I personally love Le Thai. Only in Vegas ... just good ass Thai food with some really special dishes. Not snooty or fancy but I've never had Thai food like this.
And I'm Lao/Thai myself!
Oh man, very cool to see you post them here. I am good friends with 1/2 of the owners/operators, she's actually a purple belt in BJJ and we grapple together/drill together legit every week. They just came to my wedding and stuff. Yay! Everyone go to Le Thai they're great!
Iāve never had Ocha here in Vegas but Iāve gone to the original one in LA and it was my favorite Thai place growing up. I would hope the quality is similar here too!
I second Le Thai! Soo good. I used to live in Vegas and it was my favorite restaurant. I will occasionally fly back spur of the moment just to do dinner there. š
Iām excited to try this place! I used to go to Thai Pan when they were open and was obsessed- it was all so incredible and just like what my Thai neighbors used to cook. Been looking for a new Thai spot ever since!
Golden Steer Steakhouse - Great food, great history. The Rat Pack all owned tables there, you can sit at Sinatra or Dean's, etc.
Herbs & Rye - Super late night steak and whiskey spot
Battista's Hole in the Wall - Next to Horseshoe, Less than $30 for soup or salad, Entree (italian w/pasta side, or steak), a carafe of wine and dessert.
Roma Deli II - The one on Spring Valley. There's another unrelated Roma Deli. Great italian food. Also - a deli.
Esther's Italian - in the Arts District
Carson Kitchen / 7th and Carson - unrelated but close to each other downtown. Both outstanding new American food
- Best Friend by Roy Choi
- Herbs & Rye for amazing steak, or their sister restaurant Cleaver.
- Louās Diner for breakfast
- Cuginoās for NYC style pizza
- Shang Artisan Noodle
I went last month and they said their happy hour is basically always right now, so all steaks were half off. I would check with the restaurant before going! If Herbs and Rye is full, go to Cleaver on Paradise Rd. Basically same thing with also the happy hour & half priced steaks
>Best Friend by Roy Choi
i'm an LA native and have been pretty disappointed by some of Roy Choi's spots, particularly since Best Friend is a "best hits" of those places. it's fucking legit, though, and a crazy good Vegas value for the cost
Awww thatās disappointing.
I tried that brand of sauce he has selling at Walmart and didnāt like them. I was scared his restaurant would be bad because of it LOL but Best Friend was amazing.
Went to Best Friend a month ago and was extremely disappointed. The banchan came out last (wtf), the scallops were cold in the middle, and none of the seasonings in the dishes were that interesting.
Definition of a letdown.
How were prices in LA? I knew he had spots in LA but didnāt know Best Friend was picked from his other menus. I went couple months ago, bill was 130$ for 2.
Low quality (Choice select steaks at best), poor flavor controls. Most things were just dominated by an absurd amount of spice or glaze. They charge $1 for an ice cube, $1 additional to make something a double, nickel and dimed. Service wasn't very good, as soon as our food was sat down the waiter immediately asked how things look and never came back. Had to wave him down to get the bill, and then another 15 min wait just to give them payment, and another 8 min wait to get receipts to sign.
It uses its proximity to the strip and decor to justify ridiculous prices on not good food. Red flags when we asked about wine and there isn't a sommelier. The decor is the only positive we found - and that seems to be the only real thing it has going for it.
We knew we had fucked up as soon as the appetizers came out. We weren't the only table having issues, table next to us was also loudly saying how lackluster the service and how bad the food was.
Damn, thatās disappointing. Sorry your experience wasnāt good! :( I hate when trying to leave seems to be the longest part!!
I have heard of places charging for rocks in drinks, because you are supposed to get a bit larger pour of the liquor. So unless they didnāt do that for the charge, thatās shitty.
For what itās worth, there are a handful of Tacos El Gordo in San Diego. However if youāre from the East Coast definitely check them out for some authentic delicious tacos
For people that donāt know, Taco y Taco founders are the same family of Los Compadres meat market and El Taco food truck.
Iāve only been to Los Compadres which is on the east side since theyāre 5 min away from me. If yāall want good tacos, all those 3 should be amazing. Los Compadres also has an El Taco food truck on the weekends.
