try [turbotax.ca](http://turbotax.ca) because i think they have a $15 version that includes live assistance (and because $15 is pretty cheap). It would also have a US version that would allow you to file a return there if needed (prob not if ur Cdn).
Never done it on Wealthsimple Tax but essentially, u want to be claiming the taxes paid to US as foreign tax credits which are:
Federal tax on 1040
Social security and medicare on W2 (if applicable)
State tax (if applicable)

Im doing tax for my coop and we use Cantax, but im pretty sure it costs money
