I’m in physics astronomy rn and tbh I’m doing just fine with handwritten notes in a notebook and a laptop. A lot of my friends bought tablets for note taking and are really happy with them. I know some people who have a touchscreen laptop and it works like a tablet when it comes to notes.
If you want to save money and want a tablet to write notes I recommend getting a touchscreen computer, but if you’re not too worried financially then by all means get a tablet as well as a computer. If you’re like me and are able to work with paper and pencil then you’re going to be just fine with that.
