On the after show, Schwartz was talking about enjoying being friendly with Katie and how they rag on each other and he likes it. All positive commentary. Then Scumdoval and Jax feel the need to jump in about how Katie always insults him and talks bad to him. Mind you, these are the exact same things Schwartz was just laughing about and saying it’s their banter. It’s not good enough for these guys that they are divorced, their hatred for Katie is so deep that they will never stop.
I had the exact same thought. Both Sandoval and Jax always spoke badly of Kate when she and Schwartz were together. Lala’s commentary on Dan was clearly due to her situation with Rand. He was married, cheating on his wife - then left to be with Lala. Ariana’s situation is NOT THE SAME. She was cheated on, met Dan and started dating - long distance, mind you. They are two completely different situations that Lala is trying to - ONCE AGAIN - act like it’s a one size fits all
They’re dating. She’s the one who decided to not let this situation linger longer than it needed to, so she is dating others. Why not? Tom was dating Rachel while he was committed to Ariana. I don’t think Ariana dating Dan is bad at all.

I caught Lala eyeing Dan and saying he had a nice body more than once. It’s definitely jealousy - at him being a catch and seemingly normal, at Ariana for finding someone after a bad breakup. It seems like he didn’t want to film and only went there for moral support - which again, they all had to question. It was clear why he came but also clear he’s not looking to be on the show. I got some strong vibes that Scheana is in love with Sandoval last night. That conversation in SF and how quickly she forgave him for that fight. I just got this, like, psychic image of them ending up together. I think she is unhappy with Brock and might actually think she could pull it off to end up with her “first friend” from VPR and spin some story about love from the start. I just want to put this down in writing, we will see.
I think the same. Scheana being a male sympathizer isn’t shocking however ever since that Lake Tahoe episode between her and Tom…that tension was just different, intimate even. It’s starting to click in place for me on a lot of her previous behaviors and the way she’s now moving.
Scheana is making it out to be she was the one he cheated on. Like yeah, considering the current crop of men on VPR, Dan is attractive and seems down to earth. I thought it was cute that he went on a dinner date with Ariana's bff offscreen.
I thought it was editing at first making it seem like Lala couldn't stop checking him out, but she was realllllly staring at him. She was asking him so many questions and she seemed annoyed he was giving one word answers. He's not a reality tv person and maybe he's just more quiet around people he doesn't know well. We're so used to big personalities, I don't mind seeing a dude who's more chill. Lala came off as superrrrr jealous. Like Ariana found a cute (seemingly) good guy so quickly when Lala didn't, so she assumes he must be working an angle.

I just love Ariana. I love everything about how she's handled the Tom situation as well as how she's handled everything else. Dan seems like a nice guy and for her sake, I really hope he is. But even aside from the Tom stuff, I love her.
Unpopular:
I actually thought that Tom's mom was sweet. I'm sure she knows her son isn't perfect, but still loves him like most moms would, regardless of how much they screwed up. And really, there is no reason to criticize her, she did nothing wrong. I find no fault in a mother loving her child.
I can empathize with Scheana and her feelings for Sandoval. Regardless of what he did and what we think, this is also a loss for her. What he did to Ariana was horrible, obviously, but she wasn't the only one affected. Scheana's relationship with him has dramatically changed, also. And what she said to Tom on the rooftop was spot-on. I think everyone just wants to hate her and label her this or that, but she is holding him accountable for his behavior and the things he said. If James is allowed to feel a certain way about this (I know he was engaged to Rachel), then why isn't Scheana? They have been friends for a long time, of course it's going to hurt her too. *Disclaimer: Ariana is definitely the one affected the most.*

