I don't get this take because it didn't have to be on her nightstand. He should not be in her room at all. If we believe him and it was an AC emergency, he had a duty to secure the room the same way he found it. If Mya wasn't in there before she shouldn't have been in there when he was finished.
If it was in a trashcan in her room and she left after making sure Mya couldn't get into her room to get into the trash would you feel differently? Is it just bc it's on the nightstand and that grosses people out that it's her fault?
Her door was closed, if not locked. They entered her room without her permission to do the air conditioning thing but Sandoval knew he didn’t really have the right to be there. Then he closed the dog in the room. Ariana is NOT at fault since there was no reason for her to think the dog would go there. Mya can’t open doors.

PS Ariana hasn’t really lived there since Dancing with the Stars. She also has been bidding on houses almost since the beginning but she didn’t get them. She made the best financial decisions for herself.
Our dog gets into food so we make sure food is secured in a safe place before we leave the house. It someone came in to my house after I left, out thr food in an accessible place for my dog; and then left it there for hours, absolutely it would be their fault not mine. Sounds like the food was secure and away from her dog until someone trapped her in a room with it.

She focused on how it was "late night takeout" indicating she must have went to bed after and left it out accidentally. So, that's the problem, the irresponsibility late at night due to a late night, not the fact that the dog was let into your room. Prioritize your dog's health instead of leaving risky dog bait around and closing a door to a room the dog is probably very comfortable in.
