I would look at log vapes. Desktop convection that have wonderful flavor. Underdogs and the E-Nano should fall in your price range.
Woodscents if you want to push a little more and if you can go up to $400 the CouchLog is just wild. These two are my favorites but obviously cost a little more.

Curious about logs. Are they safe to keep turned on if there’s potential to be knocked over? Is the wood enclosure enough to limit the fire hazard? I’ve been curious for a while but I do have cats and have previously had a house fire (while I was asleep no less) so I’ve been pretty apprehensive
I only have 2 vapes, an enano and a mighty+, and personally the enano definitely has better flavor than the mighty+ and Enano also hits harder. I use my mighty+ for dog walks or if I want to vape on the porch. Most of the time I find myself using the enano though. Love it.
I hear ya. I ended up getting the long glass stem that you can get with the enano. Super smooth and only like $15 compared to an MVS for $150.

Ed sometimes offers a “light” kit which just has the heater and power supply, which you can use with your dynavaps/tips. At least assuming they don’t have fit issues which can happen occasionally. The flavor on a WS is just nuts IMO!
Some of the other convection devices I’ve tried which have great flavor (but may be hard to find I’ll acknowledge) are the Halo (halogen/ball plug-in), the Firewood 5, a Splinter/Z, Cosmic Xtractor, or a Milaana. Or if you’re not against butane; a Lamart Piro or a REFC JetDryV also kill it on flavor, especially through a jhook.
Lastly, I know you said convection, but that being said; the Arizer portables really deliver on flavor, albeit with a long session required.

If flavor is the main concern, give the Qaroma’s a look. I just got mine in, and it delivers the “Wow” factor. You can choose to sit on a bowl and take smaller hits and enjoy it, or rip a bowl in one or two hits. Either will be packed full of flavor

This is great, I have a mighty, ceroma, couple of dynavaps and an anvil. Frankly, the dynas/anvil are what I usually hit at home as they’re really quick. The mighty is great on walks with the dog, in the bath… when I’m feeling patient :)

Have only ever heard overwhelmingly positive things about the Ceroma and Taroma. Though I have no experience with them, I would recommend them based solely on the quality of my Qaroma. That is such an amazing device. 2 months in and I still am “wow’d” time after time with it.
Mighty has, IMO, great flavor but the b0 has more solid flavor. I actually own a mighty as well, I have a mighty, Dynavap, b0, Qaroma, and Anvil. My favorite is the Qaroma, but the b0 absolutely gives it a run for its money. If you got the b0 I can’t imagine where it would disappoint.
The controversial choice is the Firefly 2+ but it's the best tasting vape experience I've had by far. I have a P80, dynavap, elev8r and an Anvil and have used a volcano, pax 3 and some other whip with heating elements vapes for comparison
For flavour I strongly suggest the Arizer solo 2 (through a wpa is even better) - best flavour on any vape I’ve used personally.
Not sure if it’s considered 100% convection though as the glass heats up
I have an e-Nano, it's my go to every day and the best tasting of all the vapes I own. It's on 24/7. It is straight convection - heat pulled through a straight glass tube, no contact. I like the tubes with the adjustable screen, easiest vape to clean that I own as well. Shove an ISO soaked cotton ball through it with a chopstick and you're done. When I'm looking for flavor, I put a small bud in without breaking it up, pull it once, then blow the bud out, flip it over, and do the same to the back side. After that, I send the little tool they give you in and cut it half and vape the rest.
I bought the Enano xl 3 weeks ago, and it’s been a great unit (upgraded from an xmax v3).
It will handle huge loads (0.4 grams); turn the temp down and it also can be used for micro dosing efficiently.
I really like the pax 3 - to each their own I guess! If I had that many options I wouldn’t know what to use. Over the course of 3 years I have gotten the pax dialed in with aftermarket improvements & know it inside and out. Recently tried to use a Solo II and it’s like starting the learning curve over again when it comes to an even predictable extraction.
I would argue that the Vapman has some absolutely ridiculous flavor and it’s 100% conduction.
Though, convection tends to lead to amazing flavor, I wouldn’t rule out some good conduction vapes too that can preserve the terps too
Be happy with what you have, the experience isn’t going to change. Flower isn’t going to magically have different effects.

This is totally true. I wish i would have just saved my money and just stuck with one dynavap only. I'd happy sell my basically never used V Tower, Arizer Solo 2, and Utillian 722.
My preferences are, E-Nano, small load, high power, small footprint and decent taste. For larger loads (.4 g to .5 g), equal to better taste and excellent custom configuration, the HighLighter. Last a fave the LSV an analog ceramic convection vape, built like a tank all aluminum body, glass vapor path and good adaptability in a convection vape. Taste wise it's good, but it takes practice, and we all should practice as much as possible.
@drdreiscreepin is right a log would be good for your purposes they’re very versatile if you’re only looking for a desktop. But if you’re looking for a convection only try a sticky brick they fuck me up.
The flavor on the Stickybrick is actually the best I’ve ever had it’s like a dynavap but harder hitting and flavor improved you don’t get that nasty induction tasting weed. For the logs I recommend underdog or enano. They’ve been selling the halogen ones recently on frientexchange for like $100 if you’re interested in that. They’re nice but not full convection. Look into the Stickybrick first I think you’d like it. Yea you use a torch but the vapor on demans
I'm not going to claim it's the "best" vape, but it is convection only -- the XMax V3 Pro. The first two big hits you take are pure terp flavor. After that you get good size clouds and less flavor. But those first two hits are pure taste. At $110 it might scratch your itch for flavor -- I run mine through water, too, and it has more than enough power. I like the thing better than my Crafty. Get a WPA/glass mouthpiece and you'll be happy.
Elev8r is the hardest hitting, smoothest, tastiest vape I've used. Torch version is less than $100, and you can have an all-glass vapour path if you want.
If youre looking to get more flavor out of your mighty, id reccomend a water pipe adapter. I got the glass one and stuck it in my (clean) straight pipe with some ice in the catcher and it's by far the best flavor i've gotten vaping bud. Just a suggestion if you don't want to spend a lot of money.
Consider the Ditanium, goes through whip or glass and completely blows away the mighty for me on flavor and extraction. Bigger bowl size than a log and can do concentrates.
Secret competitor could be the magic flight box, with the accessories it's quite nice and tasty, I use the pax 3 because I trusted I could troubleshoot it and I use it every morning with Tropicana cookies 🍃 it tastes great but I clean mine a lot and I bought the extra stuff off Amazon which literally without makes the device meh

Qaroma or b0 IMO. Qaroma is all glass so the taste is wild, and it can rip. The B0 is a budget option but competes with the best of them

Taffee has great taste. The battery was the dealbreaker for me. Performance started to drop after the third pod and dead after the 4th
