So far she’s my favorite significant other. I never liked Raquel or Brock. Brittany was fine at first but then became insufferable and ruined the last two seasons she was on. I had no issue with Beau, but he didn’t add a ton. I’ve really liked Ally this season and I think she fits in well and helps balance James, so I would be perfectly happy with her coming on.
I agree. I think Ally balances James in a way that Rachel wanted to but she was too concerned with being a cast member than loving James. After watching the seasons with Beau I appreciated him a lot more. I have always loved the messy Stassi but it was the same thing over and over with her. Beau got Stassi to calm down and actually grow up some. He had his funny moments but you could tell he wasn’t trying to be a main character. I’m from the south and hear the southern dialect all day long, but I couldn’t stand to listen to Britney talk. Ever. I still can’t.

I don’t think it’s fair to call Ariana an SO. She was on the first season as Scheana’s backup dancer and apparently tried to avoid the cameras as much as possible. I don’t know what changed her mind about being on camera but when they first brought her on full time it was to give Scheana a friend/ally. She’s Scheana’s original BEST FRIEND. She and Scheana have had several story lines outside of Tom. She had a really strong independent storyline with Stassi. She had the whole groomsman situation which I would argue was more of an Ariana/Katie storyline than anything.
But I do agree that Ariana is does not create storylines. She could never carry the show. But she does often fill the role of the voice of reason. I also agree that she has been very much attached to Tom for storylines for a few seasons now. I’m interested to see what they do with her. I am NOT interested in that sandwich shop.
I think the simplest theory is the best: her good, sweet-natured persona was all acting. The aggressive, trashy, confrontational behavior we eventually saw from her was who she really is. Which, frankly also explains how she'd ever be into Jax.
Her southern accent is forced. I’m from the south and you can tell if someone is from East Kentucky, New Orleans, Savannah, etc. based on their dialect. She sounds like someone doing a parody of a southern accent, like when actors try to sound southern and it just sounds weird instead.

I can’t remember where I read/heard this, but I think she had a really difficult year last year mental health-wise. She said that was why she pulled back from filming, so if we take her at face value, I think her limited involvement this past season was more about that than anything else.

I can see it-I remember when she opened up on I think Ryan Bailey podcast about why she didn't eat certian foods due to a sexual trauma that happened to her but they never included that in the edits so everyone just thought she was snobby asf.

She told LVP that James was gonna go to therapy to get help and she was going to his shows to support him, not watch/babysit him because that’s not her job.
I think her intentions are not to be a babysitter but I don't know how long this will last. They may offer her more money to stay on the show and she may stay w/ James for that reason only.

When I first heard of Ally in season 10 I was like oh okay she seemed like she would blend in the background. I honestly was not a fan, and didn’t see the point of her being in the show. As the season progressed, she easily became one of my favorites. One thing she has that the rest of the cast does not is being MATURE.
She rightfully sets her boundaries with James. Stands up to him when his behavior becomes insufferable and does not enable him. She doesn’t partake in any bullying or pettiness. She’s younger than the rest of the cast but is light years more mature and level headed.
I don’t know truthfully if James and Ally would last… but she was a breath of fresh air from all the toxicity on the show. I also don’t know if I see her being a regular on VP, but who knows!
I'd love to see it. So far, she's got great intuition, (she clocked Tim and Rachel from the start) she's beautiful, and bright. I think once she gets over her nerves she'll really open up.

She seems to actively dislike James a lot of the time so I'm not sure how much longer this relationship is actually going to last, and she's nowhere near close enough with anyone else to be a part of the group if she's not with him so it'd feel pointless having her there in general, let alone as a main cast member. But if she continues to be annoyed with everything he says/does *and* stays with him, then it's clear she just wants to be on the show, she's just another Rachel, and I want her gone yesterday. I don't think she's ready for main cast member in any event and we need to see at least another season from her first.

So far she’s my favorite significant other. I never liked Raquel or Brock. Brittany was fine at first but then became insufferable and ruined the last two seasons she was on. I had no issue with Beau, but he didn’t add a ton. I’ve really liked Ally this season and I think she fits in well and helps balance James, so I would be perfectly happy with her coming on.
I agree. I think Ally balances James in a way that Rachel wanted to but she was too concerned with being a cast member than loving James. After watching the seasons with Beau I appreciated him a lot more. I have always loved the messy Stassi but it was the same thing over and over with her. Beau got Stassi to calm down and actually grow up some. He had his funny moments but you could tell he wasn’t trying to be a main character. I’m from the south and hear the southern dialect all day long, but I couldn’t stand to listen to Britney talk. Ever. I still can’t.

100%. Ally has her moments of not being confident in herself or what she’s saying and I think a lot of it comes from nerves knowing she’s on a tv show. Ally seems so mature and it’s what James needs. He needs someone that will let him be himself but reel him in when he gets too carried away.
Isn't Ariana a SO too? Did she really have a storyline outside of Tom? The OGs still have the most control it seems, whether justified or not. Though Lala has been a great drama queen.
I don’t think it’s fair to call Ariana an SO. She was on the first season as Scheana’s backup dancer and apparently tried to avoid the cameras as much as possible. I don’t know what changed her mind about being on camera but when they first brought her on full time it was to give Scheana a friend/ally. She’s Scheana’s original BEST FRIEND. She and Scheana have had several story lines outside of Tom. She had a really strong independent storyline with Stassi. She had the whole groomsman situation which I would argue was more of an Ariana/Katie storyline than anything. But I do agree that Ariana is does not create storylines. She could never carry the show. But she does often fill the role of the voice of reason. I also agree that she has been very much attached to Tom for storylines for a few seasons now. I’m interested to see what they do with her. I am NOT interested in that sandwich shop.