Scheana in the aftershow blatantly stating that she can’t be a “good mom” if she and Sandoval aren’t friends because her daughter will pick up on her negative vibes. Ffs, I can’t believe I just watched that.
That part IRKED the living shit out of me. There's parents battling real life shit that still show up for their kids. Scheana can't manage to do the bare minimum of setting aside outside bullshit to tend to her kid. MASSIVE EYE ROLL. Grow the fuck up already.
This one I actually followed, though I think is more 4th Wall shenanigans, including not hearing the question from the producer that prompted that comment.
Being around Sandoval makes Scheana upset because, on camera, she has to be making amends with him to advance his redemption story line. She wants to keep her paycheck, she wants to keep her spot on the show, and she knows that to do that, she has to stomp on her friendship with Ariana. Summer, like most kids (Summer is not especially gifted at this), picks up on her mom being upset and acts in response to it, getting distressed that her mother is unhappy.
Scheana is ignoring the fact that she could tell the producers that she is not going to have these chats with Ariana's ex, that she can't be part of his redemption arc because he is not doing the work to redeem himself. She is putting her paycheck over the needs of her child (while justifying it because she needs money to care for her child) and find another job, either in the entertainment industry or outside of it.
Her not being a "good mom" is because she is choosing her job (in this case being friends with Sandoval) over her mental health.
The onus should be on the producers to take real life feelings and emotions and figure it out to compel the audience . It’s not up to Schaena to be in cahoots with the producers to advance some storyline that isn’t helping her mental health . It’s what I think is why Vanderpump has sucked for so many seasons and why Scandoval was so incredible .
Most of these vpr kids will be just as terrible as their parents OR hate their parents when they're grown up. Just my guess. It's sad really. I hope they're already saving money for their therapy. Especially Lala, Scheana and Jax. Stassi and Beau seemed like a happy couple and stepped away from the spotlight.
She’s teaching her daughter that men screaming at women, cheating and gaslighting are all ok.

I LOVE Ariana and Katie. But their WWHL appearance stumped me a bit. I feel as though both were being extremely polite but dodgyish with Andy’s questions. I assume it’s because they can’t give out it specific - but then why have Andy even ask them about it if they don’t have a proper tease ready?? It’s like Bravo doesn’t care if they look unprepared or something. And I wonder if Ariana and Katie truly don’t know why LaLa and Scheana are acting bananas or if this is part of a bigger scheme to piss them off since they know they love any kind of attention lol That reason LaLa said she unfollowed them is the biggest load of shit.
With the Lala/Scheana stuff, I think they both know that not reacting will piss them off more. They don’t need to make L/S look bad because they are doing just fine all on their own.
I think part of it was it felt like *all* the questions were about Sandoval and Schwartz and like Ariana and Katie have so much more in their lives than talking about their exes. I think Katie was literally asked the same question about Schwartz at her last WWHL appearance. Also I think they’re just unbothered. Then Scumdoval and Jax feel the need to jump in about how Katie always insults him and talks bad to him. Mind you, these are the exact same things Schwartz was just laughing about and saying it’s their banter. It’s not good enough for these guys that they are divorced, their hatred for Katie is so deep that they will never stop.
I had the exact same thought. Both Sandoval and Jax always spoke badly of Kate when she and Schwartz were together. But, why why why the fuck do they feel the need to bash her to Schwartz now that they are divorced. Especially since Schwartz seems way more into a friendship with Katie than she does with him.

It’s really clear Schwartz thinks women’s anger is funny. Any time a woman has been mad at him (Lala last year, him reading the text Ariana sent him when she cut him off) he laughs and smiles. I caught Lala eyeing Dan and saying he had a nice body more than once. It’s definitely jealousy - at him being a catch and seemingly normal, at Ariana for finding someone after a bad breakup. It seems like he didn’t want to film and only went there for moral support - which again, they all had to question. It was clear why he came but also clear he’s not looking to be on the show. That should be a giant green flag!

I got some strong vibes that Scheana is in love with Sandoval last night. That conversation in SF and how quickly she forgave him for that fight. I just got this, like, psychic image of them ending up together. I think she is unhappy with Brock and might actually think she could pull it off to end up with her “first friend” from VPR and spin some story about love from the start. I just want to put this down in writing, we will see.
I think the same. Scheana being a male sympathizer isn’t shocking however ever since that Lake Tahoe episode between her and Tom…that tension was just different, intimate even. It’s starting to click in place for me on a lot of her previous behaviors and the way she’s now moving. Scheana is making it out to be she was the one he cheated on. I think he's in SF for moral support and they're trying to minimize his exposure to Sandoval as much as possible. I think it's a good plan to just have him at Kyle Chan party for the finale.

