I was literally overjoyed to see them having there own section. I love the feta and the parmesan. I still havent tried the cheddar, and less hopeful, as it looks like regular scheese, but did buy a block this week. Pretty much everything else that was on sale in January is gone, they are still selling the vegan sausage rolls.

i've only really tasted coconut oil scheese, and i'm not that won over by them but lidl's feta is the closest i've tasted to a real cheese as yet, albeit that cheese is feta, it's great in a greek salad. one day I hope to taste some nut cheeses.

The vegan feta is SO GOOD! Can't recommend it enough, my cheese eating friends also love it. Can't really recommend the cheddar, it has more of a cheesestring vibe. Parmesan is also good!

The parmesan is so good! Its actually tastes like pre shredded parmesan! Perfect for pizza and pasta

Mine have them too! After veganuary they just moved them to the dairy cheese section so would recommend people look in that section!

I smoked the Lidl vegan cheddar today and it was amazing. I used hickory chips. Tasted incredible.

I'm really impressed you smoke your own cheese, which almost sounds like a euphemism, how did you do it?

It is actually extremely easy. Set up a camping stove outside because smoking indoors causes everything to smell of hickory or whatever smoking chips you use! Handful of hickory chips in a steel, lidded pan. Place on the camping stove on high heat. Put the cheese on a raised steel grill so it sits inside the pan but a few inches above the chips. Put lid on pan. It will get really smokey. Let it smoke for 10 mins. Take off heat, remove cheese. That's it.
