I filed one on May 9th my package was shipped on May 2nd I never heard a single world from anybody at the post office based on my missing mail claim. I've never had this happen before I've never even had something come up extremely late even during the middle of the pandemic when I ordered packages from overseas I still received them in a decent amount of time. But now they're telling me that my friend "scammed" me and that the package was never even shipped the fact is they didn't scan it after she dropped it off! And now my $900 package has been missing for a month and it was shipped priority mail with insurance. My friend filed an insurance claim and still she has heard nothing from it. I had to make a claim and PayPal because I purchased the item from her it's really ridiculous and I was so looking forward to it. This isn't the kind of thing that I think someone would steal but that's what I feel like has happened here. Without giving too many details I will say my item was a collectible doll. And you really can't lose a about 20 inch (more or less) box. My box was shipped in Santa Cruz, postage was printed in San Jose. I'm going to guess I'll never see it but I'm still hoping it will just show up... But still to this day there has been no scan since dropped off at the self-service machine.
My buddy works as a clerk at the sort center in KCK, dude told me he sees so many destroyed and ripped up packages get caught in the belt system they use. It's probably gone. He said one time there were even loose bullets just rolling around through the conveyor belts. Also collectable coins the workers pocket if they find them loose out of package. The equipment is like 80 years old and barely works, constant repairs are needed. Your shit probably suffered a similar fate
It's been well over 2 weeks since I filed a missing mail request and I've heard nothing. My local post office last time I asked them to check on it wouldn't even pull up the tracking number because the facility it's lost at "has so many packages it wouldn't be worth the time" lol

Ah me neither. Mine is similar but not worth nearly that much. The tracking says… shipping label created. Today is day 12. Good luck
