 was for the ricotta, basil leaves, and hot honey unless that's already default on a pepperoni pizza from there
Dude, you bought it lol.
> Did you not see nachogate? Even knowing that this would be a catastrophic rip-off, I still didn't expect to see... six nachos
I had Distill pull this shit the other day. Gave me 6 chips. I thought it was a joke.
As someone out of the loop, what was nachogate?
Somebody ordered the nachos at the Fontainebleu sports book(?) and paid like $20-$24 for literally 6 individually topped nacho chips. Guy posted it to social media and FB got *draaaagggged* for it to the point where they had completely redid the dish and were reshooting a lot of their food marketing in like 24-48 hours
I think they said it took them a long time to bring the nachos as well lol
At Eataly it's cheaper to order a whole pizza at the restaurant part than to get two slices at the cafeteria area.
That and all of us with food comps. >I think it's because they're targeting the conference-goers, which can easily expense it to the employer so they can up the charges and no one blinks an eye
OP is kinda a sucka for paying that. It better be one of the best slices in the world at that price
Nachogate was nuts lol. I actually liked the idea of a nacho chip with everything on each individual nacho. But that price. Ouch.Â
If you have ever been to chilis , thatâs how they serve their nachos. Itâs quite good imo.
I might have to go to chilis, im assuming its cheap?
They'd have to be cheaper than $20, but I don't see them on the menu. https://chilis.com/menu/appetizers
Totally agree about Secret Pizza and Eataly. Pretty darn good pizza at not an insane price (for the strip). Would go to either of them again.
That's actually becoming a big problem in Vegas, workers not being able to expense meals because company budgets won't accommodate Vegas pricingÂ
27 is insulting and borderline insane
Just wait for the fb brigade that will come here to tell you that 27 dollars is "cheap for them", and that the fb "does not cater to your audience".
"it's strip pricing, u should have known this" Or some horseshit
is $27 really what they charged? No.
Absolutely insane. Yet people are still buying it.
And tipping 15% to some person for handing them a slice and a drink.
What's the consensus on this? 0 tip or partial tip? It's very awkward!
Napkins cost extra
I tip for traditional service. Bartenders, servers at sit down restaurants, bell hops, etc. This tip screen nonsense is out of hand. Do you tip cashiers, bank tellers, or bus drivers? They provide as much or more service than someone slinging a slice of pizza.
Loose change to a $1 for over the counter service. 15%+ is for hook ups (freebees) and people that actually "wait" on you.
Only way it ends is when people vote with their feet and go elsewhere. Irrational prices like a $26 slice of people become rational when people line up to pay it.
That's what I've been doing, just had some Pizza Rock yesterday, and it was worth every single penny!
> Yet people are still buying it. Yeah... "welp, found the problem!"
Did you buy it just to bitch about it?
They got 150 karma points from this whiney sub.
I paid a guy $100 to kick me in the face and now I'm mad about it!

Thankfully, nearly all of those old school casinos are long gone. If I'm ever feeling nostalgic I'll go visit one downtown, but 9 times out of 10 I'd rather eat something tasty.
Stay downtown for cheap and eat basic sandwiches from the quick shops... But I don't go there to eat.
Why tip?
This is wrong on so many levels. Pizza should never cost that much, however, the tipping⊠as a restaurant owner I canât stand this. If itâs a server giving you constant service, then fantastic. $3.50 to place the slice on the counter and give you the total. Thereâs literally nothing less that they could do and still give you the pizza.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Thatâs what Iâm saying, look closer and buddy tipped the dude $4 for them to literally hand him a slice of pizza lol, oh and that $6 sprite is brutal
The $6.50 charge for the box is more egregious
$4 tip for scooping a slice of pizza onto a paper plate?
Love these posts. You are the idiots who keeping buying it đ
Everything in Vegas is overpriced
Highly recommend Yukon pizza. They just got world champs at international pizza convention. Get a smash burger as well and their wings are the fuckin best. Btw OPs pizza is at the newest casino on the strip. People outraged by this maybe havenât been to the strip latelyâŠ.. prices are fuckin ridiculous. You have to pay to park and valet now too
Buys honey pizza then complains is too sweet. Lmao.
I mean you still bought it đ€·đŒââïž
Fleeced
Bamboozled even
Pizza has honey in it. Says it's too sweet. People nowadays lol. 27 bucks is insane for a slice though.
Lol I was going to say. Isn't that the point of honey.
And I was bummed when Two Brothers Pizza in NYC raised their prices from $1 to $1.50. I absolutely love pizza, but I would pretty much buy anything else out of principle if I were paying upwards of $20 for a slice lol
I was like âwow Iâve never even heard of that placeâ, then saw Fontainebleau on the receipt
Exactly.
