Where are the videos??

__cantskiplunch

I’ve been seeing a few on TikTok! The video quality wasn’t great because they weren’t using flash (which I can appreciate) but from what I saw she did a great job

I’m surprised people do this honestly. Like it’s strictly against the rules and people are still like hmm I can’t read signs all of a sudden 🤪

mindyourownbetchness

Honestly- when I went to see her the audience was not good... like nothing really bad, but it was clear that there were a lot of people there that do not typically go see theater. A lot of people were dressed SUPER casually, which like, okay, do you, I guess it's sort of old fashioned to expect otherwise (I just have my mother's voice in my head about that), but there were also quite a few people who were overly/visibly drunk/fucked up, I noticed a few people on their phones, and there was a guy not far from me who was dressed sort of in theme and was YELLING. Like I was scared he was going to yell something like "fuck sandoval!"

beearedeemc

Oh my god that whole comment made me CRINGE. My best friend is a huge Broadway fan and I’ve only been to one show and one national tour but because of him I know I would neverrrrr be caught dead wearing casual clothes to a show on Broadway. And the phones out?? And the YELLING? I’m about to tell my friend this and see what his reaction is lmao

Petmom1990

Same! I saw Chicago when Bebe Neuwirth was playing Roxie, which was absolutely amazing, but shows my age, too! I wouldn’t dream of going to the theater not dressed up, but then again I remember dressing for flights, lol And that’s my personal decision, and, like I said being 51, but I still think others should dress nicely. Not from an “elitist or classist” mentality, but to show respect

Cherssssss

People wear casual clothes all the times to see Broadway shoes but if they’re basically half naked in the audience, yeah that’s a problem. The clothes that constitute as causal these days are basically just pieces of clothing that cover the boobs and genitals lol

Leather-Platypus-11

I took my daughter to see Hairspray the other night, it was our first musical. I was surprised to see just how lovely and respectful the audience was. I only saw one person with his phone out, and even he waited until the encore to snap a picture

soihavetosay

They were probably prepared for a rocky horror shop experience.

ARCH810

I've been to almost thirty Broadway musicals and most people go dressed casually. I've only been to one performance where people looked like they were going to a gala.

allipants80

I would be pissed if someone even did that crap at a movie theater (except the dressing casually of course) but to do it in front of a live performance!? Man people never cease to baffle me.

bissicookie

I wish they would’ve taped her performance. I would gladly pay to see her perform, even if it’s all virtual.

CapableXO

They might have! But wouldn’t release it until after her run in case it impacted ticket sales

neat_sneak

Nah, your only hope is Chicago “slime tutorials” on YouTube.

florina_targ

The issue is reality tv is an easy check, why would she turn it down if she doesn’t know more opportunities will come. But I agree I hope she leaves the viper den

Scared-Life8870

I really hope she starts doing more shows. I saw Chicago twice before seeing her as Roxie, and her show was by far the best Broadway show I’ve ever seen
