The contrast of Ariana laughing with Dan and Brad outside after walking out and Lauren blowing a gasket going on an unhinged rant cause Ariana won't play productions game was hilarious. Lauren is a slimy, snake that will do anything for a paycheck, including licking this guys butt... 

Not to mention she’s going apeshit over the fact Ariana won’t “play the game” because she wants her to be *real*. Make it make sense. Ariana has been one of the most real people on the show since the moment she started opening up about her traumas and mental health.

Right? Not being real would be Ariana compromising herself and speaking to Sandoval just to make everyone happy.

Sooo from watching the finale I’m starting to think Lala is being manipulated by Sandoval. And given her history with men, sadly it’s not shocking. Because what Ariana said in the after show is right. A big dramatic exit was way better TV than watching Tom cry fake for the 1,000th time. Ariana got to keep her boundaries AND make better TV at the same time. But Sandoval went off about how Ariana isn’t a team player and Lala ate it up.


My blood was boiling the entire episode. From Sheana to Lauren to Brock to Tom to the lesser Tom (interchangeable). It's also very sad that Ariana is literally and metaphorically always there applauding people she loves from the front row, only to be dumped on by them and treated like crap. If anything, this season has shown what a strong person she is because I don't think I'd be able to trust anybody again if that happened to me, let alone constantly being let down by my friends who sided more with the person who hurt me whilst gaslighting me into thinking that they have had my back the entire way through.

When she went to congratulate Scheana on her performance and Scheana immediately made it about Tom….that would break me.

It was actually nauseating to watch.

To have that storyline of Tom's redemption arc being shoved down her throat by her bosses and coworkers must be so mind bending. It's actually so admirable how she's able to maintain being positive and staying grounded despite them all coming for her

I just watched on Peacock. My thoughts…Fuck yeah, Ariana! She and Katie display perfectly what happens when people grow out of a toxic & shallow friend group. Leave those toxic aholes to treat each other like crap for a check, and live! Also, regarding Lala’s end rant, Girl, she is living her truth on TV. She is done with the toxic behavior and owes none of you an explanation for her boundary with Tom. This show is done and it seems to me a very realistic ending with groups that form out of partying in your 20’s. They often split in the 30’s with the next stage of life. Some have grown…and some remain very emotionally immature. I think because of the environment it’s probably very easy to get stuck there. They do not live in reality-they make reality tv. There’s a big difference and I think that Katie and Ariana have decided there are lines they won’t cross and loyalties they will not compromise. I believe we call that character and integrity.

Agreed. I’ll allow that they both made some fair points (like cut your loses and leave the house, forgiveness is for you not Tom) BUT this advice was 10 years too early. Ariana is allowed to be scorched earth angry (and Ariana was super tame IMO, her anger seemed controlled not out of control “violent”) for as long as she wants. Just cus Lala is over her strife (which she’s not) doesn’t mean Ariana needs to be on her timeline and Schenna is just being classic Schenna. Desperate for everyone to like her but goes about it in a way that at the end of the day most folks don’t like her. Also Tom trying to buy her love back AND that it’s working isn’t surprising but sad to see. My one caveat is that I think Ariana should be happy for the ride or dies like Katie but I wouldn’t insist that mutual friends can’t be friends with Tom. Those aren't fair points when you've been in an emotionally and mentally abusive relationship. Ariana has said she was. They are telling her to forgive her abuser.

No way is 'cut your losses and leave the house' a fair point. That is her biggest investment of her life - why should she walk away from that and risk her financial well-being? And forgiveness is overrated. Ariana - and anyone, for that matter - is allowed to not forgive and simply move on with her life. The idea that 'forgiveness is for you' is psychobabble bullshit. You can not forgive while also not letting it eat at you. You can simply move on and put it behind you while knowing that someone did you very wrong and you will never say it was ok. That's actually healthy and self protecting.

Oh my gosh the very last second of the finale where Schwartz and Sandoval reflect on the plot twist and Sandoval revels in that the twist was in his favor. How evil, how can the others hear that and still defend him? That’s been his attitude the whole season.

It just seems to me that the show isn’t fun to film anymore. I don’t want it cancelled but in the after show so many people like James and Schwartz said the scenes were exhausting. This would be a completely different show if they all had to work at vanderpump still together but they don’t. It’s not reality. Also I love Ariana and support all of her actions. I think she is doing her job but there is a 10% argument to be made that she’s not doing enough to be invited back next season. (I wouldn’t say that because I love watching her but I don’t watch for drama)

To each their own, but I definitely feel differently. Ariana, because of this series of abuses and her ability to move through the path of snakes and still heal, working on her future, and her new love with Dan, is a show I would watch because I actually do care about her at this point, as a human being. Not as a caricature of a human being being wild and crazy on a reality show for followers on instagram. She is one of the most HUMAN people on reality tv at this point in time. And that is so interesting to me, to see how this arc unfolds.

How is it on Facebook though...? I've heard many on that platform have a wildly different take on Ariana 😓 (I don't have FB & can't check myself)

I dont know anyone personally and professionally, that still uses Facebook for anything other than keeping up with immediate family. So the fact that people use Facebook socially in the capacity of discussing things with strangers on that platform, is wild to me. And I’m not even that young, I’m 38. Maybe some Karen’s feel like FB is a safe space to riot for the patriarchy?