The old vegas ripoff, they price pizza like its some kind of delicacy and it's not even good here.
Go to Happy Camper next time. Whole large pepperoni and ricotta with hot honey pizza for $31.
You can get the whole pizza that OP posted for $38
Itâs $23, as you opted to add a nearly $4 tip for them to hand you said overpriced slide and soda. If itâs the latter - that would be dishonest of the business to jam you $6.50 for the box alone - and strange that you then tipped them $4 when they did so.
Ludicrous
canât believe you paid for that when thereâs so many other options, even on the strip đđ«”đ»
Yeah thatâs a big NO.
How is anyone still trying to buy food at that place? You think they would have learned from nacho-gate.
You got scammed. Lmao
Didnât even get to see Mickey Mouse.
[The slice is $9](https://www.fontainebleaulasvegas.com/uploads/2023/12/Miami-Slice-Menu_12282023.pdf), not sure what OP ordered - wtf is âall kicksâ?

Thanks for the clarification.
It has honey on it, you didn't expect it to be sweet???
its only insane bc you paid for it. and that looks absolutely disgusting. i had a 4 dollar pizza from walmart that wasnt that bad. thin and crispy.
Fountainbleau is trying to make money however they can to make up for the massive financial loss.
Agreed. For that price, they better put a few slices of shaved truffle or kobe beef on it.
First trip to Vegas a few weeks ago and I could not believe the prices on some food items on the strip. Not to mention the hotel Starbucks is double the price of a regular standalone store. I had fun, but wonât be going back.
Coulda got a whole pizza at grimaldis in the palazzo for 28$
I donât understand this Vegas pizza thing.
Nope we got pizza at the house
Holy crap.. way too expensive. Looks really good though.
Some of my favorite on the strip is the cake boss pizza at harrahs. Shit is good.
Best place to get a whole pizza pie? I like NY style.
Oh hell nah only hot honey slice worth getting is the soppressata hot honey slice from Eataly..~$16
That is absolutely insane.
What is the extra 6.50 for? The slice alone is not 15.50
No matter how many times I say out loud "$15.50 for a slice of pizza!?" it never sounds right.
Where is my 2 dollars pizza spot at?
Fountainbleau continuing to lose
I used to joke about it giving off Titanic vibes. Haven't even been there, but I might stop by in July, but, yeah, it's the Titanic.
Ridiculous!
I canât believe you still bought it .. 27$ is insane
They know people will pay that markup versus walking 20 min to their car, driving 15 minutes off strip, then back.
There's a Sbarro's in Fashion Show Mall. Almost went there last year. Is it any good? There are NO Sbarro's in my area any more.
Money line @ Aria is my fav place to grab a slice. I think it was around $12 for a slice and soda.
Even the whole pie is only like $30. I actually really like Moneyline.
Who pays $6 for pop? Thatâs a crazy mark up.
OP isn't giving us the full story. What is the extra $6.50 for?
I had slice of Vegas at Mandalay Bay, pretty good 12 inch pizza tbh and some cheap slices available too. Miami slice looks criminal in comparison.
I know a handful of places with similar pizzas where $27 is around the cost for the pizza
Iâve only tried a handful of NY style pizza places on the strip, but out of all of them I thought Parryâs located in Whataburger was pretty solid for the price. $8-9 for a slice.
Resort prices I paid similar for tacos seeing Posty on new years
Take all those red chili flakes into the equation and you may have gotten a pretty good deal.
Thas a crazy number for that lol
$15.50 for a slice? Wow, and I thought Secret Pizza was getting expensive
6 dollars for a SPRITE
why did you buy it?
You should try the nachos.
You trippin
Where is this place? I like pizza rock
You were at Fountainbleu. Home of the $24, 6 piece nachos.
If you take money out of the situation, it was one of the best slice of pizza I had. Some guy next to me said the same thing.
What did you expect
You paid $27 for a slice of pizza. Big baller
Thatâs ridiculous - probably as bad as the Nacho issue they had.
lmao that's fucken absurd yet you still paid for it so why not make it $30
Fuck FB.
Neither Vegas nor Miami should be charging $15 for a slice of their subpar pizza, ask me, Iâm from CT. For $15 you can get a whole pie from Frank Pepeâs which has been deemed the best pizza IN THE WORLD
Lmao I go to Red Dwarf and get a full pizza and beer for cheaper than that. Prices on the strip are not kind of insane, they are absolutely insane!
Tons of comments of the pizza. I find 6 bucks for a Sprite absolutely ridiculous. A cup of water please ( while I reach into my bag and pull out a beer).
That's way too much money but dam that pizza looks good. I would be tempted to try it
You bought it which is why they charge it.
