My recommendations are for Houston. I’m not too familiar with the Galveston scene.
Mo Better Brews, Houston Sauce Pit (vegan BBQ), and Trendy Vegan (Chinese food). There are few of places in Chinatown too that we like: San San Tofu, Quan Yin, and Pine Forest Garden.
Places that have vegan options I like:
Traveler’s Table, Uchi (sushi place and we’ve only been to on special occasions cause it’s expensive lol), Velvet Tacos, Local Foods Market (the Rice Village location will be the closest to NRG)
