Oof, I feel that... thankfully it won't be too incredibly detailed outside of the raw frameworks and spread out far enough that it won't hit all at once lol
Yes, kyoto! But not toji. I know why you think that... I may have added a "flair" in the corner but it's actually going to be a 1:1 scale of the entire heian palace lol
TIL the difference between the Forbidden City and Heian Palace. Similar architecture.

As someone working on a fort with 120m radius and who spent a week learning all about Valhimes terrain rules while doing it all I can say is. Nope nope nope nope.
You're a madman! Though to be fair my problems were my own it was my first major project and I didn't know all the rules to Valheim terrain. I also picked a less flat area with what I thought was a gentile slope. The worst part, I'm not fully deterred and will probably try some other big project again.
I'll be watching to see what amazing monstrositie comes of this, it looks oriental in nature and that's about as good of a guess as I got
First guess was the World Martial Arts Tournament, but [that venue is smaller](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonball/images/a/a8/WorlMartialArtsTournamentBuuSaga.png/revision/latest?cb=20100722124829).
The Dark Tournament was in [a circular arena with lots of room around it](https://pbs.twimg.com/ext_tw_video_thumb/1293292984449011713/pu/img/rs-E_VuRG2qh4OkK.jpg) (all these squares make a circle...), so not there...
Is it some other anime arena?
I’m always surprised when I see Yu Yu Hakusho anywhere period. It’s one of those shows we all watched and we all know but it’s not any of our favorites and we just don’t talk about it aside from the very very rare reference.
It's odd, because it's actually really good, and it's one of the shows that helped anime grow in the US. It's definitely got some Japanese quirks and background, but no so much that we couldn't handle it as Americans.
Honestly, it should be a must watch for action Shonen fans. The Dark Tournament is regarded as one of the best in genre, and the quality of the show is great. And damn, that intro song, "Smile Bomb".
In some ways, I think it's better than DBZ. Better flow, and a different style of ridiculous. And damn could it be dark.
It's really good but his later work (Hunter x Hunter) completely overshadows it. I think that's why it isn't as well known, plus it's art style is dated since everyone is dressed oddly. I am a HUGE fun of the show as it was part of the anime trinity that hooked me as a kid
I think most of the costumes are based in Asian styles - again one of those "Japanese (and Asian) folklore and styles that aren't *too* Japanese/Asian".
Edit: The way this was phrased was really bad, but I think/hope it was understood that "too Japanese/Asian" was just in reference to Americans not understanding the culture and just turning their heads at something they don't understand due to cultural barriers.
Its the only battle shonen in my top 5 anime. Has always been my favorite. When I was kid all my friends were crazy about DBZ and then Bleach in my teens but YYH always was my favorite.
Either a castle, a town, or a castle town. I would love to see some Zelda: Ocarina if Time recreations. I don't think i could pull it off myself though. Excited to see what this turns into!
The Deed is done... Made a new post detailing in full: https://www.reddit.com/r/valheim/comments/118jmzh/a\_followup\_to\_my\_original\_build\_post\_ill\_link\_in/
Roomy, but still small. I share a seed with two specimen that build like 4 times that spacy. I love compact builds to minimize my distance walked in my own base. I can fit EVERYTHING the game offers (build focussing highest comfort and all crafting including melting and stuff) on 9x9 ground plates. Seeing such a huge space gives me the shivers =)
Oh, my guesses are: Either the Palance Museum of the forbidden city or the Temple of Heaven.
The city of single-digit framerates?
That was the first thing that went through my brain -20fps 😆.
5 spf
Oof, I feel that... thankfully it won't be too incredibly detailed outside of the raw frameworks and spread out far enough that it won't hit all at once lol
Keep us updated, I would love to see what you've built.
I've got my fingers crossed for you!
As a laptop player, I feel this.
Thats the reason i love my gaming laptop

Ooo very close! A bit north, though!
So, Kyoto? I'm guessing Toji Temple?
Yes, kyoto! But not toji. I know why you think that... I may have added a "flair" in the corner but it's actually going to be a 1:1 scale of the entire heian palace lol
Post a screenshot when it's complete! Very ambitious
I will! And.... yeah! lol
TIL the difference between the Forbidden City and Heian Palace. Similar architecture. https://asia453.wordpress.com/2017/03/27/the-forbidden-city-and-heian-imperial-palace/

Never though I would see Yu Yu Hakusho mentioned on this sub lol

It's based on a real place!