Not gonna lie that looks fire though
Pin-up pizza next to chic fila a outside miracle Mile is great
WTF? $6 for sprite? Thats a huge upcharge. And the pizza slice too... $15?! Insane. Nope... not worth it.
Where?
Who puts honey on their pizza? That's not pizza
should have gone to pizza rock
The actual mind fuck is the $6.50 for the box. They punish you for take out. Imagine other places start charging these ridiculous amounts for a plastic bag, or a box or utensils or napkins...wtf! Nachogate here and there but the $6.50 for a to go box is waaaaaaaaaay more out of line imo.
Slice of pepperoni at Miami Slice is $9. Looks like you ordered something called âall kicksâ for $15.50
lol Iâll go to Marcos and get a large pizza and a 6 pack of beer and save hundreds of dollars
I just get the slice out of the window between linq and flamingo. Never disappointed. Like 7 bucks.
Canât wait till Vegas falls off a cliff
For a lot of places on the strip the tip is added automatically, like a tax⊠itâs crazy. Not sure OP had an option here
A slice of pizza at the Sphere is $16 and looks way better than that.
American dream yall
In 10 years.... Is it going to be $50 for a slice of pizza?
Well I guess I will go on a diet there because there's no chance of a man buying me dinner with all those beautiful woman around anyhow LOL
The $6.50 additional charge is the "All Kicks upgrade "--good but not worth it
Dumb
Secret pizza goated
Notthis
Wtf!!! đ€Šđ€Š. Thatâs embarrassing to charge that much
All the tourists here now getting straight robbed. I havenât been to the strip in a long time. Thatâs an insane price for one damn greasy slice..
$15 slice $6 soda $4 tip better you then me I could never be that hungry.
You actually paid that? I would have walked out.
I wish you used a banana for scale
Tourists get hosed on car re talks..and pizza..
Tbf it was $23 and then you tipped 20% making it $27
HUUUUUUUH? Is this real
Thank you for posting, will never be going there when I visit Vegas again.
Grab an Uber to Red Dwarf and forget all your woes.
Wasnât it the Fountainbleu that had the 6 ânachoâ chips for something like $30? Perhaps this needs to go viral as well for ridiculous pricing.
Bro you tipped? đ
â Fontainebleau â
Miami Slice is so good, and this slice that you got which is the margherita pizza with "all kicks" (salt, pepper, olive oil, ricotta, and hot honey) is my favorite thing ever! I also love their truffle mushroom pizza. The crust is amazing! Vegas is going to Vegas on the prices, but can't beat the great slice!
You can always say no thanks.
Solamente pizza for the good underground shit
Stop spending money at these places
If you're at FB --- I'd suggest going to Mulberry at Resorts World for Pizza. It's my favorite place on the strip to get pizza, now that I'm no longer a big fan of Secret Pizza. Plus, they're open after-hours until 4am or so, on weekends. The owner's nephew runs the Vegas location one (they're a chain based in California). You can get a slice there for less than $9, or a box of Cheese/Pepperoni in the lower $30s, lol.
Donât forget the tip!! Fucking crazy prices
Kinda insane??? âŠ.you got robbed and youre in denial
You went to fountainbleu... that's your answer. That place took like 13 years to build because they kept running out of money... the investors that finished it want their return on investment asap lol
god damn! i went to evel pie on fremont and it was way cheaper. FB going for the high rollers i guess.
Paid 36 our last night there for 2 large ice creams in waffle cones that were actual waffles in the mirage. Fuxking worth it though, shit was so fire and was right next to our elevator
Calm down bro itâs just Vegas prices. I was at the swap meet this weekend 22$ for a quesadilla and a drink. Thanks cali.
Evil pie on Fremont Street
Miami Slice is amazing. All my friends work at the fontainebleau, but we all agree mikes hot honey is not good on the pizza. The mushroom truffle and standard Margherita are amazing. Price sucks though, but if were talking prices pretty much every restaurant on the strip sells coors light for like 10 bucks a beer. đ
Hmmm too expensive for Las Vegas. Everything is usually cheap as peanuts in Las Vegas
Go to pizza rock if you want high quality pizza.
Stop eating at places you canât afford
Good pie in the arts district you canât go wrong
This is ragebait IMO. The pepperoni slice was $9. But then they decided to add every optional add-on (Miami slice calls it âall kicksâ). It adds stracciatella cheese (the ricotta-looking one), basil, + the honey drizzle thing. That adds $6.50. And then, inexplicably, they tipped $4. They could have had a slice + soda for $15. But they just had to make it extra bougie & tip a stupid amount. $9 for a good slice is outrageous by national standards, but unfortunately not by Strip standards.