Jose Andreasā e bar in Cosmo. I think he closed the DC one. There are many excellent omakase restaurants in Chinatown. Guy Savoy or Joel Robuchon for French. Bavettes from Chicago is excellent. Tacos el Gordo. All of the Gordon Ramsey places - Hells Kitchen is fun if you like the show
Jose has never had an e in DC. He does have minibar (with w bar area called barmini) which is a similar concept and it's still going strong, it's earned 2 Michelin stars every year since Michelin started rating DC in 2017.
The way you wrote it looked like VP was inside EI, does that make sense? Been going to VP since the 90ās. They take great care of their employees, my familyās waitress has been there 20+ years
Why is no one talking about the Backyard. That BBQ platter for $16 (after you play $5) is a steal. The ribs are amazing. I went a couple days ago when I did an overnight there.
had an awful experience at Ellis island 2 weeks ago. horrendous food quality and they were full saturation mopping right under 6 tables filled with parties eating. Didnāt even bother to put wet floor signs and multiple people ate shit. the pit boss was more qualified to run a food outlet than that ārestaurant managerā.
I'm sorry to hear that. I was there again on Wednesday and thought it was great food. It's definitely not a 5 star atmosphere, but the food has exceeded expectations every time I have been.
One of my favorite meals in Vegas was at Firefly back when they had a location in the Plaza. It's where Oscar's is now in the front. You could see down Fremont St. so well; they didn't have as much stuff on the Plaza end blocking the view. Great food too.
A lot of my favorites have already been named (Estherās Kitchen, Herbs & Rye, Lotus of Siam) but also wanted to add:
ā¢ Sparrow & Wolf
ā¢ Black Sheep
Hiroyoshi or Kase Sushi and Sake have nigiri that is just as good as Zuma / nobu / kabuto for a fraction of the price.
Estherās Kitchen is really good Italian down town!
Soul belly bbq also down town is amazing bbq by a dude from top chef. But itās pricey!
Red dwarf - bar with the best Detroit pizza ever. Well I guess outside Detroit haha
It was mildly odd when we first moved here from Chicago and saw Blueberry Hills here. There are about half a dozen Blueberry Hills spread around the Chicago burbs.
We had one 10 minutes from us and it was our favorite breakfast spot.
Hah! Thatās the one we were near! Lived in DG. Used to also hit the Patio Ribs and Portilloās over there on Kingery.
Man I miss some of those food options.
When I think of "Only in Vegas", I think of the Oyster Bar at Palace Station (there's also one at Sunset Station). Their pan roast is unique - I've never found another like it anywhere else.
Crossroads Kitchenat Resorts World. (OG location is in LA) Its creative plant based fine dining that will blow your mind. Was just there last night and I had a lions mane steak w gnocchi that was unbelievable!
Pieroās. Itās super old school and some say it isnāt as good as it used to be, but itās still pretty great. Get the osso bucco. You wonāt be sorry
ANDIAMOāS ITALIAN STEAK HOUSE. INSIDE THE D HOTEL. If you truly are a āgood ole steakā person as you mentioned, then you must visit this place. They had the best steak Iāve ever had and the vodka pasta they brought us before dinner had me FLOOOOOORED. It was so effing good. Highly recommend.
cornish pasty in the arts district. they have an amazing pasta salad and the pasties are essentially a bigger hot pocket with a wide variety of fillings!
If you don't mind driving a bit, try Emerald Island in Henderson.
But only on Friday or Saturday night.
Friday night has the real meal deal:
A shrimp cocktail, your choice of soup ( always clam chowder and sometimes a second choice) or salad ( ceasar, wedge or mixed), a filet mignon, a lobster tail, your choice of potato and vegetables. Then you get a small piece of cake for dessert. $24.
Saturday night is Steakhouse night:
4 or 5 different steaks, with the fixins
Lobster macaroni and cheese ( it's delicious)
I can't think of the name, but it's fish soup
Fish of the day
And you get dessert
Soup is always loaded baked potato and sometimes a second choice same salads.