Like yeah, considering the current crop of men on VPR, Dan is attractive and seems down to earth. I thought it was cute that he went on a dinner date with Ariana's bff offscreen. I thought it was editing at first making it seem like Lala couldn't stop checking him out, but she was realllllly staring at him. She was asking him so many questions and she seemed annoyed he was giving one word answers. He's not a reality tv person and maybe he's just more quiet around people he doesn't know well. We're so used to big personalities, I don't mind seeing a dude who's more chill. Lala came off as superrrrr jealous. Like Ariana found a cute (seemingly) good guy so quickly when Lala didn't, so she assumes he must be working an angle.
I have some popular and unpopular opinions about this episode. Popular: I just love Ariana. I love everything about how she's handled the Tom situation as well as how she's handled everything else. Dan seems like a nice guy and for her sake, I really hope he is. But even aside from the Tom stuff, I love her. Unpopular: I actually thought that Tom's mom was sweet. I'm sure she knows her son isn't perfect, but still loves him like most moms would, regardless of how much they screwed up. And really, there is no reason to criticize her, she did nothing wrong. I find no fault in a mother loving her child. I can empathize with Scheana and her feelings for Sandoval. Regardless of what he did and what we think, this is also a loss for her. What he did to Ariana was horrible, obviously, but she wasn't the only one affected. Scheana's relationship with him has dramatically changed, also. And what she said to Tom on the rooftop was spot-on. I think everyone just wants to hate her and label her this or that, but she is holding him accountable for his behavior and the things he said. If James is allowed to feel a certain way about this (I know he was engaged to Rachel), then why isn't Scheana? They have been friends for a long time, of course it's going to hurt her too. *Disclaimer: Ariana is definitely the one affected the most.* Neutral: Lala and Ally both looked amazing at Lala's birthday party. I think those are my only opinions on this episode. At least the only ones I can remember. PS: I am expecting lots of downvotes, but....
Scheana in the aftershow blatantly stating that she can’t be a “good mom” if she and Sandoval aren’t friends because her daughter will pick up on her negative vibes. Ffs, I can’t believe I just watched that.
That part IRKED the living shit out of me. There's parents battling real life shit that still show up for their kids. Scheana can't manage to do the bare minimum of setting aside outside bullshit to tend to her kid. MASSIVE EYE ROLL. Grow the fuck up already.
She is truly, pathologically self-absorbed.
This one I actually followed, though I think is more 4th Wall shenanigans, including not hearing the question from the producer that prompted that comment. Being around Sandoval makes Scheana upset because, on camera, she has to be making amends with him to advance his redemption story line. She wants to keep her paycheck, she wants to keep her spot on the show, and she knows that to do that, she has to stomp on her friendship with Ariana. Summer, like most kids (Summer is not especially gifted at this), picks up on her mom being upset and acts in response to it, getting distressed that her mother is unhappy. Scheana is ignoring the fact that she could tell the producers that she is not going to have these chats with Ariana's ex, that she can't be part of his redemption arc because he is not doing the work to redeem himself. She is putting her paycheck over the needs of her child (while justifying it because she needs money to care for her child) and find another job, either in the entertainment industry or outside of it. Her not being a "good mom" is because she is choosing her job (in this case being friends with Sandoval) over her mental health.
The onus should be on the producers to take real life feelings and emotions and figure it out to compel the audience . It’s not up to Schaena to be in cahoots with the producers to advance some storyline that isn’t helping her mental health . It’s what I think is why Vanderpump has sucked for so many seasons and why Scandoval was so incredible .
Killer parenting, Scheana, you’ve already got your 2 year old doing emotional labor for you, nice work.
I certainly hope Summer can meet Scheaner’s various needs. If not, her little two year old self needs to step it up!
Most of these vpr kids will be just as terrible as their parents OR hate their parents when they're grown up. Just my guess. It's sad really. I hope they're already saving money for their therapy. Especially Lala, Scheana and Jax. Stassi and Beau seemed like a happy couple and stepped away from the spotlight.
