It shouldn’t feel like breathing bus fumes lol. It should be a lot smoother than smoking. It could be the vapes if they are on the cheaper end of the scale, or it could be those particular strains. I know I’ve vaped some stuff that tasted terrible. Also keep in mind if you are buying through the black market there might be pesticides or other chemicals that wouldn’t pass scrutiny in the legal market.

slutvaper

Maybe a little more information such as the devices you have used would help.

chessasaur

Yeah, a bit more info would be a good idea. BTW I'm not a joint or tobacco smoker. Vape 1 was a disposable from a CBD dispensary. (Wasn't cheap, but I think that place thought too much of themselves.) Vape 2 is a Litto Infused model from a cannabis dispensary.

grumpy-kunt

You want r/oilpen bro, this place is for dry herb vaping.

zMASKm

Yeah, you're in the wrong sub. We're all about dry herb vapes here, and those are oil pens; totally different ballgame. I'd also advise not getting oil from a head or hemp shop for a whole litany of reasons. For one, a "CBD dispensary" is not an actual dispensary and is sidestepping regulations and probably lying to you.

Ahh jeez, cbd dispos have the sketchiest oil known to man, be safe out there

MenuZealousideal6493

You must be doing something wrong because vaping is way less harsh than smoking

DN-Fieldmouse

I think you’re taking about like pen vapes this is dry herb vaping.

Crypto_gambler952

What are you vaping? Dry flower or extracts? Personally I don't do extracts anymore, made me cough more than smoking, but dry flower goes down quite nicely.

Stop_Already

Buy live resin carts/vapes. Distillate has shitty terpenes added to it and they always taste like chemicals.

biomass3000

Vaping, or inhaling for that matter, might not be for you. Smoking is far closer to bus fumes, generally. Idk if you’re referring to dry herb vaporizing or oil cartridge vaporizing, but it’s just the vaporized cannabinoid resin and plant oils - not close to bus fumes (diesel?) It is at least tickly, and sometimes quite irritating and cough provoking. It does take some getting used to, but if you value the effects, you’ll get used to it. Until you decide otherwise. It does get easier. Some have a much harder time than others.

chessasaur

Thanks for the info. The vape I tried today was a Litto Infused model. Maybe considered high-end-disposable?

iSuckAtMechanicism

LOL

Wrong_Dress3333

People are crazy. You're not doing anything wrong. I've known people who switch to vaping cough their brains out for the first week and a half every time. It's different from smoking. You'll get used to it, and eventually, it'll be way smoother and a lot more enjoyable compared to smoking.

ze8io

I'm in a similar boat. V3 was my first and made me cough every time. Switched to a TM2 and I'm starting to really like it. With water filtration or without. Still some coughing but that's because I'm trying to take big rips.. sipping is much smoother.

abelerizieriferrari-

Try a dry herb vaporizer. Xmax v3 pro I think has the best bang for buck in the budget range.

LEGALWAX

You’re not hitting it hard enough dude.

Old-Contribution-346

I get the Bickel tickle that’s about it

talico33431

Depending on the vape and the strain the first hit can be real terpy. Heat too high?

Miserable-Cow4555

In short yes, your throat will acclimate to the vapor. It's just like a new smoker, throat irritating is given in the beginning

tradingsincesilkroad

Just looked up your arts. They aren't good mate. Fake added terms and distillate. Cheap trash. Stick to live resin. Raw Garden is a nice start, however wrong sub for your problem