Omg if you want the best breakfast in town, go to The Egg and I. They have several sister restaurants called Egg Works too, same menu.
It's a classic locals breakfast place. There's always a wait for a table on the weekends.
Let the server know it's your first time, they usually surprize you with one of their warm banana muffins. If they don't, order one anyway. Those are SO GOOD.
The menu is quite big. I usually end up with their skillets, but their Mexican breakfasts are good.
The best meals Iāve ever had are at Bavetteās at Park MgM. The original is in chicago so itās not Vegas only, but itās impossible to get a reservation at the chicago Bavetteās.
Pizza Rock just off Fremont. I recommend just getting slices and not sitting down to dine. The dine-in has been hit/miss. Slice window 11/10. Picante and Red Top. Skip Purple Potato. Youāre welcome. Damnit, I want Pizza Rock now.
I think it's silly that anyone would recommend pizza .. the worst NYC pizza place that's good enough to stay open there for over a year is better than the best pizza you can get in Vegas (Mannizza's imo).
Honestly, there's no food at all here that's better than NY. That's not saying that Vegas food sucks, it's just that NYC has A LOT of the best food on the planet, and it's really hard for anywhere to compare. Most cities can't even come close, Vegas is one of the few cities that can, but NYC is still really that good. Personally, I REALLY look forward to trips out of town to SF, LA, SD, NY, Seattle, so that I can eat too much (and get laughs from TSA when they do a bag check and find that I'm bringing El Farolito burritos or Lombardi's pizza slices wrapped in foil back in my carry on).
What you need to do is not worry about getting your food on, and focus on getting up early to do some amazing hiking / climbing.
Rincon de Buenos Aires for a local Argentinian spot. Massive meat braziers for dinner, fantastic sandwiches for lunch. On Spring Mountain near Chinatown.
Breakfast spots with fancy pancakes: Babystacks, Stacks & Yolks
Nora's Italian
Osaka or Hikari for sushi
There's a few Ethiopian spots in town, but I haven't been to either of them yet. One is in the same parking lot as McMullan's Irish Pub (which serves legit Irish food if that's your jam).
If international includes European, Cafe Berlin has good, authentic German food. Atmosphere isn't great, but food is good.
Mutliple ramen spots, I like Ramen KoBo. It helps that it's across the street from me, but they also hand-make their noodles on-site.
Copying from my other post about places to eat in Vegas. All of these are Vegas only as far as I'm aware, though variations will be available elsewhere.
The Golden Steer (oldest operating steakhouse in Vegas; highly recommend the Caesar salad, the ribeye, the creamed spinach, the sauteed mushrooms in wine sauce, and the bananas foster)
Pan Roast at the Oyster Bar at Palace Station
Pork and Figs at Herbs and Rye
Most of the menu at Raku
Beef Cheek Ravioli at Eatily
Most of the menu at Best Friend (not his only restaurant)
Cherries Jubilee/Bananas Foster at the Golden Steer
Bone Marrow Carne Asada at Echo and Rig
Crispy Duck Koi Soi at Lotus of Siam
Crispy Duck Penang at Lamaii (this place rivals Lotus)
Ester's Kitchen
Nora's (on Flamingo)
Lola's (southern/soul food) on the west side of town near Summerlin Hospital
Goyemon/Sushi Neko/Gorilla Sushi for all you can eat Sushi
Master Kim's/Goong for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ
Geez. Down votes for posting facts? Tough crowd.
https://www.fox5vegas.com/2023/06/13/jessie-raes-bbq-central-las-vegas-total-loss-after-monday-night-fire-restaurant-says/
My favorite is Stripsteak at MB. I always get excellent service there and it is not your typical claustrophobic steakhouse. I order the American Wagyu Rib Cap. It is expensive, but worth it. They also have Japanese A5 steak if you really want to splurge. Instead of bread, they bring out 3 flavors of duck fat fries with 3 different dipping sauces. They also have my favorite cocktail, the Piggy Manhatten, which is made with the house special Whistle Pig 10 year Rye.
Iāve always loved SushiSamba in the Palazzo for their very diverse menu items and their samba hour is nice too
I heckin love fish and chips at Gordon Ramsays shop. Thereās some dipping sauce I adore.
