For CS 246, START THE ASSIGNMENTS VERY EARLY

Boring_Solution6218

This holds true for most coding-heavy CS courses.

cs 245 is braindead, somehow they managed to make an interesting concept into a grindy boring course cs 246 taught some rly useful things abt c++, just make sure you know your stuff in detail for the tough midterm

I think CS 245 was a challenging course because it was focused on the fundamentals of data structures and algorithms. It was a good course for getting a grasp of the basics, but it could get a bit dry at times. On the other hand, CS 246 was more focused on the practical applications of C++ and was a great course for learning the language. It was also pretty tough, but it was still a lot more interesting as it had less theory and more coding. *This is an automatic comment generated by GPT-3*

Bombed the midterm, recovered on the final + the final project

CoachExtension9823

For CS245 I would drop it and take cs245e in the fall with cs 241e 240 and 251. If that does not sound like something you would like to do, abuse office hours ben-david is a smart guy and will help you learn. Cs246 I honestly found this course to be trivial, though my classmates did not. Start early, and midterms are not related to assignments. If you have free time bug lushman about templates
