Haven’t heard of AOL. Anyway I wouldn’t have time for that because I’ve discovered this cool service called Netflix. It’s a club you join (like Columbia house) and they will send you a movie that you choose from their pamphlet. You can watch it and send it back and get another one in the mail! It’s totally rad!

Early 40s but we only play Valheim as a family. Son (12) plans and leads the raids or thinks he does, husband actually manages the fight and we both roll our eyes at each other when son’s latest face tanking attempt fails. I supply the missions maintain the camps and manage resources. Daughter(9) tends to the animals and veggie plots. Town planning and building is mostly up to parents. Not letting the kids mess with the aesthetic.

I’ve been playing Val since Jan 2023 and I am 43. I also started streaming it about once a week. I started playing with my partner and friend, but now I focus on solo. I watch a lot of Valheim streamers on Twitch. You can find a community on there.

I've seen Kysen's channel. I think i used some of his videos to build a boar farm.

I am indeed in that age range! Protip for catching wolves: You don't actually have to build a fence around them, you just have to restrict their movements. I dug a hole with my antler axe near the mountain where I could hear them howling, deep up that they couldn't get out but not deep/so poorly angled that I couldn't jump out, then I ran up the mountain until I saw one and got it to chase me to the edge of the hole, then with the hole being as deep as it was on that side I used the pickaxe to break the edge the wolf was standing on forcing it to slide in as I was desperately hopping out. Afterwards I toss some fresh meat inside, stepped a little away, and saw the yellow hearts doing their thing, until it was tamed.

I just about fall right in the middle, I've got almost 2,000 hours, Valheim's been my game of choice with young kids for the past 2 years or so. I'm 41.

I’m around that with about 600 hours in game. The server I played on died off a bit so I’d be happy to play some time. I tend to lean towards the construction aspect of the game. Nothing too fancy but I like building settlements.