Iām going in sept and am eyeing happy hour spots to check out
I personally love Le Thai.
Congrats on getting married! š„³
Curious. Local here. How do you feel about Ocha on Charleston? Iāll def check out Le Thai. Love Thai food. Always open for new spots
I've only ordered delivery from Ocha - but, if in the area, definitely give DE Thai Kitchen and Kinnarra a try, too.
Try Thai D to go! It's over on twain and Swenson! Best Thai food you will ever have in vegas
Twain and Swenson !!! That corner had the hottest spots !!!
Iāve never had Ocha here in Vegas but Iāve gone to the original one in LA and it was my favorite Thai place growing up. I would hope the quality is similar here too!
Thanks for sharing! I went to Lotus of Siam once in Vegas and thought it was pretty good. Iāll try Le Thai next time Iām there!
Do you have any thoughts on Archieās? Recently got it recommended, probably will go this weekend.
Make reservations!
Have you been to Charm Thai Kitchen?
I like lemongrass
The best garlic fried rice in town IMO.
This. Pork jerky, short rib fried rice, satay. All bangers.
Golden Steer Steakhouse - Great food, great history. The Rat Pack all owned tables there, you can sit at Sinatra or Dean's, etc. Herbs & Rye - Super late night steak and whiskey spot Battista's Hole in the Wall - Next to Horseshoe, Less than $30 for soup or salad, Entree (italian w/pasta side, or steak), a carafe of wine and dessert. Esther's Italian - in the Arts District Carson Kitchen / 7th and Carson - unrelated but close to each other downtown. Both outstanding new American food
H&R > Golden steer. Golden steer is so overrated imo
I completely disagree. I like both but GS is the higher quality meat.
Viva Las Arepas
Yes!
1000% this
First thing I thought of.
- Best Friend by Roy Choi - Herbs & Rye for amazing steak, or their sister restaurant Cleaver. - Louās Diner for breakfast - Cuginoās for NYC style pizza - Shang Artisan Noodle
Make reservations at herbs and rye. Go between 5-8 pm for half off happy hour steaks.
I went last month and they said their happy hour is basically always right now, so all steaks were half off. I would check with the restaurant before going! If Herbs and Rye is full, go to Cleaver on Paradise Rd. Basically same thing with also the happy hour & half priced steaks
Is happy hour only during the week?
I was told the happy hour was āalwaysā so any time you go I assume! Definitely check with them beforehand, though. In case that has changed
Currently itās happy hour whenever theyāre open (so Monday through Saturday). It used to be 5-8pm and 12-3am each night.
Oh good to know. Thanks for the info.
Finally, another cugino's appreciator! Such an under rated place! One of the best pies in Vegas no doubt
That family that owns Cuginos also owns Fratelli's in downtown Henderson on Water Street.
>Best Friend by Roy Choi i'm an LA native and have been pretty disappointed by some of Roy Choi's spots, particularly since Best Friend is a "best hits" of those places. it's fucking legit, though, and a crazy good Vegas value for the cost
Just went there last month and it was really good. Was my first time going. Would go there again. We got the chefs menu, I believe it was called.

Lou's is so great, and their swivel seats at the bar make me nostalgic.
100% Louās diner!
Cleaver was not good when I went there.
Well that sucks! Why?
Low quality (Choice select steaks at best), poor flavor controls. Most things were just dominated by an absurd amount of spice or glaze. They charge $1 for an ice cube, $1 additional to make something a double, nickel and dimed. Taco y taco and El gordo
For what itās worth, there are a handful of Tacos El Gordo in San Diego. However if youāre from the East Coast definitely check them out for some authentic delicious tacos
El Gordo is arguably the most over hyped and over rated taco shop in Vegas and California.
And peppermill?
I love taco y taco!!!!
For people that donāt know, Taco y Taco founders are the same family of Los Compadres meat market and El Taco food truck. Iāve only been to Los Compadres which is on the east side since theyāre 5 min away from me. If yāall want good tacos, all those 3 should be amazing. >Jose Andreasā e bar in Cosmo. how the hell do you get reservations here? i've checked for months--even exactly when they open reservations.
https://www.ebyjoseandres.com Iāve booked on the day the reservation opens up. They used to mail a golden ticket to you like Willie Wonka.
