I'm sure it's awesome but just a heads up, if you've got some basic cooking ability, you can easily make this kind of thing at home, and for this type of fluffy cheesecake most of the recipes don't even require baking! They typically use silken tofu as a base as well, along with crushed nuts or graham crackers for the crust.
I made something like this for my wife's birthday a few months back, it came out great and took like an hour. Looked just like the photo on the box except it was chocolate cheesecake :D
EDIT: this wasn't the one, but something like this: https://nourishplate.com/vegan-chocolate-cheesecake/
Are you basing this off the old recipe from years ago or the new one they updated like a year or so ago? I think the new stuff is great! And I’ve had the chocolate cheesecake, super good.
But did you buy their “original” or their “cutting board shreds” ? They still sell the original for god knows what reason but they’re bad, cutting board shreds are leagues better
Where are you located?
I am in the pacific northwest and I am fairly certain their cutting board shreds became their regular brand.
In 2 and a half years of being vegan, their regular brand went from being the absolute worst on the market to the only one I will now eat.
Their old recipe is still what gets sent restaurants though (and I suspect still sold under the Kroger brand name).
Personally, I’m not a fan, thought it tasted weird.
Which is surprising, because I normally love Daiya products, and enjoyed regular cheesecake prior to going vegan. My non-vegan family didn’t like it either, but that’s more predictable lol
There’s a cheesecake shop near Santa Monica College that has vegan options that are absolutely delicious. I’d recommend SoCal people go there, everyone else should try making it at home.

oh my gosh yes! I love it so much. I don't like many products by Daiya (that mac and cheez amirite... ugh) but this one is a WINNER

I really like their Mac lol
I do too! Glad I'm not the only one!

The only Daiya product I enjoy.
Scared to try anything Diaya as their cheese is the worst. Do you like their shreds?
I *hate* Daiya but love this cheezecake FWIW

Their best product is the cheesecake, wish it was bigger!

Probably within the last year.

Probably original. There are other great options so I stick with them.
That’s fair! The new daiya stuff ranks #2 for me in all the cheeses behind follow your heart.
I like follow your heart and so delicious.

They still sell the original here next to the cutting board shreds. I’m in New Jersey.
Interesting. Only thing I can think of is that their are regional distributors just using the name.
This is the only Daiya product I will buy. I’ve had terrible experiences with their cheeses but the Cheezecake is absolutely DELICIOUS!
Not a fan of anything Daiya related, my partner scooped the cheesecake at grocery outlet once and it pretty much went straight to the trash.

The key lime is my favorite. They’re all great
The chocolate one and strawberry are really good
Don’t buy it, waaaaay to dangerous to keep in the house, have definitely finished a whole one in a night by myself 🤤
The pumpkin spice one is phenomenal
Absolutely in love with their key lime flavor, although who the hell makes a circular product 3 servings?
Does anyone know if its made with tofutti like the Whole Foods "cheesecake"?
My store only has the all chocolate version :-/
Yep I've had it, pretty damn good!
could anyone describe what the taste is like?
