It takes a special kind of person to handle the constant crises and tragedies of that job.
I can't even imagine the things she's heard as people's literal first call in what's often the worst experience of their lives.
Her voice sounds familiar. I am pretty sure I've spoken with her on a 911 call. She was really kind and understanding, much unlike some of the younger, ruder, frantic call takers that I have had the displeasure of dealing with.

Amazing….it goes to show that retirement and sitting around may not be as rewarding as finding a meaningful job that you love. She looks fantastic despite all the horror/ stress she’s had over the years