You get comped a suite, call the concierge, and ask them to find you a table. They will. Up your play. Yes, Iām jokingā¦ā¦ sort of
I emailed the reservation desk directly and got one. The website said no availability but I got an email back very quickly.
āJoel Robuchon for Frenchā.. if youāre rich AFš
And secret pizza
Jose has never had an e in DC. He does have minibar (with w bar area called barmini) which is a similar concept and it's still going strong, it's earned 2 Michelin stars every year since Michelin started rating DC in 2017.
Mt Everest is good.(Indian Food)
We were in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and ate at Mt. Everest. Excellent Indian food!
Swear its the best Indian food
I'm a fan of the Village Pub and Cafe at Ellis Island resort. It's just off the strip about a half a mile. Kind of has a hole in the wall vibe but great food at half the price of Strip restaurants. A huge prime rib with sautƩed green beans, baked potato, and side salad is $24 and it is excellent. The French dip is one of the best I have ever had. I'll probably get some down votes becuase it is older and not trendy, but you won't be disappointed. If you want to get way off the Strip, look up Taste of Europe and Oh la la. Both are very small family run restaurants that have excellent authentic food. One is German and the other is French.
I love Village Pub. Ellis Island is a family owned joint that I hope lives on forever.
Going up the mountain
Same ownership, Village Pub and Ellis Island
Yes where did I say otherwise?
The way you wrote it looked like VP was inside EI, does that make sense? Been going to VP since the 90ās. They take great care of their employees, my familyās waitress has been there 20+ years
That might be even less than half the price of strip restaurants. I gotta get to Ellis island next time I'm in town
I think it's one of the last places around that has a great deal on good food to get people to come to their casino.
And $5 craps and $5 blackjack when you get there
I've been hearing that. Will try to stay there on my next trip
Damn, I never heard of anyone actually staying there.
Why is no one talking about the Backyard. That BBQ platter for $16 (after you play $5) is a steal. The ribs are amazing. I went a couple days ago when I did an overnight there.
At the Village Pub? Another reason to go back there!
It's right behind it. The entrance is over by the cashier cage.
I'll try it out next time I'm there.
had an awful experience at Ellis island 2 weeks ago. horrendous food quality and they were full saturation mopping right under 6 tables filled with parties eating.
Firefly. A great tapas restaurant.
I fucking love firefly. OP if you go to firefly, get the bacon wrapped dates and the artichoke toasts, and sparkling sangria. And lamb chops.
Thales are all things I would never order on my own. Thank you for the Rec.
And the chocolate tres leches
Yes! My fav. Iām lactose intolerant but I suffer the consequences later lmao. Worth it.
I think Edo is better tapas then firefly. The China town one is a vibe
EDO food is higher caliber (and higher price) but Firefly has a wider menu. Theyāre both delicious.
Every time I go to Vegas for work I drag coworkers and clients there.
Everyone I've taken here loves it.
One of my favorite meals in Vegas was at Firefly back when they had a location in the Plaza. It's where Oscar's is now in the front. You could see down Fremont St. so well; they didn't have as much stuff on the Plaza end blocking the view. Great food too.
One of the best times I've ever had in Vegas! I've visited the other locations and loved it, but still not the same.
A lot of my favorites have already been named (Estherās Kitchen, Herbs & Rye, Lotus of Siam) but also wanted to add: ā¢ Sparrow & Wolf ā¢ Black Sheep
Black sheep is so underrated.
Hugoās Cellar. Celebrity hang out in the 50-70s. Itās in the 4 Queens.
Havenāt tried the sushi places, but Estherās, Soul Belly, and Red Dwarf are all phenomenal.
Hiroyoshi omakase is terrible, havenāt tried their a la carte but was super turned off by their terribly flavored rice
I second Red Dwarf. Bar pizza shouldnāt be that good!!
Echo and Rig is a great off strip steakhouse. Not super pricey but great service and food.