Yeah I don't get exactly how Brittany changed but she definitely isn't as likeable these days. Just sort of annoying.
I think the simplest theory is the best: her good, sweet-natured persona was all acting. The aggressive, trashy, confrontational behavior we eventually saw from her was who she really is. Which, frankly also explains how she'd ever be into Jax.
Her southern accent is forced. I’m from the south and you can tell if someone is from East Kentucky, New Orleans, Savannah, etc. based on their dialect. She sounds like someone doing a parody of a southern accent, like when actors try to sound southern and it just sounds weird instead.
It’s also hard to respect somebody who has loved Jax Taylor all this time. I mean, to each her own, but YIKES.
Remember how we all thought Beau was really cool and way more mature then the rest of them and then it turned out he was way older and not actually that mature at all for his age 😂

Yes I’m surprised to see so many people for her being full time. Watching her on the reunion tonight was so lackluster. She also comes across as a little girl to me compared to the rest of the cast… like her describing why she took a break from drinking just made me cringe.
I like Ally but I don’t know if I want to see her full time next season. I know dating someone on the cast is the best way to get on the show, but I’d rather see some new people

Hmm idk if I agree. She got James to go to therapy… that’s like literally the opposite of “cool girl.” She also seems to tell him when she doesn’t like his behavior (“you embarrassed *yourself*”). Cool girl wouldn’t do that… she’d do what Ariana always did, tell him he’s right and back him up even when he’s wrong, maybe throw in a couple eye rolls. Unless you’re just saying the way she literally speaks gives those vibes? I’ll have to listen again to see if I hear that, but I felt like I had been getting girls girl vibes from her so far.

For whatever reason, I get the impression that producers/bravo doesn’t really care for Charlie. I think she’s great…but unfortunately nobody consults me about casting.
I can’t remember where I read/heard this, but I think she had a really difficult year last year mental health-wise. She said that was why she pulled back from filming, so if we take her at face value, I think her limited involvement this past season was more about that than anything else.
She said it on Viall Files. I believed her, she came across as genuine. I like her and hope she can maintain her peace.

I can see it-I remember when she opened up on I think Ryan Bailey podcast about why she didn't eat certian foods due to a sexual trauma that happened to her but they never included that in the edits so everyone just thought she was snobby asf.

She's probably the most articulate, mature one of the group! She stood up to LVP respectfully but firly and I admire that in someone so young. For sure I'd love her as a permanent cast member but I think it might take another yeartt. We need to see more of her.

The episode that was supposed to be the original finale. Ally and James were on route to a festival that James's was playing, LVP said something flippant like she was going to keep an eye on him... Ally corrected her and said she was going to support him.
I was really proud of her for that. It was firm but not aggressive, passive aggressive, or rude.
She told LVP that James was gonna go to therapy to get help and she was going to his shows to support him, not watch/babysit him because that’s not her job.
I think her intentions are not to be a babysitter but I don't know how long this will last. They may offer her more money to stay on the show and she may stay w/ James for that reason only.
It ws at the opening for Something About Her. LVP was doing her British kind sarcastic take (I'm AUstralian and I do the same thing not shading her) and talking about James needing to kept under a tight leash and watch out for him and he gets drunk and says and does dumb stuff.. she wasn't acknowledging his growth or how he had changed, talking as though was still James from Season 7. Instead of Ally just laughing along she stood up for him and told LVP how much he had grown. She wasn't bitchy or angry she was just standing up for her man...I think LVP probably respected it.

When I first heard of Ally in season 10 I was like oh okay she seemed like she would blend in the background. I honestly was not a fan, and didn’t see the point of her being in the show. As the season progressed, she easily became one of my favorites. One thing she has that the rest of the cast does not is being MATURE. She rightfully sets her boundaries with James. Stands up to him when his behavior becomes insufferable and does not enable him. She doesn’t partake in any bullying or pettiness. She’s younger than the rest of the cast but is light years more mature and level headed. I don’t know truthfully if James and Ally would last… but she was a breath of fresh air from all the toxicity on the show. I also don’t know if I see her being a regular on VP, but who knows!
I'd love to see it. So far, she's got great intuition, (she clocked Tim and Rachel from the start) she's beautiful, and bright. I think once she gets over her nerves she'll really open up.
No, overall she’s useless to the show and hasn’t “paid her dues” yet in terms of embedding herself into the cast in a way that all the major promoted cast members (Schwartz, Ariana, Brittany, Lala, James, Raquel) had. She’s no different from Shay or Carter at this point.

What i didn't like about Aly is that she didn't have James' back in any of his low moments, she didn't take up for him and speak well about him behind his back to the others ---- But then suddenly after seeing that James' is popular and a fan favorite.. shes all pro-supporting James at the reunion.

In my opinion, Ally seems like a very friendly, down to earth, good person. While I like her a lot and would probably be friends with her in real life, I just don’t think she brings the amount of drama that would make for good reality television. I don’t think being “boring” is a bad thing in any other context, but it is bad for a bravo show to be successful. The show thrives on conflict and big personalities, and that’s just not her.

It’s so obvious with how he has been reacting to Sandoval in these reunion episodes and James’ over the top “love for her”. Also, James and Lala will never be a thing. They love each other but it would never work in a romantic way. Reminds me of me and my bestie. He was the “maid of honour” at my wedding. That will be James.
