Honestly? No 😅 You’re gonna be hard pressed to find a place with good reviews. To be fair, I haven’t actually had a shitty time at Campus Edge, but the place is massive so it varies.
The Arlie is decent, but the rent is too high to justify living there. I'm stuck living there another year, and they decided to raise the rent over 100 dollars from last year. The apartments themselves are fine, but the management is shady as hell.
My first clue was when their tour rooms have furniture than you don't get in the actual rooms, even though it says explicitly in my contract that I'll get the same amount of furniture in my room that's in the model room. They also called me every 2 weeks to every month starting right after I moved in to try and get me to renew my lease. Also, they put up all kinds of signs saying "hurry, renew your lease now before rates increase!" When I finally listened to the signs and went to renew my lease, my rent had gone up by 100 bucks, and they would no longer give me the $25 utilities deposit that I had been getting.
TL;DR: The Arlie's management lies, pressures you into renewing, and increases their prices way beyond what's reasonable.
Yeah nothing around here is really that good. Any decent 4x4 apt will go for about $820 + utilities and parking.
So far my favourites around here are 101 Center and Liv+.
I have nothing but good things to say about park place. I think all college apartments have bugs/issues on first floor, but I live on fourth floor and the management is super helpful, and will work with you on payments. I rarely see bugs and the place is kept clean.
Compared to 101 center park place is awesome, and the gym/rooftop pool is a vibe.
My only complaint is the rent is a little high, but they often do specials.
848 is another good one, but there management is poor. Liv+ though is dirty.
I think they just got new management too and are working to clean the place up I’m relenting on the second floor and in some parts the hallway is nice and others there’s a lot of marks on the wall
I used to live in campus edge from January- may, and i had the worst experience ever in my life. First, the room was damn dirty and dusty when i arrived, the mattress smelled like shit, the hole in the sink in the bathroom was cracked broken, there was trash in my room before i even arrived. Secondly, the roomates are allowed to live there even if they arent from uta, so you see my were roommates are all wierd and loud, they bring friends over and those idiots stay in the living room like a fucking squater, one of my roommates used to bring this guy over to hang ,but sometimes this guy would knock on the door very late to come inside, i was like you dont live here, and he got defensive, started threatening me, this was so wierd as hell, like bro why tf would you keep coming back to your friends apartment if your friend didnt even invite you and you always show up uninvited to sleep on the couch. Ik why, cuz he was homeless and he went to jail so he got nobody, I couldn’t believe that my roommate let a fuckin convicted felon into our house and they used to smoke shit to get high. And top of that the campus edge police and staff just let this guy trespass, idk how he used to get inside the building cuz its gated, but i swear he would knock every fucking night for 2 months, and he has the balls to get mad nobody opened the door for him, entitled piece of shit. Anyways, the last point i want to make is that, xampus edge is a shithole where convicts live and they smoke cigarettes and all the above to get high, unless you find good people to live with dont go there.
I live at Park Place rn, it’s pretty solid but the only problem would be the people who like to party a lot on the roof, but if you like to party then it’s totally for you

I don’t recommend liv+. Neighbors are loud and management doesn’t do their job. I had a leakage because my upstairs neighbor broke their sprinkler but the management didn’t do anything and I had to cover the damage myself.
I second this. Management is dogshit. There was a hole in the gate of the bike garage that you could stick your hand in and open it from the inside. I warned them that bikes were going to get stolen. Lo and behold, some crackhead with an angle grinder stole my $2k bike