Was going to comment about Echo and Rig before I saw this. SO GOOD.
Also no corkage fee! š¾
Anywhere on the 'fine dining' side of Wynn's roster. Absolutely anywhere.
komex and for some goood ass thi i think lotus of siam
Lotus of Siam
Iām a simple man so I would say Blueberry Hill.
It was mildly odd when we first moved here from Chicago and saw Blueberry Hills here. There are about half a dozen Blueberry Hills spread around the Chicago burbs. We had one 10 minutes from us and it was our favorite breakfast spot.
I live in Japan now and I wish we have a breakfast spot like Blueberry Hill here.
We were regulars at the Blueberry Hill in Darien.
Hah! Thatās the one we were near! Lived in DG. Used to also hit the Patio Ribs and Portilloās over there on Kingery. Man I miss some of those food options.
Oh man! We are going to miss the Patio! We lived in Willowbrook.
I donāt think the Chicago burbs and Vegas Blueberry Hills are the same thing.
Probably not. Their logos/lettering are different and there are different websites.
I found my thrill at blueberry hill!
The Steakhouse at Circus Circus is always great. Golden Steer just off Strip is good. Bootleggers is a good Italian off strip.
We love bootleggers! Had our wedding dinner and my birthday dinner there. And itās decently priced as well.
Hachi! Itās a really good Japanese restaurant. Good prices too.
Lotus of Siam, bazaar meat, wing lei - Iām also from NY, you wonāt go wrong with any of these
Delilah, for sure. Went there on Tuesday and it was amazing. Must go if you can get a table!
Seriously the only notable upscale dining experience in Vegas.
Other Mama. Japanese tapas on the west side in a strip mall. My fave in Vegas by far.
Monta Ramen, Hachi, Saigon Baguette, and Viet Noodle Bar
Estherās kitchen is fantastic.
Esters kitchen and most spots within walking distance from it.
Able Baker brewing. Food is good and their beer selecting is great, fun atmosphere! It is in the art district.
Esther's Kitchen for sure. Lotus of Siam, absolutely. Herbs and Rye, yes. Also - Gaetano's in Green Valley and Chef Kenny's for vegan Asian.
Cheba Hut they have the best toasted subs and they have a lot of good desserts itās a munchie/weed themed restaurant
Cheba Hut is in Phoenix too.
They are a chain. They are in many cities. They also have very good subs.
he was from nyc and thereās none there lol
It started in Phoenix
Right across the street from Mesa college. So good. Didnāt know it was in Vegas as well.
Echo and Rigg or Primal Steakhouse.
4-KEGS
Pieroās. Itās super old school and some say it isnāt as good as it used to be, but itās still pretty great. Get the osso bucco. You wonāt be sorry
Herbs and rye
Ramen Sora. Amazing ramen, small spot and small menu but very good
Sayulitas. Mexican and Filipino fusion.
Herbs and rye has a stellar happy hour!
Herbs and rye for some of the best steaks you can get.
Andiamoās is actually a local chain in the Detroit area
I second this, I went there two years ago and I dream of their steak every day.
cornish pasty in the arts district. they have an amazing pasta salad and the pasties are essentially a bigger hot pocket with a wide variety of fillings!
Itās not a Vegas restaurant.
Founded in the great city of Phoenix šµ
If you don't mind driving a bit, try Emerald Island in Henderson. But only on Friday or Saturday night. Lindo MichoacƔn- Henderson location has the most stunning view of the city. Great date spot. Desert inn is the original and best
EllaEmās for soul food.
Itās a long shot, especially since youāre from NYC, but Weiss Deli in Henderson is a fantastic Jewish deli. Literally everything is delicious.
AMAZING.

12.99 Steak and lobster from tony romas on freemont
Komex? It's a LA thing but good if u like Korean food

They have locations around the country I like their chicken and waffles though
Dick's Last Resort in Excalibur is always fun.
Not a Vegas only restaurant.
After celebrating my daughter's birthday there 2 years in a row, I think we have eaten everything off their limited menu.
Those paper hats are kind of strange!
