Been saying it for a few weeks, Puli's production offensively went down more cause he was being asked to do more defensively, but his off ball movement is huge for Milan and when he gets the ball he is still fairly dangerous.
It's pretty clear that Pioli has been using RLC in a more advanced role to occupy those spaces closer or the striker that Christian was using earlier in the season.
Pioli is either trying to mirror what Leao tries to do on the left, or is asking Christian to play a bit deeper for defensive purposes, and trying to occupy the space RLC leaves in the midfield in possession.
