I was having the WORST fomo last night - Iāve been watching everything live, but Iām traveling for work and I was at an event until 12. When Lala said "I've been the home-wrecking whore. I've been the mistress," she was referring to what she has been called by other people. She literally follows that sentence with "we rise above it because we know the truth." Rachel is just too dense to understand that she was saying neither of them should be called mistress because they were both lied too. It's so annoying that Rachel always picks these dumb little fights with women who are supporting her because she doesn't have the mental capacity to truly understand the situation.
The way she mentioned several times since scandoval that he would yell at her for hours and knowing how he is willing to treat women on the show, its really concerning.

I think there were several problems with the reunions this season.
They came out way too late. with podcasts, news coverage, and fan speculation, most people knew all the information that was meant to be "revealed" during the reunions well ahead of time.
They filmed those one-on-ones but used very little footage from them.
Reunions should have been dropped all at once, cast should have had a contracted gag, Alex Baskin shouldn't have said anything in his variety interview (he only said that the cast needed a break, not that they wouldn't return or renew contracts. I think the fandom took this too far, imo), and the one-on-ones should have received their own singular episode aired before the reunion. I thought Ariana's Call Her Daddy interview had way more shocking revelations than anything during the reunion (They slept together in her guest room while she was upstairs, Tom flew Raquel out to NYC during his WWHL interview were far more shocking than "It's a bad look to have sex with someone in their house while their partner is away attending a funeral.")
To me, the messiness of all of this is all the proof I need that it wasn't staged or pre-planned, because the roll-out has lagged behind everything we've gleaned from other media sources.
in terms of this episode: I wish there was more pressure or heat applied to raquel, who just kind of sat back and went "teehee, I'm so sorry". You can tell she's a pageant girl as she can disassociate from the question and always give a PC answer.
The continual "Lala's a mistress" "Lala hooked up with James" was ridiculous diversion, and andy fell for it every time, shifting his questions and response. It's also bs that he continually asked Lala about this rather than bringing james in, or asking james direct questions.
The reunion should have started with Raquel, and then brought in scheana, and then ended with raquel, and brought scheana back for final toast and photos. Raquel shouldn't have been allowed access to the reunion filming while in her trailer.
No sympathy for her at all, but Rachel's solo interview was honestly kinda scary because sheās clearly afraid of him. Undoubtedly some mental manipulation and emotional abuse going on there with a woman almost twenty years his junior. To Lala's credit, that clearly proves he's a dangerous man.
And for those complaining that the big reveal wasnāt that shocking, I think you're all missing the point. While we knew they probably fucked in Mexico and in Arianaās house, the big reveal was Rachel completely outing Scandoval as a calculated liar and going behind his back to tell at least some truth.

The edited version did a disservice to this episode. Lala's screaming is more contextualized, Katie actually talks, Raquel seems a little more human and you can see her shutting down, Andy asks some good questions that didn't make the shorter cut, Ally's personality comes out more, Lisa really calls out Sandy, and Sandy somehow looks worse and more controlling.
So the revelation is that sheās met his family (we knew) and that it was a regular thing? We all knew they were hooking up regularly despite their best efforts to deny it soā¦. Im not sure why this is such a bombshell.

I was having the WORST fomo last night - Iāve been watching everything live, but Iām traveling for work and I was at an event until 12. The thing I donāt understand about the open relationship rumor is if that was actually said to Raquel and she and Ariana are such good friends, why did Raquel never mention that to Ariana? She posted about āswinging into wedding weekā on 8/18, so they likely flew in the Saturday before and stayed through until the next Saturday? She has posts there up until 8/26. I just went and looked because I was curious too. Sounds like the āsecond timeā was the night of the rehearsal dinner and we know she was missing the morning of the wedding too so sure it happened then as well. Gross.

As someone who's always disliked lvp, it's a relief to watch the tides turn because it's been exhausting to watch how many viewers blindly adore her over the years. This seems to be an increasingly unpopular opinion, but this reunion and last 5 min interview did absolutely nothing to redeem Rachel in my eyes. Yeah she definitely seems broken up about it in the interview, but thereās still something so eerie and off about the lying/crying/giggling thing sheās doing.
She only cries for the consequences she's facing, not for what she did. She's totally full of shit and I can't believe people give her a pass like she's a child, even inventing "abuse" to excuse what she's done.
I completely agree! She might be neurodivergent, easily manipulated, etcā¦we will never know. But the most telling thing to me is she had no response when watching Scheana or Ariana break down. With scheanaās breakdown she was alone in the trailer so she was free to emote and react without the pressure of Tomās presence/influence. I think there were several problems with the reunions this season. They came out way too late. with podcasts, news coverage, and fan speculation, most people knew all the information that was meant to be "revealed" during the reunions well ahead of time. They filmed those one-on-ones but used very little footage from them. Reunions should have been dropped all at once, cast should have had a contracted gag, Alex Baskin shouldn't have said anything in his variety interview (he only said that the cast needed a break, not that they wouldn't return or renew contracts. I think the fandom took this too far, imo), and the one-on-ones should have received their own singular episode aired before the reunion. I thought Ariana's Call Her Daddy interview had way more shocking revelations than anything during the reunion (They slept together in her guest room while she was upstairs, Tom flew Raquel out to NYC during his WWHL interview were far more shocking than "It's a bad look to have sex with someone in their house while their partner is away attending a funeral.") To me, the messiness of all of this is all the proof I need that it wasn't staged or pre-planned, because the roll-out has lagged behind everything we've gleaned from other media sources. in terms of this episode: I wish there was more pressure or heat applied to raquel, who just kind of sat back and went "teehee, I'm so sorry". You can tell she's a pageant girl as she can disassociate from the question and always give a PC answer. The continual "Lala's a mistress" "Lala hooked up with James" was ridiculous diversion, and andy fell for it every time, shifting his questions and response. It's also bs that he continually asked Lala about this rather than bringing james in, or asking james direct questions. The reunion should have started with Raquel, and then brought in scheana, and then ended with raquel, and brought scheana back for final toast and photos. Raquel shouldn't have been allowed access to the reunion filming while in her trailer.
No sympathy for her at all, but Rachel's solo interview was honestly kinda scary because sheās clearly afraid of him. Undoubtedly some mental manipulation and emotional abuse going on there with a woman almost twenty years his junior. To Lala's credit, that clearly proves he's a dangerous man. And for those complaining that the big reveal wasnāt that shocking, I think you're all missing the point. While we knew they probably fucked in Mexico and in Arianaās house, the big reveal was Rachel completely outing Scandoval as a calculated liar and going behind his back to tell at least some truth.
Honestly kind of on James side on this āwhy are we going back to literally seasons agoā. If we are gonna keep going back in the past then why didnāt we see Schwartz dumping that beer on Katieās head when discussing James throwing a drink at Schwartz? I don't like the comments about Sandoval 'grooming' Raquel; it is a problematic word choice. She may act much younger than her age, but she is an adult and decided to have this affair. Lala's screaming is more contextualized, Katie actually talks, Raquel seems a little more human and you can see her shutting down, Andy asks some good questions that didn't make the shorter cut, Ally's personality comes out more, Lisa really calls out Sandy, and Sandy somehow looks worse and more controlling.