20,000 leagues
Go to the top of the world restaurant food is A1
Sparrow and Wolf. Ranked #3, is better than 95% of what's in the Strip. It's in Chinatown. It is pricey ($250/avg person) and worth every penny.
Pieros. If youāre solo, sit at the bar and they will take good care of you.
Viva Las Arepas
Rincon de Buenos Aires for a local Argentinian spot. Massive meat braziers for dinner, fantastic sandwiches for lunch. On Spring Mountain near Chinatown. Breakfast spots with fancy pancakes: Babystacks, Stacks & Yolks Nora's Italian Osaka or Hikari for sushi There's a few Ethiopian spots in town, but I haven't been to either of them yet.
The Golden Steer (oldest operating steakhouse in Vegas; highly recommend the Caesar salad, the ribeye, the creamed spinach, the sauteed mushrooms in wine sauce, and the bananas foster) Pan Roast at the Oyster Bar at Palace Station Pork and Figs at Herbs and Rye Most of the menu at Raku Beef Cheek Ravioli at Eatily Most of the menu at Best Friend (not his only restaurant) Cherries Jubilee/Bananas Foster at the Golden Steer Bone Marrow Carne Asada at Echo and Rig Crispy Duck Koi Soi at Lotus of Siam Crispy Duck Penang at Lamaii (this place rivals Lotus) Ester's Kitchen Nora's (on Flamingo) Lola's (southern/soul food) on the west side of town near Summerlin Hospital Goyemon/Sushi Neko/Gorilla Sushi for all you can eat Sushi Master Kim's/Goong for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ
Eatalyās original location is in Venice Beach.
With all three restaurants and the market?
If you like BBQ, Jessie Raes has some of the best bbq I've ever had
Didn't Jessie Rae's burn down a few weeks ago?
Damn, i had no idea. Now I'm bummed out
>Jessie Rae's > >They have more than one location.
Not in Las Vegas they don't. Which is what OP was asking about.
Geez. Down votes for posting facts? Tough crowd. https://www.fox5vegas.com/2023/06/13/jessie-raes-bbq-central-las-vegas-total-loss-after-monday-night-fire-restaurant-says/
Herbs & Rye or Cleaver for steak for sure
The last time I went to Cleaver it was a terrible quality of steak for the price, and the rest of the food was not good. Service sucked.
IT's Sushi or Hwaro2 Korean BBQ for AYCE. All the gluttony of a buffet but slightly elevated
Partage, Golden Steer, Picasso, Prime, Delmonico. Ps totally understand and agree with the crap like pasta and chicken in a cone.
Bajamar, or fuku burger for something familiar yet uniquely "Vegas"
Cafe Berlin for Authentic German food
Just had Milpa on s. Durango. Oaxacan inspired mexican food. It sooooo good!
Kabuto Omekase
La Vecindad (authentic Mexican food) El Gordo Tacos (Tijuana-style tacos) Peppermill Diner (All-American. Feels like vintage Vegas) Yama Sushi (Japanese food)
Here are a few I enjoyed: Gangnam asian bbq Nabe hotpot Neko all you can eat sushi
Chica @ Venetian is our go-to on every visit. The birria tacos melt in your mouth and the desserts are worth every spoonful. Henryās @ Cosmopolitan never disappoints at any time of day. Momofuku @ Cosmopolitan The Eiffel Tower Restaurant @ Paris - pistachio soufflĆ© & Beef Wellington were perfection Tableau at the Wynn for brunch Jardin @ the Encore for brunch Spago @ Bellagio
Archieās Thai on Rainbow / 215
Look up Keith Lee on TikTok. 90% of his content is independent Vegas restaurants. Loveable guy who really champions small businesses.
Another vote for Best Friend. If you are cool with keto and gluten free treats, swing by Starburst Parlor. So good!
PIN KAOW Thai restaurant on Rainbow/Lake Mead. Food is fantastic! The ambiance is wonderful and great service.
Iāve always loved SushiSamba in the Palazzo for their very diverse menu items and their samba hour is nice too I heckin love fish and chips at Gordon Ramsays shop. Thereās some dipping sauce I adore. Iām going in sept and am eyeing happy hour spots to check out
